Best Residential Home Remodeling in Phoenix AZ

Deciding to remodel my house interior was a major decision. The scary part of this decision, I lived out of state in NY. I was fortunate enough to still have my first house I purchased while living in AZ. After reviewing various contractors, I felt the most comfortable with Phoenix Home Remodeling. I have to admit that this was the most stress free, easy going process I ever experienced. I was able to keep in contact with Ben even with a 3 hour time difference. I was informed about the progress of my project by phone and was also sent photos. The final results of my remodel were above my expectations. My place looks great! Thanks to Ben and his crew.

Top notch, sensitive work!

We were looking to remodel our shower and met with numerous companies with pushy salesmen that quoted us ridiculous prices. Thankfully, we were referred to Aqua Therapy! Derek and his team were amazing. They were professional, they did exactly what they said they would do and gave us a beautiful shower at a reasonable price. We were able to get a better quality shower than the original companies were recommending. Soooo glad we chose Aqua Therapy! We couldn’t be more happy!

Timeliness: Demo began 9/10/18 and job was not complete until 2/27/19. We went days/weeks where no one showed up to work on the house. After they cut a post tension line, the project sat for over 2 weeks with nothing being done!

Craftsmanship: 90% of the trades they sent over were excellent! They did great work, had great attitudes, and cleaned up after themselves before leaving. The completed work looks great!

Planning: To give a few examples - the flooring guys came over to install, but there was no flooring dropped off the night before install. Drywall guys showed up, but city inspection was not signed off, so drywall could not be done. Anytime a trade leaves, they move onto another job, and yours gets pushed back again!

Communication: HHI will only call you when they are looking for another payment. Other than that, you will need to call them to get an idea when to expect someone at your home to do any work. They use an online tool/portal called Buildertrend and Faztimate. Buildertrend will notify you when your job is rolled back, you will then need to call HHI and ask why. Both systems I find difficult to use. I have requested HHI email me info, but they refuse, and direct me to their portal.

Cost: Lets just say they wrote an allowance for a custom door at less than $300. When they sent someone out to measure the door, I was quoted $5700.00. When I pushed back, I was told Oh yeah, thats Frankie, he is expensive. So they sent another person out that quoted $1100.00. . . . . . . . .

Professionalism: The owners don't have the first idea what this is! They take no responsibility and point fingers at the customer nonstop. They send snarky text messages and even threaten to sue you!
For example, final door was painted on 2/27, and Brandon emailed me that evening stating Here is the copy of the late bill you owe. How am I late paying you when you just finished the job a few hours ago?? I have asked both Danny Holtzman and Brandon Holtzman to email me a breakdown of charges, to reflect changes made and credits, but am told we have already credited everything we are going to credit. After telling Brandon I would be going to ROC, YELP, and news stations for help, he threatened to sue me. He made it clear he has a team of attorneys, so it's not an issue for him.

Now the job is done, but I have no clear answer on what the balance truly is. Danny and Brandon have not sent me an itemized summary showing corrections and credits, and claim they don't need to supply it to me either. As of my last phone call with Brandon, he is busy with his kids sporting events, isn't in front of a computer all day, and will look into it later. I just want to pay what I truly owe, and move on with my life!

We have used this companies services several times over the last ten years. Always on time with good results and reasonable prices.

Ben and his crew have some amazing southwestern home remodeling skills. You can tell that they truly love what they do!

The first estimate from another popular place I won't mention sent a guy out that just seemed bored with his job and I didn't feel like he was listening to a word I was saying.
The second one from yet another place sent out a guy that listened, but didn't seem to know what he was doing.

They had my kitchen cabinets installed with quartz tops within 2 week and the project turned out flawless!
Anthony coordinated everything and even threw in a couple things at no charge.
I can’t recommend them highly enough so before you decide to go anywhere else go see them, you won’t regret it.

I am 100% pleased with Graco. My neighbor and I both had our flat roofs replaced. Abraham was really helpful and honest. They also followed up quickly after the sale when we had questions. They worked with my insurance company and everything was covered without compromising the quality of my roof. Veny and his crew did a fantastic job remodeling our bathroom and BBQ.It was a big job and he came in on budget ,on time and the workmanship was very professional.Would definitely recommend AZ Granite !!!

We had Spicegirl Remodeling renovate our kitchen this summer. New floor, countertops, tiling, lots of painting. We are extremely pleased with how the kitchen came out. Ericka was awesome and did what was necessary to ensure a great outcome. As with just about any project of this nature there will be bumps along the way but it is how those bumps are dealt with that matters. Ericka was flawless in handling those bumps and we can't thank her enough. After several months everything is holding up beautifully. Her crew was also very professional and we enjoyed having them work in our home. I highly recommend them!

