William Wallace did a fantastic job. Had a bad breaker and he was able to replace it quickly and without much hassle or down time. Will most likely use them again to redo the entire panel once we are done with renovations

We were quoted $3250 today for a job that should cost in the $100-250(MAX) range. This company is similar to Morris Jenkins in that they are predatory - taking advantage of people who don’t know any better what these things should cost. I recommend almost anyone else. Do not fall for these exorbitant prices, do not use this company.Edit- editing only to say that the man who came out was very pleasant and respectable. It wasn’t his fault at all, this company is the one at fault and not the knowledgeable employees.

No Shorts have done multiple jobs for me including, re-rewiring electric to my pool that was done improperly by another electrician, relocating our washer and dyer, adding internet cabling for Xbox, and installing a green energy saving current regulator. They always do excellent quality work, are fast, efficient, and affordable. My only regret is not finding them sooner. Highly recommend.

Jeremy was great! Went above our expectations. The response from a company based out state was far better than the 2 local companies we contacted. Definitely will use Bates services again.

Edwin is great. Took care of multiple things around the house. Wired up our new pool pump and relay/automation integration. Also replace a couple breakers and wired up a z-wave wireless switch. Def recommend him. Nice and professional dude.

I was told when I booked it on the phone that there would be a $69 trip fee plus what they find when they get here. They arrived and told me about the trip fee and that the diagnostic fee is $469!! It would have been nice to know that up front. That is the BASIC diagnostic fee! The lady I booked it on the phone with surely knew that and they obviously don't tell people ahead of time. What happened to electricians just coming to the house and charging an hourly fee?? They ended up being here LESS than an hour! Our total cost was $569! Not happy with this company. Shop around and ask questions before booking someone. Next time I will book and independent electrician who just charges an hourly rate.
MY RESPONSE TO OWNER'S RESPONSE: You are NOT upfront about the pricing!! You should at LEAST tell someone when they call what the diagnostic fees START at and it won't be lower than that amount and could be more based on what you have going on. Also, why do you send two electricians? They were done with my job in less than an hour. That's overkill and adds to the ridiculous cost. I should have looked further down the reviews, someone else complained about this same issue. And you should at least apply the $69 trip fee toward the job if a customer agrees to have the work done!!

The electricians themselves are great, the owner and secretary are unprofessional. The warranty is a joke and they will charge you a service fee and hourly rate even if the product/job is under warranty. We spent a lot of money with them on a reno and then they charged service fees to come fix their faulty work that was under warranty. The electrician who is their employee even had to go to bat for us and argue that we should not be paying anything. Part of the hourly charge we were charged for included the electrician going to the store to grab a part. We paid our fees and thanked the electrician, but we will never be using them again. The customer does not come first with this company.

I was quoted twice as much with Acosta as what I paid with another vendor.

Arc installed my wired Ring Flood Light Cameras which included running new wiring and mounting boxes as we did not have existing flood lights. They were on time, very professional and did an excellent job! Thanks again.
