Remodeling is such a daunting concept...until you meet the guys at Phoenix Home Remodeling. From the initial conversation, we were made to feel that our vision didn’t seem too far fetched after all! We gave them a long wish list and they took the time to provide the quote for each item allowing us to proritize. The quote left no room for big surprises. They were always accessible which is very helpful to anxious homeowners! What was even more impressive was how neat they left the work area each day. We were fortunate to have Russell and Oscar here to install our new shower wall system, slip resistant base, grab bars, shelves and plumbing. They expertly removed our old dated tub, old plumbing and fixtures, shower door, shower walls and drywall. We are very satisfied customers and will recommend Dreamstyle Remodeling to our friends and neighbors. We are no longer embarrassed to let anyone use our guest restroom because it is no longer ugly and dated looking. We used Structura Remodeling for our remodeling job for the front exterior of our home, to include the installation of a new front door as well as outside lighting. I wasn't sure my request could be accomplished since our home was very traditional and I was looking for a more modern look. Upon meeting with Kobe, the owner, and discussing what we were looking for, Kobe was very attentive and understood our needs. Not only did he get the work done quickly and efficiently, but I can't say enough about the finished results. Absolutely amazing! It was well worth it and so glad we chose Structura remodeling for our remodeling needs.

We live in a historic home (1926) and needed to have the bathroom completely remodeled. We hired Homework Remodels to take everything out (tile floor, walls, ceiling, tub, toilet, vanity, etc) and install a new bathroom. They were very professional and were great to work with. We explained the items that we wanted, and they provided information on those items as well as other options, which we greatly appreciated. They communicated very well throughout the project, and we were extremely happy with the end result. Working on historic homes can be difficult and unpredictable, but their expertise made it look easy. This bathroom is the only bathroom in our house, and they managed to keep it functional throughout the entire construction phase, which is an incredibile feat. Our new bathroom is beautiful and is better than what we expected - great quality of work! We finally have a bathroom that we are proud of. We will definitely hire them again for future projects. I highly recommend them.

Jordan was professional and communicative. Job ran an extra day over than expected but was informed of why and details to work with our schedule to finish the project. By far the best communication we have had with a company in the valley on a project.

Refreshing to work with professionals. I had an extensive remodel done and Holtzman Home Improvement restored my faith in contractors finishing on budget and ahead of schedule.

Starting from the planning stages all the way through the finished project my expectations were met and exceeded. I never felt pressured to do anything out of the scope of planned work, I was well informed and educated about any issues that arose and again the work was finished on time and budget. Holtzman Home Improvement worked competently and proficiently, throughout the project my home was treated with care and respect.

We hired Maxum based on the relationship we developed with the designers Jerry & Brian who were very caring, professional and followed thru with all their commitments. We then waited several months for the work to start. We were told they wanted to wait to start until they had all the materials so there wouldn't be any delays once they started. Unfortunately that isn't what happened. They had some really bad subcontractors doing work on our house that were constantly making mistakes like taking out lighting that wasn't being replaced (even after we told them so), installing the wrong tile even after going over all the tile and instructions, building unlevel walls, etc. There was very little supervision of these idiots and when we complained to Maxum, we kept being told what great work they've done on other jobs. After several weeks of this, they finally acknowledged the bad work being done and brought in new guys that did know what they were doing but they didn't get very far since they ran out of tile replacing all the bad work that we had to wait 2 more weeks for them to get replacement tile.
The communication has been awful, they don't contact me until after repeated calls/ texts to them. We're never told in advance what's being done when, how long things are going to take, when we're getting our house back. It's been a very frustrating experience! I hope we will be happy with the results when/ if they finally get done. I don't know how they have managed to stay in business 20 years of they is how they operate. I don't recommend them at all.

Huge shout out to Tom (plumber) who came to our house today to fix a clog in our line that was causing the toilet to back up into the shower. He was efficient and knowledgeable and was in and out in about a half hour -- leaving a clean, flowing drain for us! I just contacted PJH yesterday to report this plumbing issue, so I was thrilled by how quickly they and Tom came to our rescue!

The work was done with great care and workmanship. The quality was excellent and the job was done on time and within budget estimates.

We hired Home Concepts to help us remodel our bathroom and we couldn't be happier with the final results! They were with us every step of the way from our initial meeting, through selections, into the demo, and installation. They have a very professional staff with in-house workers in every trade. I cannot wait to show off our new design. I would highly recommend using them!

Paul oversees a skilled, reliable and exceptionally competent team with complete integrity. My husband and I have lost count of renovations done on our home over 33 years. Neoteric Builders is the only company that has performed exactly as they said they would, given us a quality of product beyond our extremely particular expectations, surprised us by addressing any issue before we had a chance to ask and will actually make us miss them now that we've wrapped things up. An unreserved recommendation from us!

Not only is their workmanship of great quality, but they are people you can trust which is so important when opening your home (literally, walls, ceiling, flooring, all of it)! Many crews can do the job, but few do it with the integrity, commitment, and smile that the AZ Neighbor team does it with. We will continue to use them on any of our house projects (and we’ve had many).

Got a walk-in shower for my grandparents who have had the same original bath since they purchased their home back in 1987. The installers were professional and the work was beautiful, what a change and for the best. My sister and I loved their bath so much we decided to upgrade ours which is getting put in next week.

When Republic West remodeled my master bathroom, I was spoiled but did not fully appreciate it until I employed a landscape contractor to remodel my outside patios. The latter never gave a specific schedule or followed the original timeline, dragging a two-week job into five weeks. So, when I decided to remodel my kitchen, laundry and second bathroom all at once, I was eager to select Republic West again. I even requested the same team of designers, project manager and sub-contractors. Further, I trusted them so much that I was deliberately out of town for the first two weeks to avoid the demo process.

Steve’s attention to detail in project design meant that as the cabinets were put in place, they not only fit the space but my expectations and needs. One of the joys of renovation is including new, practical kitchen innovations. His recommendations are the highlights of my new workspace. Designer Kathy understood my overall goals and décor style, guiding my choices toward the desired aesthetic. Republic West gives full disclosure of job details and responsibilities so that clients understand the financial realities as well as the detailed specs. Those are onsite throughout the process, facilitating transparency throughout this dynamic process. Watching the project develop from concept on paper to reality was an instructive process.

Knowing that this project would disrupt my life more than a single bathroom, it was important to me to have assurance that the process would be as interactive as possible. RW gave that to me in spades. Remodeling the most essential hub of a home tests one’s ability to anticipate and problem-solve through the short term displacement of food preparation space and laundry. Before the project began, RW worked with me to set up an alternate food station to ease that challenge. They also reconnected the washer/dryer between the demo and laying of the tile. From design to the final walkthrough, Garth, the project manager, kept me informed, allowing me to anticipate decision points, and was proactive throughout the process.

All of the subcontractors were courteous and respectful of my privacy and property. Those who work for Republic West are efficient experts who are also artists. Slobo and his team laid the tile so I always had a path for entry to the house and rooms. Further, he was especially creative with the transition between the tile and wood floor, giving me the smooth, contemporary look that I wanted. When one cabinet did not meet my criteria, Steve adapted it until I got all the space and access I needed.

With any project, there are a few glitches, unforeseen delays and potential cost overruns. You have to go into renovation with specific goals in mind, and, more importantly, patience, flexibility and a generous spirit. Most of that is to help you understand the true complexity of this kind of work and to teach you to cope with your tolerance for dust, disruption of your space, and impatience to cross the finish line. Take pictures every week so you can evaluate just how much progress has been made. Enjoy the process. When you are done, have a big party to show off your new home that reflects your personality.
