Best Custom Tile in Phoenix AZ

A few years ago, we had several significant cracks in the plaster walls and ceilings of our 1910 Craftsman bungalow. Rod with Homework Remodels was able to fix them all in one day and even now we can't tell where his patchwork starts and ends. Having a 100+ year old home in Phoenix, we're always looking for true craftsmen that will respect the style and idiosyncrasies of older houses and not just do the quick and easy fix. Thanks, Rod!

Adam and his install team and PM, Beth, were professional, on time and exhibited pride in everything thing they did. We had the back splash replaced, all kitchen cabinets refaced, repainted and new soft close drawers and hinges added. The outcome was gorgeous! Very obvious these guys know what they are doing. Our shower remodel was done as the Project Manager, Jason, explained it to us. The remodel was started earlier then was forecast and was completed in one and half days by Andres and Jose. They worked very hard and answered questions we had. We are very satisfied with their work and recommend them for future projects.Picture # 1 after picture #2 before.

From the first meeting with James, I was impressed with his professionalism and attention to detail. He took pictures of the kitchen and explained what I was looking at and allowed me to ask questions. The second meeting was to discuss installation details. He was also very attentive and told me he would be on site and to direct any questions to him during the installation. I received personal attention every step of the way and the kitchen looks fabulous!!

John and his crew did a fabulous job refacing the cabinets in my kitchen. They were very professional, on schedule and within budget. The workmanship was excellent, down to the finest detail. They will definitely handle my next bath or kitchen project!

I normally do not do reviews or recommendations companies unless I REALLY like them, or I REALLY had a terrible experience with them and I want to tell people to stay away!! This one is because I absolutely trust Holtzman and would recommend them to ANYONE looking to remodel their home!! This will be my 3rd major project that I have used Holtzman for. I started using them back in 2008 when Brandon and his crew built my daughters bedroom for her and did other remodeling projects around our house. The bedroom was of course beautiful complete with a walk in closet, custom built in shelving and chair rail in the room. She was so happy! It was beautiful and it was a great addition to the house! I then used them when we decided to buy a rental property and make some changes to update the house before putting it on the market for renters. Things like updating the flooring, countertops and bathrooms. Once again, they did not disappoint! Everything was beautiful and we had renters in no time at all! This time was no different! We decided to buy another property to rent but we were on a strict time schedule! I flew in from out of town, called Judy and told her my situation and that afternoon I was meeting with Paul! By the next day I had a quote and a plan and everything was good!
Yes, there have been delays but that is to be expected. But I will also say, Brandon himself went and did a walk through before things started and found mold and water damage. Had he not done that we would have never known. Some contractors could have just let it go and just covered it up! But of course Brandon let us know and the project had to stop while that was taken care of properly. It just shows Holtzman does care about what they are doing and that they take the time to do it right. I would rather have some delays then have people rushing to get things done and it not be done right.
Yes, I think they are a little higher priced. But I also believe you get what you pay for. I think their communication is great, Brandon always gets back to me. Holtzman has treated us like family since 2008, and they continue to do so through this crazy condo remodel of mine today! So thank you to Brandon and his entire Holtzman team!

We had a complete remodel of our guest bath and master bath, and they look amazing! Paul and the rest of the team from Neoteric Builders did a fantastic job. They were so easy to work with and helped so much with designing exactly what we wanted. We are so pleased with the quality of their work and would highly recommend them. Love this company! Our upstairs balcony was unsafe and had to be rebuilt. 12 ft cantilever beams supported it and 8 feet of the beams were above our dining room ceiling.
ArDan met with us to discuss the project which sounded elaborate to me. They explained everything in detail which eased my concerns.
We left town during the project and came home to find everything in back in place and their work was beautiful.
After that we hired them to remodel a bar in our home. Again, wonderful job. They are professional, on time and very nice people with tremendous follow through. Highly recommend!

