Long story short, they charge by the hour so make sure you know what your needs really are before investing. In my case, a bunch of time got spent on an outlet update that I might have used a different method had I been more aware of my ask.

We had a new outlet installed for an induction stove by Exact Electric, about 2 weeks before the stove came. When the stove was delivered, the new outlet didn't work; the breaker kept tripping. The delivery guys didn't know what to do but switch out the plug, and that didn't do anything.

Exact Electric to the rescue. After we left a voicemail, they called us back and sent an electrician out within 2 hours. It was the way the new 4 plug ground wasn't setup properly from the oven manufacturer. They fixed it within a half hour, no charge, covered under warranty.

Very appreciative and amazed at their responsiveness. Thank you, Exact Electric!

Eric from Exact Electric came with an outstanding attitude. We wanted quite a lot of work done, of which one part was making it so the kitchen light switch could control the kitchen hood lights as well as the ceiling lights. A different electric firm had come to bid on the work and said sorry, can't do this. Eric from Exact Electric came next and said Everything is possible and it just depends on cost. I have some good ideas on how to make it work. This is exciting. I'll be planning out ideas tonight.

The people at Exact are all around good citizens. Any aspect of residential construction (including the business and accounting side of things) is really hard, nothing is the same, every house, every client, every project is different. The thing about exact is there depth of people and experience to navigate the complexities they built up over the years. Larissa the scheduling coordinator is detailed oriented and makes sure everything is ready to go for the team, that they understand the assignment and client and project goals and helps the team quickly and efficiently provide good service and value to the clients. In short, she's the glue between what the clients need and what the team needs to be successful. If Zach the owner needs to weigh in on something, he's a quick problem solver and coaches his team of leaders on thinking strategically toward providing efficient and seamless service through constant systems refinement and staff training. Although they have new people, they also have a lot of long term employees which is so valuable. If they make a mistake, they make it right, learn from it, and move on quickly. I'm speaking as a remodeling contractor who has hired them for many projects as well as a home owner whose had them at my house.

I've worked with these guys for over 20 years now. Most recently they wired a new ADU on one of my properties. Still the best.

The scheduling staff were very good and easy to work with, the technician arrived as scheduled.

Unfortunately, he was the slowest worker I have ever seen. He was hired to replace our existing range electric prong with 3 wires to a 4 prong wire with a new ground, all the way to the panel. He took 12 hours to complete the job!! I watched him tack conduit into the drywall in the garage in one spot for over 10 minutes! The work was begun on 02/20 and we still haven't been invoiced for the service, I think because he was missing a part (backordered he said) to be used in the breaker panel, and therefore the job remains unfinished. The work he performed was well done, and appears to be accurate, but I felt a more realistic estimate could have been provided by the scheduling staff.

As a comparison, we recently had other electrical work done, by a different company, for a new heat pump installation and that electrician really hustled and completed the running an entire new electrical wiring from outside the house the breaker panel in less than 4 hours.

I needed an electrical panel replaced on short notice. After calling several different electricians, Exact Electric exceeded my expectations in terms of price, communication, and service. Exact Electric provided a quote for my project within a few HOURS, whereas other electricians took days, over a week, and some never even got back to me. This was just a simple panel replacement and other companies were quoting 2x and even 3x the price that Exact Electric gave me for the same project. They completed the project & had it inspected by the city within 5-6 days from when I first reached out to them, which I thought was very rare since I've had other electricians tell me they were booked out for months. Very happy with the result, service, price, and timeliness of Exact Electric.

They responded promptly after we had a weather-required postponement. The electrician was friendly, communicative, and efficient. I haven't yet seen the bill, so I don't know how the cost came out, but I was more than happy with the quality of the service.

We needed electrical heating vents repaired and had gotten either the runaround or ghosted entirely by many other businesses all winter, leaving us with a very cold main floor. Exact Electric was the only company that continued to respond to our initial request. They were booked pretty far out but at this point we would take what we could get so we got on the schedule. Luckily they kept their word about looking out for earlier availability they could get for us and let us know about a cancellation so we were able to have them come out much sooner than expected, within about a week of initially signing our contract.
We were a little nervous about the required minimum hours as we weren't sure how long the repair would take but they did end up using enough of it that it wasn't an issue. And we'd rather have the repairs done than continue waiting who knows how long.
The repairman was a bit late but he did call us to let us know so I don't hold it against him since we were kept in the loop. Repairs were completed and cleaned up same-day, including vacuuming up any dust and patching the wall where an older, larger thermostat used to be. The only thing left to us, understandably so, is to paint the new patched area.
Invoice was sent some days later via email and very easy to pay online.
Ultimately happy with the work they did, and appreciative of them looking out for windows in their schedule for us and letting us know when they were running late. Very professional in all aspects.

