Best House Repair in Phoenix AZ

In the first stages of researching people to do a bathroom remodel, I reached out to friends & co-workers. I received ZERO recommendations from them, but a few who not to work with as well as hearing the story of how one of my co-workers had an open BBB complaint against the company they used. I've never done this size remodel before so I was already a little nervous, but hearing their stories stressed me out!

I went online to do some research and that included NextDoor and the Living Chandler Facebook group. Checked out past remodel posts and noted any companies that were recommended multiple times. Once I got a fair amount of companies, I started calling them for initial consultations. After that I narrowed it down to 3 for in-home consultations and quotes.

All 3 quotes were in the same ballpark, which was good since I didn't feel like anyone was trying to take advantage of me. I went with Phoenix Home Remodeling (PHR), because unlike some of the others, they didn't try to push me in a specific design direction and didn't try to force expensive options. Seriously, one company really tried to upsell me on everything, even when I would share concerns.

Jeremy, Ben, Mark, and Jason made me feel comfortable and, while working with them, reinforced that I made the correct decision by listening to my questions and concerns. They were able to take general ideas/concepts and make them a reality! Their subs also helped reinforce that I went with the right people. Lupe (tile), Roy (vanity), Cody (woodworking, misc), and everyone else were friendly, polite, asked me questions to make sure they got things right, and did a wonderful job.

Any kind of remodeling can be overwhelming, and PHR was the perfect guide through the process and helping me keep my sanity. I've already recommended them and will continue to do so, and I look forward to using them again! (apologies for the novel, but I can't say enough good things about PHR)

Steve, the owner came out to our home to give us an estimate for our master bathroom remodeling project that we have been saving up for. I will admit his prices were a tad bit hirer than other contractors that I had met with, but something told me he was the one and as a female you have to go with your intuition. He was very honest & genuine about the whole process and we all know the saying, you get what you pay for and I was willing to pay a little extra for piece of mind during my renovation...and as it turned out that is what I was given, just that. We were just thrilled the outcome of our master bathroom, we couldn't be happier!! I got the (spa-like) bathroom retreat that I always wanted and the whole team from design to the installers did a wonderful job, hence the 5 Stars. I absolutely LOVE my new bathroom!!

Very professional. Repaired hairline cracks in garage ceiling drywall using expansion joints to compensate for the excessive heat that is experienced in the garage during summer months. Taping, spackling and painting to finish the work came out excellent. Highly recommend them for this type of work.

After Ben did a fantastic job remodeling our daughter's kitchen, we hired him to remodel our kitchen and great room. This project involved removing a fireplace as well as some walls, and replacing floor tile throughout. Ben was easy to work with and highly dependable. He coordinated with our kitchen designer and communicated with us every step of the way. We were very pleased with Ben and hope to hire him again in the future.

Veny and team did an amazing job on our Kitchen and Bathroom remodel. The team is very detailed and goes extra to make sure that you are happy with the finished project. Watch out for this company during rush hour traffic. Whoever drives the black Chevy/GMC crew cab towing the Holtzman trailer will bully his way over from the slow lane to the HOV lane almost hitting other vehicles with the trailer.

From the first meeting with Brian to the end of my remodel I had excellent customer service. Jerry, Debbie, Jeremy, Ritchie, and Scott are a great team. I remodeled my laundry room, powder room, study, master bedroom, master bathroom, and hallway and I LOVE it! So much fun working with Debbie and picking out flooring, cabinets, countertops, etc. Jerry was the Supervisor and always kept me updated on what to expect when. We used West Haven Builders to remodel and update our home. Robert and his wife Ana were professional, responsive, honest, hard working, and a pleasure to work with. Robert is incredibly talented and does impeccable work. He is easy to have in your home and neat. Their prices are competitive and their work is second to none. It is rare to be wowed anymore and we were wowed! We will definitely use West Haven for any and all projects going forward.

Replacing my shower, I thought about it for 3 years and when i found Bathlogic, i was impressed with the product. The service was outstanding as well. Fair prices and a great experience!

Republic West did an awesome job on our remodel ... they were on time and stuck to the agreed upon price.

It’s been over a year and have not been able to resolve our issues with the poor workmanship on the tile that they replaced. Trying to get a credit so i can have someone do it and now not returning emails. Will call them next.

They refunded the monies from the work done on the tile. Just disappointed that I have to find someone to remove the tile they installed and get someone else to replace. The other work they did was excellent. Again, they need a professional tile installer.

I hired XLT Construction to remove old carpet and tile from my home and install brand new tile flooring. It was a big job and they completed it in 1 week (and even worked on Thanksgiving to ensure it would be completed on time).

Price: I received quotes from a few other companies and Leonel’s (owner) price was competitive and the lowest quote overall. I like that his quote provided materials such as underlayment and grout. I also liked that he was able to provide a virtual quote through video conference since this was my preference during the covid-19 pandemic.

Work: the demo guy worked really hard and efficiently to remove the old carpet and flooring. There were several other guys that skillfully laid the tile and ensured that the pattern had a good amount of variation. It turned out fantastic and looks like a new home. The guys were respectful and worked diligently.

I would highly recommend them.