Cannot say enough good things about our experience with Good Guys. Good Guys completed a full kitchen, living room, dining room and entertainment room renovation for us last August and September and we are now working with them on plans for master and guest bathroom renovations to be completed this summer. So we are obviously happy with them by trusting them again with our home.
On our initial renovation, we had been through 3 months of a process with different group and it was a nightmare. After moving on from that designer, my wife and I were in need of a group that could regain our confidence in proceeding and within a week of a first meeting with Amber, Shannon and Dean we realized we were in good hands and our vision was back on track. We needed a group that could not only design to our vision but also that could project manage the execution as we were going to be out of the country during the renos. The project management piece and having Dean on site was of huge value to us. Dean kept us posted of progress with pictures and videos through an App. When any issue came up, Dean kept us posted on our options and we always felt he was working on our behalf to make sure we were staying within budget and making the best decision for us, not the company or any sub involved. The job was done on time as promised and on budget. We returned to PHX to a new, clean house ready to live in. Any follow up or warranty work was attended to in short order. We even had a small issue with a new barn door last month that Dean came back and adjusted for us on his way home.
My wife and I are pleased to act as a reference for Good Guys anytime.

Custom Creative Remodeling was great to work with. First Praveen meet with us and then provided us with referral where we could actually see his work and talk to his clients about the work Custom Creative performed etc. That gave me the reassurance to choose Custom Creative Remodeling. I met with Jennifer their in-house designer that helped me pick out the deco band to go with the travertine tile Praveen recommended for our shower remodel. We had existing small shower 3’x 5’ with garden tub next to it. They demo all to make one large shower with bench, 2 hand- held shower heads and 1 rain shower. They provided all the demo, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting for our new master bathroom. Danny the tile guy was very meticulous in getting the travertine installed correctly he hand polished each bullnose edge. There was a little hick-up in communication in reference to Praveen also provided us additional work and repairs needed or wanted to do before the Christmas holiday and family would be in town. Once we had new contract for the “Tile work and painting plus additional drywall work needed, Praveen put together expedited team to get the work done before the family was in. Work to include removing popcorn ceiling in bedrooms and family room and retexture the ceilings, kitchen dyrwall repairs, drywall repairs in garage and computer room, re-grouting staircase and hallway tiles with epoxy grout, painting pretty much entire house, except the master bedroom and upstairs bath and closets, and providing back-splash tile at kitchen and window sill ledges. Jennifer again came through to help us create and choose the right tiles and patterns to accent the existing countertops installed. Praveen and 2nd tile team meet the schedule of 2 days to have all the tile work completed. Praveen created a border around the edges to put it all together. The colors and layout that Jennifer help to pick out really make the countertop pop and we get many compliments on our new kitchen. I would highly recommend Custom Creative Remodeling Praveen will work with you to get the job done. Recently got my counters redone with granite. Keith gave me a full overview of how everything would work and turn out. Really happy and exited for my new finished kitchen

Just being honest...Staff walked out in the middle of our project. Our counter tops were lost, but after our own phone calls they were found. The cabinets are terrible construction. Measurements taken wrong leaving under floor exposed & used ugly trim to cover it. Ceiling raised & so uneven special trim had to be made. Wrong color cabinets installed. I was told its all in the lighting & that I signed off on the color which I did sign, but in planning we picked a color & told them that we absolutely did not want the color installed. Project took almost 1 year (11 months.) There were days that workers did not show up. We had to call to find out why. We were told many times, so & so would be here & after waiting all day, it would be another no show. We are just happy this is done. My husband will fix the small thing that need to be fixed.

I researched providers for countertops for a year, including following ratings by customers. Petrus was consistently in the top-rated spot. When I made my decision to complete the project my first visit was with Petrus. From the initial visit and meeting with Fabio at the company headquarters to the finished project the people at Petrus were friendly, knowledgeable, informative, and professional in every way. The work was completed on schedule and the results are beautiful. I couldn't be happier with my choice of Petrus. I have other projects in mind, and Petrus will be my first call.