Due to the complex nature of our electrical project, it took a long time to get started. But I do appreciate that their team was thoughtful on how they wanted to approach the project so that they could be as efficient as possible with their billable time. Once the project began, I was beyond happy with the results. Communication was nice and clear, their finish work was professionally done, Carlos was thorough with repairing electrical problems we were having around the house and thinking long term about his repairs so that they would last. I would highly recommend Exact Electric and they'll be my regular electrician in the future.

I had Exact Electric install track lighting in my store. The project was supposed to be pretty straightforward, but we ran into some road blocks along the way that required more work. James and the crew stuck by and finished the project until the end and were 150% reliable. I really appreciate the work that Exact Electric did in our home. We came up with a wishlist of things to fix:
* Run cat6 ethernet to a few places in the house (tv, desktop computers)
* Add some new circuits to the kitchen, so we can run our espresso machine and microwave at the same time without popping breakers
* Add a new outside dedicated circuit
* Add some overhead lights in our living room

They did a great job. Their scheduler worked with us to find times their electrician was available. Their electrician did a great job keeping us informed on when he would arrive. He also did a great job containing all the dust from drilling. All the work is beautiful. I would definitely call them first if I had more work to do.

I had a great all around experience with Exact Electric. They wired a new hot tub for us and added an outdoor outlet plus an outdoor light fixture. The electrician was great, extremely nice and thorough. Everything passed inspection on the first go as well. I’d definitely use them again.

I found Exact Electric through an online search. The reviews were so positive I had to give them a call to see if they could help me with a 1,300 sqft addition on my home. Chad, one of Zach’s estimators, showed up in record time, was knowledgeable, professional and communicated well and frequently. I had unique needs/requirements that many of Exacts competitors were unwilling to meet. The entire Exact staff from those in the office helping me with project estimation, scheduling and billing to the those in the field doing the electrical work were incredibly friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, punctual and delivered high quality work. I have high standards and typically find myself leaving tough reviews, but with these guys, they deserve high praise. My only regret is that I never had an opportunity to meet Zach. I will do business with them again. Exact is highly recommended.

The work went well. The electrician was able to find and fix my issue. My only problem would be that I'd asked for an estimate to replace the light fixture and I'm still waiting almost two weeks later.

I had a new light fixture installed in the living room and 2 other light fixtures moved to a different location in the other rooms. Andrew was very professional, he verified where the studs where located and installed the box next to stud in the ceiling. He only cut the ceiling where he needed to thus reducing the ceiling repair work. I had him change the old light switches and install new dimmer switches as well. He spent the whole day to do the work which I felt could have been done in a shorter amount of time but looking back at the amount of work he did I now think it was fair. However I was surprised he didn't tell me that he had to come back to install arc fault breakers and I only found out after calling the office. Overall the quality of work was very good (compared to other electricians I have used in the past), communication can be improved and I will use their services again and do recommend.

Exact Electric installed 5 ceiling lights and a ceiling fan for us. They were on time, professional and did a great job. The communication along the way from booking of the appointment to the day of was great.

The electrician dealt with some old wires, updated a switch, reoriented an outlet for a new range, and converted a can light to a box for a pendant. He also investigated the possibility of some additional work that was determined to require too much time with unknown results. He came prepared to cover all work ares, protected the floor under his ladder, cleaned up thoroughly and left me with pictures of an attic space where I need other work done. As usual, I was extremely happy with their work.

Switch Electric installed two new outdoor quad outlets on a new circuit, one indoor outlet in my utility closet for future installation of networking equipment, and ran network cable throughout my home. This was billed as time & materials with a journeyman and apprentice electrician, and was at least $1000 cheaper than the next-highest bidder! The work was done professionally and passed first inspection after one minor DIY fix (adding a cable staple). They required no intervention from me after giving the initial instructions, and they cleaned up perfectly after themselves, leaving only a few minor holes in the drywall that they pre-approved with me prior to doing so and only after exhausting all other options.

We've had Exact Electric work at our home several times -- and all were 5-star experiences. Very quick scheduling -- and the electricians stayed on the job past quitting time to make sure the work was done to our satisfaction. Quality work and reasonable prices. Highly recommend.

I have used Exact Electric for a couple of jobs. One was wiring my new print shop location during a new build-out and the other was to install a 225 amp sub-panel at a new storage building. Fantastic response time in an emergency situation. We found out at 6 am our power wires were fried when a street level transformer was hit by a car and the transformer burst into flames. We needed a crew to rewire from our business to the new transformer that PSE was installing & rewiring. They did a great job, got it done in good time, and our inspection went without a hitch.

