Steve came to my house. Nice guy. I told him the work I wanted done. Reface fireplace, tear down a wall, new flooring and baseboards. My estimates were coming in from $25 to $35k. Steve didn't blink an eye, said his bid would be double. There will be a cold day in you know where that I pay up to $70k for this job on a 1650 square foot house!!! I don't like rip off artists!

I have rehabbed many properties and it is always hard to find great contractors but PJH is honest, detailed and on time with their work which is key to my business.

We contacted Luxury Remodels after seeing one of their work vans near our condo which is in the Ladera Vista complex. We read their on line reviews and after hiring them we were pleasantly surprised at every aspect of our shower remodeling project. Our phone calls were always immediately returned and our shower was completed on time and looks absolutely amazing. The project manager stayed on top of the project and came to see the progress on nearly a daily basis. We couldn't be happier with the entire process and the outcome of our project. We have had AMAX do two bathroom remodels and they built our patio cove . They do fantastic work. They are clean and professional. They keep you informed of the progress and scheduling. We highly recommend this company.

To the man driving the silver truck with the Five40 trailer that has already got 2 other driving complaints - I hope you do business better than you drive!! You just tailgated me from about 2 inches away on the freeway when I was going 75, then you sped past at about 90 MPH! I checked your reviews and there's 2 others saying the same exact thing! Maybe want to take your business off your trailer if that's how you're going to promote it! Calm the heck down!

Watch out for this company during rush hour traffic. Whoever drives the black Chevy/GMC crew cab towing the Holtzman trailer will bully his way over from the slow lane to the HOV lane almost hitting other vehicles with the trailer.

The folks at Power Home Remodeling were very flexible and were able to complete our project ahead of schedule with a great clean up afterwards.

This was supposed to have a bench seat. Unfortunately the designer either measured wrong or was only interested in the sale because had it been installed there would be a very small space between the seat and the toilet making it difficult to get into the shower. He also said that the panel would come out almost to the edge of the wall fixing the issue where the baseboard was. You can see it doesn't. I was supposed to get a call about the seat the next day after installation. Never got a call. I called them and asked if we could just swap the seat for a door since they were close on price. Person on the phone had no authority to say so he went to find someone who did. Eventually someone picked up the phone. He proceeded to tell me he had to charge a restocking fee but was willing to waive it since I wanted a door but he wouldn't swap it out. The difference was minimal and could have easily been absorbed. Customer is king is the phrase used at the business I work for. Clearly it isn't theirs. My bath looks good but it could have been much better and they could have had a loyal customer who would highly recommend them. I will say that the installer Tommy and his crew were amazing.

Hunter is wonderful! Home projects are about an accurate budget, quality work, limiting the dust/dirt, and on a timeline. He is great at all of these aspects of a project!

I have a tiled master shower walkin with a pan leak. I liked what I read on their website about how they conduct business and most important, how they build their showers. I called week one, no answer-left a message. I called week two, left a message. Week three, nothing. No call back, nothing. I don’t get it but I’m guessing they don’t need the work. Too bad, they were number one on my list. Moving on.

I had two bathrooms redone for the shower and bath tub. Professional work done by contractors. Owner isn’t professional and they don’t keep you in the loop or return calls. Lack of communication amongst the employees. Would not recommend to anyone!

I needed a handyman to repair grout, baseboards, and minor cabinet damage for an insurance claim. All repairs were done efficiently to my satisfaction. I didn't have the material to repair the built in cabinet and the handyman came up with a better idea, got the material and did the repair beyond my previous expectation. I would definately recomment this company.
