Best House Repairs in Seattle WA

The technician was very unprofessional to deal with. He was resistant to my polite request to wear a mask inside my house. His first response was to deny that COVID exists and question me on why I was even requesting a mask. He asserted (incorrectly) that it wasn't legal for me to request a mask inside my home. When he did finally wear it, it was under his nose, defeating the purpose.

Secondly, I paid $217 for a one hour visit. At the time of scheduling the company's email to me explicitly stated that the visit would include troubleshooting and minor repairs. The issue turned out to be a faulty GFCI outlet which the tech diagnosed within 10 mins. He didn't bring a spare one with him, so he couldn't do the repair within that visit. If they make claims that minor repairs can be done as part of the visit, the techs should carry at least basic parts with them. I can't think of a more minor electric repair than an outlet replacement. Due to this omission on their part, I am forced to spend on another visit just to get the outlet replaced.

When I tried to discuss the issue with the management on the phone, the tech continually interrupted me saying I was trying to get him into trouble. He banged his iPad on my glass dining table. At that point, being uncomfortable with his aggressive behavior, I politely requested him to wait outside. He decided to leave instead.

I also found the management very unprofessional to deal with. They made assumptions about my intent and, instead of responding to my actual questions, got rude with me. I ended up taking my business elsewhere for the repair work.

The morning the electrician was supposed to come to my house for an estimate of our project, he requested we send photos of the location where we wanted lights installed instead. He never followed through providing an estimate but merely suggested changing some nearby lights with brighter ones that I could do myself. He must not need the work I guess.

My agent recommend Merv Electric to me. Our doorbell transformer has a humming issue. They came here to estimate in 2 days and fixed it in the afternoon. They provided me with a fair price quote ($2xx). Great quality, quick, responsible and professional. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I was referred to Galaxy Electric & Solar by a friend. I called in the morning about a breaker that kept tripping and they came by same day and replaced some of the breakers and looked at a finicky outlet as well. Super nice, helpful and quick! Would recommend.

I called their dispatch two seperate times hrs apart yesterday for service... no technician called me back. I called again this am third time. Finally get a call back, the tech said he was busy till 4, maybe I should call someone else. Horrid customer service.

I was reccomended to Mister Sparky from one of my buddies. I just moved to Seattle so and have never needed an electrician before but the guys were great. Really professional and clean. Totally recommend them.

I setup an initial consultation/quotation visit with these guys as I needed to get power outside our house to install a security camera. Dave arrived on time to discuss my project and was extremely professional and friendly. We identified three options, including drilling into the house from the outside and junctioning into the existing electrical network, installing a new external outlet, or wiring the camera into our garage where we have existing outlets. He walked me through the pros and cons of each option and was very candid in his assessment. He then suggested the third option as being the easiest and least intrusive/expensive. Even though the appointment was just an initial visit and not actually when the work was to be performed, he ended up helping me out and finishing the installation free of charge as a neighborly gesture. I was very impressed and would highly recommend anyone to consult with them for electrical needs. I'll certainly call them again if I need something in the future!

Kudos to Jameson he showed up today at our place today he explained every problem in detail, patiently and he was honest through out the conversation to get an idea about what I need to replace/fix the plumbing problem in a long run. Definitely I recommend him.

While we didn't end up using Raincap for our electrical project, we had an excellent experience with them. They were professional when they came to our house for our quote, answered all of our questions, gave us a thorough and detailed bid, and followed up with us a couple of times. While I can't speak for their work specifically, they are a very pleasant company to work with.

Zack came over in record time. Gave us a great price, worked down some items too meet our budget. His office coordinated the schedule quickly and efficiently. We felt part of the process and his guys showed up on the day they said and stay late to finish the job. Zack's crew installed a 3 Phase panel in our shop and it was not a piece of cake. As a formal electrician I say the Exact Electric was excellent at execution, timing, pricing and knowledge. Thanks team!