Zack came over in record time. Gave us a great price, worked down some items too meet our budget. His office coordinated the schedule quickly and efficiently. We felt part of the process and his guys showed up on the day they said and stay late to finish the job. Zack's crew installed a 3 Phase panel in our shop and it was not a piece of cake. By far the most professional contractor we have dealt with so far at our remodel. This was a complete residential rewire. The team worked to find some creative, less invasive ways to rewire our 1928 tudor, we really appreciated the thoughtfulness. Zach did a great job of putting LED into our fluorescent light fixture. He was prompt, professional, didactic and friendly. He was also very covid-friendly and wore a mask while inside.

Added wiring for two sump pumps. Electrician did a great job (attic and crawlspace work), their office coordinated inspection with L&I, everything went well!

The company was extremely up front about the costs, time and effort it'd take to install 4 ring cameras. They even stayed overtime to help me debug some camera related issues. 10/10 would recommend them to anyone. The prices were also extremely reasonable.

Ultimately, the work done was fabulous. We needed a large amount of assorted work done on our newly-purchased home (ceiling fan install, GFCI updates on lights, fixing up exposed wires, breaker update and inspections, entryway light fixture change-out, moving/installing outdoor electrical outlets and adding switches, install outlets, install light timers, fixing outlets with reverse-polarity, among other small tasks). All the work was solid & up to code, & a follow up call was addressed quickly & appropriately. Getting the electrician scheduled was hard; there were numerous cancellations & rescheduling, not showing up on time, & the delays & number of separate appointments I had to make (6+) made things frustrating as a customer. I wish that I was proactively updated on arrival changes. Overall, my issues were clerical. It was hard when they did not show up on time (and not calling to inform me; I had to call the main number to find out when they would be arriving for an 8 am appointment), especially since the electrical work was located at different locations around the house...and I didn't know if I could use the kitchen or do laundry, since I knew they would have to cut the power at different times. While the work was great, I had issues with so many appointments and having to reschedule and wait around for them to show up, etc., in addition to not being proactively informed about scheduling changes. I would still recommend them, but I would advise you to be flexible in your availability and be prepared to call for updates if you want to make any plans around their scheduled appointments.

We've used Exact Electric before and were satisfied and used them again to replace a fuse box and ground outlets. They were prompt, professional and polite. Really a great group of people in the field and in the office. We'll use them again for sure.

I'm a general contractor and I use Exact Electric for all of my projects. They have rewired old knob & tube, wired for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, home office, and garages. I have also used them on commercial jobs. They wired a school, various retail stores, and office build outs for us. They are easy to work with, clean, and professional. Best of all, they are very price competitive and will do whatever is needed to satisfy the customer.

David and his apprentice (Scott I believe) swapped out our panel. They were exceptionally professional and left the area very clean. They were also very helpful for coordinating with the city inspector. I will definitely go back to Exact Electric for future electrical needs!

They could schedule my work without a lot of 'oh, we're too busy to talk to you', were upfront on costs and services, the service worker came exactly when scheduled and was thorough and professional. I will use them again, and recommend them highly.

I called Exact Electric to install a new automobile lift for our business. They came out and installed the next day - fantastic service - very neat and clean - very affordable. They are my go to source for all of my electrical needs, both commercial and residential.

Exact Electric came out and estimated grounding our condo electical. Worst case they would potentially have to run grounding wire out to 12+ outlets throughout a 1400 sq ft condo. We expected and were prepared for a $5-10k project. They found a simpler solution however using our grounded conduit, and estimated verbally ~$1000 for the project. Asked when they would deliver written estimate so we could get work started, they told us early next week.

Early next week came and gone.

Over the course of the next four weeks, we called to follow up on the estimate and schedule work, and EE repeatedly committed that they would get back to us with contractors being scheduled 1-2 weeks out... and then not get back to us. I followed up by text, by email, and by phone. I talked to the estimator, and then on later calls to the electrician contractor - only to get the run-around. They both told me it was as simple as sending an already-written email on multiple occasions only to have them not follow-through. There's been no unhappy communication between us - just me: hey when will you send over that estimate, EE: oh its all written up I just need to hit send; will do that today, me: okay will look out for it, and then never arrives; seriously multiple times over. I've lost count how many times I've called and followed up. This is a terrible way to treat someone - leading them on, running them around.

Zach has done work for me and I refer Zach out to clients on a regular basis. Zach is one of the highest quality professionals I know in the industry. I worked with them twice, first time with Darren and then with Chris. They were good, knowledgeable and professional. It was troubleshooting for some general issue like a panel breaker that was tripping, some weird noise in some switch, troubles with some outlets not working. Would and will work with them again.
