My wife and I did a lot of research collecting and formulating in advance our goals for our kitchen remodel. Steve Shinn and Aaron Thomas were extremely professional in every phase of the project. Our 1981 semi-custom home in Tempe was not an open floorplan by design. Steve listened and looked at all our research and together we came up with solutions that met our expectations and budget. Steve applied the classic work space triangle concept that is the cornerstone to making our new kitchen chef friendly. He included some extras like the pull out vertical pantry cabinets, deep appliance drawer cabinets and two waist-high spice drawers that are all utilized daily. Soffits were removed to allow full height upper cabinets greatly expanding cabinet capacities.

We wanted the warm look and feel of wood cabinetry. In particular we liked the minimum reveal look associated with modern European style cabinets. Steve did trade-off comparisons for us on locally crafted vs factory cabinets from the east coast. The local source worked out well as some unplanned adjustments were quickly crafted with little delay to the project.

We further challenged Steve with our lighting and power requirements. We have zoned ceiling lighting with small LED can lights as LED's were then becoming reasonably priced. All the appliance power outlets are hidden under the cabinets and under the granite breakfast bar. This solution allowed for a plug free stainless steel continuous backsplash with under cabinet mounted LED lighting.

In summary: Our experience using Homework Remodels was beyond our expectations. They should be high on your list to talk to and see if they can be the solution you have been looking for your remodel.

Deciding to remodel my house interior was a major decision. The scary part of this decision, I lived out of state in NY. I was fortunate enough to still have my first house I purchased while living in AZ. After reviewing various contractors, I felt the most comfortable with Phoenix Home Remodeling. Designer remodeling replaced all my kitchen cabinets several years ago. They still look BRAND NEW and my kitchen still has a new, fresh feel. I can't say enough about Neil and his crew. Doug and Dom were awesome! They were punctual, respectful, and professional. They stated this was one of their hardest demos and still had it down and the new one up (without glass) within 3 days! TWD installed an entertainment center in our great room and as always we were pleased beyond expectations. They were prompt, clean, professional, Morgan and his team provided a quality product with excellent craftsmanship. We already have them scheduled for another project and will be using them for our kitchen remodel in the future.

Holtzman impressed us by there process
When we signed our contract we had a welcome call for the company within 5 days from signing our contract. They went over there 5 steps process with us. We had communication and new all there process and what to expect every step of the way. There custom service department answer all our question. Will our superintendent went over are customer portal with us and the calendar so we new when the trades were coming to our home. There text message feature is great . Holtzman provide the worker that is coming to our home and what trade we can expect that day. There entire process from start to finish was very organized and it’s the best company we every work with. The workers and there finished product is exactly what the rendering they provide to us. We couldn’t be happier with our remodel. Definitely Holtzman is our contractor for life .

Paul oversees a skilled, reliable and exceptionally competent team with complete integrity. My husband and I have lost count of renovations done on our home over 33 years. Neoteric Builders is the only company that has performed exactly as they said they would, given us a quality of product beyond our extremely particular expectations, surprised us by addressing any issue before we had a chance to ask and will actually make us miss them now that we've wrapped things up. After having nightmare experiences with other contractors Good Guys was a breath of fresh air. They listened to what I wanted and after the very first visit gave me a design that was almost exactly what I had envisioned. They also had great suggestions for things I had not considered. They communicated with me every step of the way, even providing pictures and updates via their app while I was traveling. They were very respectful of me and my space and it was the cleanest construction project I have ever lived through. Of course there were a few challenges and changes along the way but they handled them professionally and I never felt like they were trying to increase the scope to increase the budget. I will not hesitate to use them on my next project!

I have used Granite Transformation North/West two prior times before. The first was to do new granite counter tops in the kitchen, new cabinet doors and reface the cabinets. My wife and I were so pleased we had them come back and convert a bathtub to shower and bathtub...The people were great the first two times from office staff to the installers. I even got a chance to talk to the owner and his wife a couple of times and both took a real interest in their customers. Due to the other times being great we decided to finish it out and do are second and last bathroom. When I made contact to verify the estimate from six months prior I found out the company had been sold. It was purchased by a big company out of New Mexico. The feeling of we care about our customers appeared to disappear. This was the first thing I noticed. Also the cost had almost double in price which showed me there was no loyalty to a returning customer. I decided to still go with them so that the materials would match what we had previously done. The second biggest reason was the two installers Wes & Eddie that did the install on the first bathroom. They were always on time and and knew what they were doing. They were extremely experienced and knowledgeable of their jobs. I would give them (5) Star reviews on their work.....It's to bad the company changed owners......

Kitchen Renovation Project - Communication was the key as we worked through the surprises and challenges that came up as we progressed through the project. Bobby was there on most days especially when he needed to step in and communicate necessary changes to get the job done properly to our satisfaction. There are many moving parts in construction. What you plan to do today may have some challenges on application and scheduled deliveries which can be out of your project manager’s control. Bobby is sure to update you on any issues so that you are not left scratching your head. He is prompt to return phone calls. At the end, I am quite pleased at the outcome of the build. Yes, I recommend working with this company.

Justin and Warren came to do our installation of our middle bath yesterday and these young men are wonderful. Very polite, courteous, and professional. For the 12 hours they were here they stayed on task every step of the way. They were amazing at maneuvering the pieces of our old tub out of our very narrow bathroom and squirrelly hallways - never touched a wall - amazing. They were precise with every piece they cut for the new bath install and they cleaned EVERYTHING up with precision and detail at the forefront. Amazing young men - I will recommend this company to ANYONE wanting to upgrade their bathrooms. Thank You for the quality and training you've invested in your people. Day 2 - Master Bath : Justin and Warren showed up on time and again got right down to business - they worked diligently all day and evening removing the old shower, making templates for each piece that needed to be installed, properly preparing each wall and floor for the new products (this IS an old house) they met each challenge with pure professionalism and the quality of their work was spot on. At the end of a very long day these young men presented us with an AWESOME new shower that is Beautiful and top quality work.
