I had the wonderful experience of doing a 3 bathroom remodel, and many other add ons, with Phoenix Home Remodel in the fall of 2019. The entire team was extremely professional, easy to communicate with, reasonably priced and fabulous to work with. From the initial meeting with Jeremy to the final walk through, they made the entire process easy and manageable. Loved the app to track the whole process, loved when Mark was able to explain my vision to plumbers, glass, tile and the many other trades that we were working with. If you are ready to remodel, give them a call.

I will start by saying that most of the trades people were very nice and happy to explain their process. The owner was responsive when we hit a plumbing snag. Unfortunately, that’s where it ends. Our rude project manager made the experience unpleasant. The completed project shows a definite lack of attention to detail and is not what one would expect from a professional remodeling company. We have two remaining rooms to complete in our home but will not be using Holtzman nor can we recommend based on our own personal experience.

Steve, the owner came out to our home to give us an estimate for our master bathroom remodeling project that we have been saving up for. I will admit his prices were a tad bit hirer than other contractors that I had met with, but something told me he was the one and as a female you have to go with your intuition. He was very honest & genuine about the whole process and we all know the saying, you get what you pay for and I was willing to pay a little extra for piece of mind during my renovation...and as it turned out that is what I was given, just that. We were just thrilled the outcome of our master bathroom, we couldn't be happier!! I got the (spa-like) bathroom retreat that I always wanted and the whole team from design to the installers did a wonderful job, hence the 5 Stars. I absolutely LOVE my new bathroom!!

I currently work for Ben and finally found an employer that isn’t afraid or to good to bust his butt day in day out on the whole project with his employees! He is very meticulous, knowledgeable, and extremely accurate in all of his projects. He is the definition of a caring boss and professional businessman!... Can’t wait to see how many more families dream homes we make come to life!

We contacted Luxury Remodels after seeing one of their work vans near our condo which is in the Ladera Vista complex. We read their on line reviews and after hiring them we were pleasantly surprised at every aspect of our shower remodeling project. Every person from Luxury Remodels that we had contact with was extremely professional and polite. Our phone calls were always immediately returned and our shower was completed on time and looks absolutely amazing. The project manager stayed on top of the project and came to see the progress on nearly a daily basis. We couldn't be happier with the entire process and the outcome of our project. Was so happy to find a contractor who would do a small job. Others are only interested in securing large orders. Very happy with the speed of getting things set up and the quality workmanship.

They were awesome love them so much, they remodeled 5 room, and 2 closets, and built us a shed, they did a great job on every thing and getting things done on time and it's so beautiful, I would highly recommend Five40 for any of you remodeling needs and they did a great job on our shed, wonderful people, they started with our kitchen, living room, and bath and we loved everything so much we had them do our dining room and my husband man cave, then had them back to build our shed.

The crew worked diligently and completed the 3 bathroom remodels a day early. Very pleased with the new look and craftsmanship quality.

Wanted to update a shower..and had no friends’ recommendations....found Ross Brower’s website and “took the leap” based on his work description/vision advertised there...my husband and I were super super pleased with not only the final outcome, but the whole experience! He was ALWAyS on time, attentive to our questions, and did perfect work. He made us feel like a valued customer right from the start... quite refreshing in this day and age.

From start to finish, working with Scott and Lorrie was a 5 star experience. After an exhaustive search, we chose Hochuli Design & Remodeling because of their professionalism, attention to detail, expert level craftsmanship, and beautiful design aesthetics. We also didn't want to go with a cheap option that we knew we would regret later. We wanted experts because this is the home we plan to stay in forever. So, with high expectations and an abundance of trust, we left our home for 8 weeks (exactly what they estimated) and came back sight unseen, to view the finished product. Of course they kept us up to date on a weekly, if not daily basis, with photos and conversations with the Sean, the project manager. To say we were blown away with the results is an understatement! I still can't believe I live in such a beautiful house and have Scott and Lorrie to thank. It was worth every penny.

Amazing group of people to work with. The whole process of our bathroom remodel went seamlessly and we would recommend this company to all of our family and friends!

We recently completed our bathroom remodel with McCurdy Construction, and we’re very happy that we did. It took us nearly a year to find the right contractor for the job- having met with several companies before finally finding McCurdy. It’s refreshing to find a group of people who love what they do, listen to your ideas, provide great feedback, work with you to design a stunning home, and then follow up with great project management to keep things on schedule, on budget, and looking fantastic.

Leyda Herring McCurdy has an excellent eye for design, and was instrumental in developing out the design of our remodel.

And Rob Lara, one of the best superintendents we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, was on the ball, responsible, communicative, and helpful. He’s one of those “get it done” guys that can tackle anything you set in front of him.

Everything - from design to installation - was professional and in keeping with how we feel a business should be run. Even the follow through with a gift basket hand picked to fit the needs of our growing family was not only appreciated, but cemented our perceptions of McCurdy as a high class operation with integrity.

It’s hard to go wrong with a company like that.

They did my kitchen two years ago.These guys are absolute professionals. The owner and his head guy are very hands-on, and know how a project is supposed to go together. Their knowledge is both broad and deep, as is their technical skill.
Plus, they listened to me, both before and during my renovation, and addressed all my questions and concerns. They also had a number of suggestions that I hadn't considered, some of which we incorporated during construction.
Just spoke with Robert regarding an addition I'm considering. Hoping to have the crew back on site this coming spring!

My wife and I are extremely happy with how everything turned out! We had a entire bathroom remodeled, part of our kitchen updated, and had tile installed in majority of our home. I can’t say enough good things about Phoenix Home Remodeling, they communicated well, met all deadlines, and worked around our schedule.

Had everything we were looking for

To be fair, the team at Design Lab did get our vision for the kitchen and bath remodel we planned, and their designs did, eventually, work out. HOWEVER, we’d suggest, should you opt for their services, to be very clear about what services they plan to provide and to be certain that they are doing what they promised correctly. In our experience:

1. Design Lab represented themselves as the lead team for our remodel. Without telling us, after we hired the contractor they introduced us to, they signed a contract with the contractor and Design Lab became a subcontractor. This created confusion for all parties throughout the project.
2. We kept the same footprint in the kitchen. Despite this, Design Lab did not measure the existing cabinets correctly. The cabinets they ordered for one wall would not have fit. Fortunately, the contractor identified that issue, but it led to a 2-week delay.
3. There was a gap from design to construction, which was our choice. By the time the project started, the kitchen cabinets we had selected were no longer available. Rather than telling us, Design Lab simply ordered different cabinets they thought we’d like. We didn’t like their choice. This led to a 4+-month delay, during which we had no kitchen.
4. Design Lab often did not order sufficient quantities of materials (like tile, cabinet filler, crown molding, kitchen cabinet knobs). In the deal they made with the contractor, Design Lab apparently maintained control over ordering materials and supplies. This added time and frustration, because projects could not be completed in one visit from the trades brought in by the contractor. All these issues led to completely using the contingency piece of the project budget, even though there was only 1 change order ever made.
5. Design Lab incorrectly ordered the backsplash tile, when they made up for the shortage of the first order. We had 2 different style tiles waiting to be installed, but fortunately this was spotted by the contractor before the tile was to be installed. Design Lab also ordered kitchen knobs that were different from what was in the specs.

All of this made a project the contractor estimated would take 6 weeks ultimately take 8 months!
