Best Home Bathroom Remodels in Phoenix AZ

My wife and I purchased our Home, a Midcentury Modern built in 1955 by Ralph Haver in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. The Home had original ungrounded wiring with exposed wire splicing. There were also two rooms that were added by a previous owner without permits.

Ultimately, we wanted to fully restore our Home to its original character, while at the same time, installing all of the safety, amenities and conveniences found in homes of new construction today.

We interviewed a handful of contactors for this task, Steve Shinn from Homework Remodels being one of them. Steve immediately stood out from the group. We found him easy to talk to, prompt and extremely knowledgeable with the historic characteristics of our Haver Home.

With Steve’s help, we nearly rebuilt most of the major components of our Home. When it was said and done, we upgraded the entire wiring and electric panel, installed new HVAC main unit and ducting lines, replaced all of the plumbing lines (both supply and drain lines including the sewer), installed LED recessed lighting throughout the Home, constructed a stem wall, a trench drain and added mini split HVAC units which the City required for issuing permits for the two unpermitted rooms, installed a 16” slider to the backyard, utilized steel beams to remove loan bearing walls in order to open up the kitchen and the living rooms, installed a tankless water heater system, applied sprayed insulation in the small attic, and performed various other upgrades.

We are very happy with Steve’s work. We found Steve’s work to be of high quality and found Steve’s expertise and creativity in helping rebuild our Haver Home to be invaluable.

We plan on hiring Steve in the near future to complete Phase 2 of our Home, which will include all of the finishes.

They walked us through the entire process step by step, answered all our questions thoroughly, made the design process very easy, and did amazing work. Love this company! Our upstairs balcony was unsafe and had to be rebuilt. 12 ft cantilever beams supported it and 8 feet of the beams were above our dining room ceiling.
ArDan met with us to discuss the project which sounded elaborate to me. They explained everything in detail which eased my concerns.
We left town during the project and came home to find everything in back in place and their work was beautiful.
After that we hired them to remodel a bar in our home. Again, wonderful job. They are professional, on time and very nice people with tremendous follow through. Highly recommend!

Keith and his crew were great.
My husband and I previously had two of my kitchens remodeled and We knew exactly what ww wanted in my new home. We wanted a huge kitchen island that can accommodate our family gatherings.
My husband is a realtor , so we looked at over 100 houses before we found one with a kitchen that can be remodeled to our needs.
I have contacted two of my previous contracted with pictures of what we wanted and both told me that the biggest island they can do is 108”.
That’s when I started looking around and found Serranos Surfaces.
I contacted Keith and sent him multiple designs. At that point we still haven’t moved into our new home.

Our initial project was only to redo the kitchen island. But when Kieth came into our home and did all the measurements, we realized that we can afford to redo all the kitchen countertop.
Two weeks later we had our dream 123” island.

Attention: I vented too soon. I finally got up the nerve to call Legacy and they were nice enough to grant me an appointment. Our misunderstanding was cleared up and a trust was formed and now Legacy is remodeling my bathroom. It has been nothing but a positive and professional experience working with them. And a very important thing, is that they are Licensed and they also have that Great Reputation that comes with them! And they make sure to live up to it! I was referred to Superior Stone and Cabinet by one of my customers. All I can say is my experience was extremely pleasurable. I walked in and was greeted by Ray Baxter. He was very professional and courteous. He had me pick out my color of cabinets that I have, and showed me some colors of granite. I picked the first one he showed me. Beautiful colors that matched perfectly. We proceeded to pick the tile back splash. He was at my house, to measure, a couple hours later. Only one week later, the installers came and put it all in. They were awesome. I love my new kitchen!!
