Chris ( I believe his name was) came out on time and was able to figure out where the issue was( Duke Energy Issue) after Duke fixed there issue he came back out and replaced are bad breakers in garage and Justin installed surge protector so this issue won’t happen again from Duke Energy . Thanks for being so polite and patient with us and our kids. Great people!

Mr Crawford is a true professional. He called to give us an estimated arrival time and was perfectly on time. He then listened to our issues, assessed the problem, told us how he would fix it, and fixed it in very little time. After we paid (i.e. not on the clock) he stayed to listen to any questions / concerns we had. Without question we will work with Bates Electric and ask for Mr. Crawford again.

Used John for getting Tesla charger installed. Believe me I have never met anyone with such strong work ethic and be awesome at the same time. With everyone moving to electric cars finding the guy to the right thing is really tough. John, really takes time explain what he did so that you understand hiw it works. He did a phenomenal job in getting the charger installed in such period of time. Would recommend to go with him blindly. Deserves more than 5 stars..

They installed several replacement light fixtures, replaced an outlet, and added a whole house surge protector. On the plus side, the guy was polite and able to provide an estimate without delay. One the negative he (1) put in an 2-gang outlet with 1 white and 1 beige outlet; (2) did a messy job cutting the openings for the recessed lights that will require extra mudding and prep before painting; and (3) worst, he botched up the install of the surge protector by gnawing up the edge of the metal cover to the main box and overlapping the surge protector trim over the main trim at a bizarre angle. Let me add that our main is in the hallway, not hidden in a closet. I asked IRV to send someone else out to fix this mess but they insisted on sending the same guy out. I wanted a clean install of the surge protector and a new cover for the main. He leaves to get a new cover for the panel. Couldn't get a new panel cover (it is from the 1960s and its 8pm). So he has sawed off the edge of the cover. He would have installed that complete with the sharp burred edge if I had not checked and made him go grind it (sort of) smooth. Hope what I can't see (wiring in the wall/ceiling) is better than what I can see.

Roman is not licensed and does work without a license. When he needs a permit he uses the licence of a master electrician. This is illegal in North and South Carolina. Customers beware. Ask him for his Master Electrician license. Does not have one. Dishonest

Johnathon did a wonderful job adding a fan and light when there was nothing before and he installed outlets behind our tv! He was very professional and clean. No dust and no extra holes to patch. Thank you Jonathon :) We’ll definitely be recommending you to our neighborhood, friends, and family.

It's easier than I thought getting electrical work done with COVID and the semiconductor shortage. Anyway, Bates was excellent. The electrician knew his stuff and did not mess anything up. He got everything done a lot faster than I expected for a project as big as the one I had. I’d hire them again for another project.

Tony came to our home and seemed very sincere and honest. He called Union County Code enforcement and was informed, no permit was pulled for our 2015 installation; Therefore he could not repair our unit. I called Union County Code enforcement and was informed a permit was pulled. We also have a Carrier warranty. Tony was misinformed and adhered to his guidelines, and he did not charge us for coming out, but our air conditioner is still not working, so I called the original installer. Still like Acosta.

I had to have the outside panel replaced in my house and they were amazing
