It has been said that “word-of-mouth” is one of the best forms of advertising. That being said, a good friend recommended Heart to me when my water heater failed. What an amazing experience! Within a few hours of my call, Master Plumber Doug Hammond showed up at my condo to assess the situation and give me some options. I received three options along with thorough explanations for each and recommendations based on several potential scenarios. Based on the options and recommendations I was quickly able to make an informed decision. Doug returned a few days later (after the new water heater arrived) and removed the defective water heater. Then there was a bit of a delay while we waited for two water damage companies to come and assess any potential microbial damage and send estimates for that repair if necessary. Once that was taken care of, Doug returned and installed the new water heater. The process of removing and replacing the water heater was clean and tidy. The turnaround time on this project was three days, and technically only two days taking into consideration the almost one-week water damage assessment delay. Doug is a consummate professional! He is friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and 100% all about customer service. His work ethic of doing the job right and doing it right the first time is unsurpassed! Throughout the entire process he answered my numerous questions with patience, honesty and an incredible sense of humor! It was an absolute pleasure getting to now Doug and a privilege to have him in my home for this project!I would also like to give a shout out to the numerous Customer Service folks I talked to throughout this project. She had called me to relight her pilot and there were complications which prompted the arrival of Larry. My technician, Arturo, was awesome! He explained everything to me completely about the service he was doing and even showed me how to connect and disconnect my evaporative cooler for next season. The last company I used to winterize my cooler didn’t flush the water line, so it had frozen and burst in multiple places. Arturo did a great job replacing the line and walking me through the whole process. I’ll definitely be using Brothers next time I need any maintenance done at my house!

We had a boiler failure that turned out to be a very complex job. We were lucky enough to get Alan Snyman, who is by far the most informed, passionate and driven technician one could hope for. Alan went above and beyond identifying all possible issues for our obscure model of tankless water heater / boiler and explained very step of the process, issues and next steps as it became clear that our issue was more complex than we had anticipated. In the end, Alan was able to repair our system over the course of two days at a price that we felt was very fair given the issues he encountered and the time he spend resolving them. Alan clearly values the customer relationship above all else and we will not use anyone but him for boiler work in the future.

We just had a new evaporative cooler installed by Anthony Garcia at Golden West. Anthony came by our house Tuesday morning and gave us a range of options, including repairing the existing 40 year old unit that a previous owner had mounted onto the wall of the house, central air or various evaporative cooler new install options. He was very thorough and went through all of the pros and cons to all options and we ultimately decided to go through with the option that would work best for us. Anthony was able to start work the following morning, installing a new cooler unit on the roof of our home. He and his assistant Alan were very respectful of our home while working and were available at any time to answer questions during the day. They worked late into the evening that day and Anthony was back at it the following day to get everything wrapped up for us. The new installation looks very professional and works perfectly and we are very happy that we chose Golden West for this upgrade. I would highly recommend this company and especially recommend Anthony Garcia for any cooling, heating or plumbing needs you may have. Not only do they do excellent work, but the customer service we received from start to finish has been some of the best we've had.
