I had three outlets in my kitchen that had stopped working and contacted Mr. Sparky. Justin came out and after a thorough electrical inspection found I had a burned out outlet that affected the other two outlets. He was able to replace the outlet promptly and put my kitchen back in full service again. Justin was very personable, professional in appearance and demeanor and had called first and arrived promptly. I thought the service received was priced compatible. I felt very confident that the job was done right. Great overall customer service experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Justin and Mr. Sparky for any electrical needs.

Perry did a fantastic job-was punctual, polite, professional and respectful. Finished project is perfect, he went above and beyond to help me with an awkwardly placed ceiling fixture and came up with a great solution to minimize any damage to the paint- also took the time to make a trip to find matching hardware needed- will definitely use on time electrical in the future and will ask for Perry.

We called Bates for some work, after another electrician stopped showing up for the job. Pete was great very responsive, professional and took his time to a great job on our under cabinet lighting and other little electrical issues in our house. I wouldn’t hesitate to call Bates in the future.

Communication was great, Edwin was right on time within the 2 hour window we were given. We had a long list of things we needed an estimate on. Edwin was patient, took notes, had great suggestions and ideas for cost savings. He was able to give an immediate estimate on a couple of the needs, and fixed them on the spot. He set a realistic time expectation for the estimate on the rest of the work, and followed through on that. We'll be moving forward on the rest of the projects, and will definitely use again in the future.

Below is a picture of the flashing at the mast head. When brought to the electrician's attention, it was repaired (somewhat). Anyone who installs mast heads needs to know how to install the roof flashing that goes with it. Recommendation for improvement. Overall, from what I can see it was a good job. Got a quick quote. Company go the job done quickly. Lots of communication from the office staff about scheduling. Thanks.

Managed to get an appointment within an hour of calling for a non emergency issue and Matt called ahead, was on time and extremely professional.Job was spec'd and quoted and we agreed to the toilet repair and Matt was all done and gone within a few hours.Very happy with Michael and Son and will continue to use them going forward.

My neighbor hired Al to replace rotted siding and trim on the outside of the front of his house and install outside lighting and a new electrical outlet. I had been helping my neighbor (who is not able to work on his home) with some small projects on his home. I knew of Al's professional reputation and suggested my neighbor hire him which my neighbor did. This was a project my neighbor wanted done and I knew it was beyond my experience level and knowledge to attempt this on my own.

I was able to assist Al on some of the siding that needed an extra pair of hands. (I've done minor home repair and remodeling myself as a non-professional for 40+ yrs & some lay person's knowledge.) So, I was on site the entire time and was able to see Al's work through the entire process. While not a large job, Al treated his work with the importance and dedication as though it was a truly important job that he valued doing. (Al replaced about 100 sq feet of siding.)

I must say Al does incredibly excellent work!! He explained the reasons for some of his construction strategy which greatly impressed me with how well he thinks through projects like this. He works efficiently and demonstrates a very high standard of excellence!

The price was extremely reasonable for my neighbor to be able to afford to hire Al. My neighbor and myself both believe my neighbor got more than his money's worth out of this job! Excellent work & great value cost wise.

Called Bates Electric for a quote on panel replacement/upgrade and wiring (entire house rewired). Every other electrician I called refused to come out and look at the job until I gave them a deposit; they all wanted to charge me several thousand dollars before they even looked at the job, without having any idea what was needed. Bates came out, took a look around the house, and provided me with a very reasonable quote. Before I accepted it, they even found a mistake in an original drawing of my house that saved me several thousand dollars! This was my first time using Bates Electric and it won't be my last. Thank you!

I called because my AC was not blowing cold air and was 78 degrees at midnight. When i called at midnight they had sent Shannon over the first thing in the morning on a Sunday which was an incredible response time. She was courteous, knowledgeable and explained the issues and options very well. She made the repairs and replacements quick and provided an exceptional service. Also, made me aware of cutting back my trees and bushes around the AC units outside to prevent damage.

Have used them twice and on both occasions the service was exceptional. The first time was for electrical connection to tankless gas water heater.. on time and Jason did a great job. He is very personal and genuine. We discussed a generator and answered a lot of my questions. Mark came out and surveyed the job to be done and gave me a quote. I accepted the quote and this was a big job with lots of moving parts. Gas Piping, inspections, electrical. Duke energy, inspections, electrical inspections.... This process took 3 weeks to coordinate everything.. ARC was great and kept me informed all the way. Inspector stated their work was impeccable.. I signed up for the bi-annual service and now i am the proud owner of a Genrac 22kw generator that works like magic.. Jason, Mark and Kendel were just great to work with...

Update... got to use the generator for the first time today... 5 hour run and it started up, switched power and the shut down when utility power came back on. worked flawlessly.. I am very satisfied..