I decided to do a major remodel of my home. It was overwhelming until I got much needed help from The Remodel Store and More. It was truly More as I not only was provided with the materials I needed but also with recommendations as far as flooring, cabinets, and color schemes.
Everything came out looking great!

In this long review I want to give you an idea of what we went through. Our remodeling project consisted of a new kitchen, new master bathroom and new entertainment center in the Arizona Room. Based on the significant dollar investment, our expectation was high level of quality in materials and labor, and meeting schedule commitments. Legacy Design Build Remodeling overall met these expectations.
They accomplished this by following their advertised process which consisted of.
(1) Project Analysis which was to really understand what we wanted to accomplish and discuss what that means to us in time and cost. They explain their process and we met the key people that would be involved in managing the project. This initial step really helped us understand the full scope of work and funding that our wants created.
(2) Pre-Build and Permitting Phase was our most enjoyable because this was the design phase of the project. We were fortunate to work with Jeremy, who had particularly good design ideas. He spent as much time as we needed until we had acceptable drawings. As part of this phase, we decided to use the vendors that they recommended. It turned out to be the right decision. We selected all the cabinets from Solid Cabinetry which is a Phoenix based cabinet manufacturer. What we got was high quality custom level cabinets at a production manufacturer price. We were able to go to the manufacturing site and select what we specifically wanted in style and color. Next we went to ProSource to select our tiles, trims. We worked with Katie who is a fabulous designer. From there we went to Hughes Supply where we had a great selection of plumbing fixtures, cabinet handles, etc. We worked with Kare, a great designer and extremely knowledgeable about pluming products. We then went to Arizona Fireplace to select our new fireplace. We got exactly what we wanted.
Finally, we went to The Yard to select our countertops. What a superb selection they had at very reasonable costs. This was 3 days of enjoyable shopping, learning about different styles, functionality and product quality.
(3) Building is the demolition and construction phase. In this phase they assigned a Project Superintendent who, on a daily basis, managed and coordinated the construction schedule, workforce and oversaw work quality. If you are familiar with construction projects, you know that nothing goes totally as planned. So we had our share of minor delays, missing materials and redoes and some frustrations. The great news is Craig, our Super, handled everything, kept us informed and at the end we had what we had originally deigned for and wanted. While the management team was first class, you don’t get quality deliverables if the hands-on works aren’t good. Well Legacy has the finest Master Carpenters, Cabinet and Iron works people I have ever met. Floyd, our Master Carpenter, who installed our cabinets and did other trim work treated this project like he was doing his own home and his wife was looking over his shoulder. He checked, measured, touched up every cabinet, cabinet door and door handle until it was 100% perfect. We were satisfied with the quality a lot sooner than Floyd.
(4) Closeout is the final walkthrough which went quickly and easily. The main reason is that Ritch, Production Manager had everything 100% complete. This included the Punch List (of only 5 minor items), the financial reconciliation and a completely clean, painted and polished areas that was the construction site.
Now we are enjoying our remodeled home knowing that we have a 2 years warranty for anything. You just can’t go wrong with a company that ensures quality of workmanship and products throughout their process which includes the vendors and subcontractors.

I highly recommend Sun Country and Steve Garrett. As a Realtor in Scottsdale, AZ I have seen lots of home renovations, some good and some not so good. I had the pleasure to work with Steve and Sun Country personally on a project in Silverleaf Community. Steve took his time listening to the home owners wants and went above and beyond to deliver the vision the home owner had for this luxury home renovation. Robert Davis (West Haven Builders) has done several remodeling projects in our home for my husband and I. Each job was completed just as we had hoped and asked for. We had seen some of his previous work in other satisfied customers homes and knew we wanted him to help us. His estimates and quotes were very reasonable. He never promised something he couldn't do. He stayed within the estimates and went above and beyond to ensure we were pleased with the job. We appreciated his honesty, good communication and his patience with us if we decided to make a slight change midstream. He is a professional in every sense! We highly recommend Robert!

Easy to communicate and very empathetic to the remodel. They not only managed my issues with bad weather and a whole load of old bathroom issues, but was open to working through the issues with patience and grace. I was a little pessimistic regarding this type of walk-in shower remodel with my older home - but found true artists of their skill. I'm not easily impressed but this time… Absolutely!! Premium services. As a repeat customer I requested mask and shoe covers, which were honored. Floors and furniture were covered before any work began. Finished project, four canned lights for living room and two canned lights for closet. These updates and upgrades have made a huge difference to our home.

123 Remodeling team did a great job on my fairly large kitchen project. They remodeled a very dated kitchen, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results and the experience. Their team is outstanding: professional and responsive. Their designer provided great guidance and was wonderful to work with. Project manager, Ben, kept all running smoothly and handled any and all of my questions. I now have a kitchen I can really enjoy. I highly recommend them!
