We hired Maxum based on the relationship we developed with the designers Jerry & Brian who were very caring, professional and followed thru with all their commitments. We then waited several months for the work to start. We were told they wanted to wait to start until they had all the materials so there wouldn't be any delays once they started. Unfortunately that isn't what happened. They had some really bad subcontractors doing work on our house that were constantly making mistakes like taking out lighting that wasn't being replaced (even after we told them so), installing the wrong tile even after going over all the tile and instructions, building unlevel walls, etc. There was very little supervision of these idiots and when we complained to Maxum, we kept being told what great work they've done on other jobs. After several weeks of this, they finally acknowledged the bad work being done and brought in new guys that did know what they were doing but they didn't get very far since they ran out of tile replacing all the bad work that we had to wait 2 more weeks for them to get replacement tile.
The communication has been awful, they don't contact me until after repeated calls/ texts to them. We're never told in advance what's being done when, how long things are going to take, when we're getting our house back. It's been a very frustrating experience! I hope we will be happy with the results when/ if they finally get done. I don't know how they have managed to stay in business 20 years of they is how they operate. I don't recommend them at all.

Trevor is one of the nicest contractors I’ve worked with. He is very knowledgeable in just about everything and will do his due diligence if he isn’t familiar with something. He is very honest and very competitive with pricing. I would highly recommend him for any project you have in mind.

We used Atelier507 to remodel the tiling of our master bathroom shower, add a niche, and update the water fixtures. Throughout the entire process, they were very responsive, provided 3D renderings of what the final look would be and would update the renderings for any detail we want to add/remove/adjust. Atelier507 also provided progress photos during and after the project. They did an excellent job and were very professional. We are very satisfied with the final look of our shower. I highly recommend using them!

After months of looking for a contractor that I felt I could trust and understood my taste to remodel my master bathroom I found Spicegirls. Loved the concept that they are a women run business. I do not live in the US at this time and in so all of our decisions, pictures ect. were done virtually. I was updated regularly. My bathroom has turned out beautifully. Highly recommend.

Had Sunset Tile and Bath quote us on a remodel of our master bath.We wanted the old shower torn out and replaced with a new shower with a pony wall and glass on top of the pony wall with no shower door.They suggested several different tile options based on what we told them we were looking for and we actually chose several of their recommendations.They also suggested a niche for shampoo,etc and a row of special accent tile.They did an excellent job and their workers were some of the most meticulous workers we have ever had do any work for us.We will definitely use them again if we redo the guest bath.

Rebath upgraded both of my bathrooms in my townhome. The process, from start to finish, was incredibly smooth and painless. The cost is pretty competitive and their products have decent warranties on them.

The free in-home consultation was a breeze, and I didn't feel like I was being upsold at all. My consultant was Jim Blackburn, and he was helpful and informative and attentive.

The entire process took a week, and the technician was great. He was professional and courteous, cleaned up every night, and would give us a run down of what he was doing each day.

I will gladly recommend Rebath to anyone needing a new bathroom.

Elan managed a kitchen, bathroom, and staircase job for us. All jobs were completed on time and very nicely done. Excellent communication, respectful team of workers, and consistent follow-up. Would recommend to anyone in need of a contractor!

They showed up as promised, their work was perfect, and they cleaned up completely before they left. The end result is terrific. We will definitely use them again, and strongly recommend them to anyone who wants a professional job.

We chose Better Than New Kitchens based off all of the positive reviews they had received online and after working with Dan and his team,I have to say the reviews are justified. I truly appreciated the time Dan spent with us working through the design to make sure it included everything from our wish list, while still fitting within our budget. This included a number of customizations like new shelving to replace a corner cabinet stained to match our floors, a custom finished hood, and working with the cabinet manufacturer to create a custom bevel. All of which helped tie the kitchen together with the rest of the house, and delivered a final product that exceeded expectations.

Then when it came to installation, I couldn’t have been more impressed with the team of craftsman that installed our kitchen. They were very professional, got right to work, and were extremely detail oriented. They obsessed over every gap and drawer alignment to a point where I knew there wouldn’t be any issues at the end of the project.

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Better than New, and will be reaching out to them for my master bathroom and laundry shortly.

Poor craftsmanship! Poor design! Poor customer service! Be prepared fro many change orders, tons of re-work on every aspect of the job. Project will cost more and take longer than you ever imagined. I would not recommend!

Very disappointed with Jeff. Very poor representation of the company.Wife and I have been excited about redoing our kitchen for awhile. We reached out to this company and saw what great work they did. Unfortunately I really didn’t know what to think about Jeff and his first impression. We originally had an appointment for 9am on a Wednesday morning but had to reschedule and move back to later that afternoon. I was okay with that since appointments do tend to go over at times. Our appointment lasted 30 minutes. That drew the first red flag. Jeff showed up with shorts, a t-shirt and a baseball cap. I thought it was casual Friday, but realized it was only Wednesday. Jeff wasn’t in tune with anything I was saying. He wrote a makeshift proposal and completely forgot about our kitchen island within that 30 minute timeframe. It looked like he was in a rush. The proposal didn’t get finished and promised to have it emailed by end of day, which that didn’t happen. He claimed he was new, had 6 months with the company, was someone’s assistant and didn’t want to loose his job if he forgot something. Measured only the kitchen sink. I thought he knew his stuff and was good at eyeballing things. Our kitchen is small mind you, but I strong believe in first impressions regardless how small or big anything is. Wife and I may have to wait a little longer to get our kitchen done. I totally understand nothings free, not even water, but the number he gave us didnt including the countertops and the island. I know I’ll be going over budget. I may have to do this myself.

So unfortunate you would reply the same way to me as you did to Kristina Ferreira. Unfortunate people won’t take ownership of their issues. I’ll give you another review. I did call the 800 number. Jeff or whoever this individual working for whatever franchise of kitchen tuneup he works for is reached out and apologized. Promised to have the proposal by 2pm. DIDNT deliver. Texted him back requesting that he does not contact me again. Then people complain about jobs going to other people and or countries. If Jeff doesn’t work for you then I’ll find a way to post his picture captured from my doorbell camera on this review to help other potential clients to avoid this impostor.

I seldom post reviews, but my experience with Scott and Lorrie was so good that I had to post this review.

After being locked inside for a year due to the pandemic, we just couldn't stand our house anymore! So we decided to remodel the whole thing. Lorrie worked with us for two weeks coming up with a design that we absolutely loved, and Scott and his team made it our dream with so little fuss or mess, it was unbelievable. They even finished the project sooner than expected. We now love our home again. Thank you!!
