Mr. Electric of Greater Seattle

Zach was very professional and friendly. He helped installed several light fixtures, and replace the GU24 cannister lights with new and improved LED wafer lights on the first floor of my house. He spent the time trying to figure out the brightness of the LED lights, and also spent time making sure everything was perfect. Zach made this process seamless, and painless. He polite and friendly nature is a rarity in any business. I would recommend Mr. Electric (Zach) to any of my family or friends.

I do not recommend them because they use preset pricing. I was told up front the the cost would be $600 but the job took 2 hours including clean up. Most electricains charge close to $200/hr and maybe a minimum of $250 or some sort of travel fee. Not asking how they charge was my mistake. In the future I will only work with someone who charges by the hour. Hourly pricing is the only fair way to go. If the job goes quickly you don't pay as much. If a job should be complicate and take a while it is only fair to pay for the time required. It is not fair to pay a lot for a short amount of work spent. Next time be sure to only hire someone who charges hourly. I will say that the work was fine.

The owner of Me.electric is super nice ! We had some concerns and questions in the beginning and the owner went out of his way and called us to address our concerns and help us understand better! He addressed all of our questions in such a polite nice way ! We have never had such amazing customer service like that ever ! He’s pretty dope for that ! It made us feel a lot better ! They are awesome !!! I highly recommend them ! The owner really cares about the customers !!

I would recommend, 10/10. We have had Norman with Mr. Electric out to our hospital twice. He has been very prompt, kind, knowledgeable, and cleaned up well after both jobs. We will be using Mr. Electric again if we have any future electric or fan issues!

Rick Lartz did an excellent job updating the electrical wiring in our older home. He was knowledgeable, professional, efficient and explained what he was doing along the way, which I appreciated. I have a lot of confidence in his work and am very happy with the results. I recommend.

Mr. Electric was quick to respond to my call where I needed a electrical subcontractor. They sent out a very qualified technician named Rick. Rick was positive, easy to talk with, knowledgeable and thorough in his approach to completing the repairs that we needed on this particular job.
5 stars is an understatement of my experience with the company and staff.

We had Mr. Electric come out to do an electrical panel repair and install an electrical switch to the outside of our garage in preparation for an outdoor generator install. James Lowe and Rick Lart could not have been nicer, more professional, or open to any and all questions this senior citizen asked them. I would recommend them to anyone looking for electrical support in their homes.

Charged 5k to pull one wire, 30ft with all the holes that were pre-drilled in open walls. Wire cost (at retail) was less than $500. Total time on jobsite, 2 hours. Had permit pulled and they pulled their own permit (I have to fight for a refund of my permit). Would not attend inspection for their work (I have to attend inspection and answer questions regarding their work) and demanded payment in full (for work that I don't know will pass inspection). I can find attorneys who will work for a fraction of the cost.

Replaced two light switches and told me the prices of more electriacal work would tell anyone who need electrica get mr electric

Electrician was friendly and professional. He explained what he was doing and some potential causes for the issue we were having.

Came out to wire up and install new ceiling fan. Thought about trying to do myself but glad I didn't. Quick service, great price. Would use again!

The technician Rick was friendly, considerate, and (from my very limited electrical knowledge) provided great service installing a bathroom junction box and fixing the switch to our patio light. Following the service, a representative from Mr. Electric followed up to see how the service was. When I mentioned lightly that I had been concerned about requiring a permit for the work, the feedback was immediately passed to a manager who contacted me (and the city) to confirm the need for a permit and the cost applied. Overall, very happy with the work and especially the high level of customer service. Will definitely use in the future.

We had an elderly relative in the Seattle metro that was in desperate need of getting her power back on after a storm a while back. We called Mr Electric of Greater Seattle and got everything set up and they went out and fixed the issue. Our relative cant stop talking about how nice and corteous they were. Fantastic company to work with from start to finish. Appointment desk staff were extremely responsive, got me in quickly, and kept me up to date on my technician's arrival status. My technician, Scott, was not only a knowledgable electrician, he was also honest and a good human being. He went above and beyond to rectify my issue and wouldn't even accept a tip. This was my first time using Mr. Electric and I will definitely be using them again. Wholeheartedly recommend this company.

Employees were easy to work with, and listened to our issues and helped solve our problem. They did an electrical remodel of our home based off our needs. Work was very good quality, I saw the electrical work being done everything looks neat and professional and left our walls intact. Really appreciate the quick response and professional service. I had posted a 1 star review due to cancellation of an appointment which was urgent to me (3 smoke detectors failing and screaming Fire! in the middle of the night and chirping low battery all day despite brand new batteries.)
The owner, Jim Kleiser, contacted me, determined to make things right.
He did.
Technician Scott came over after hours and did an excellent job of putting in new alarms.
This is a sign of a great company, active in resolving issues and keeping customers.

If you are ever working with Mr. Electric, a whole-heatedly recommend to partner with Mr. Norman A. and his team of electricians. I recently bought a new house and he provided me a detailed inspection surfacing issues that a general inspector did not notice at first sight. This information was instrumental in my negotiations with the sellers. Afterwards, they helped me replace an outdated Murray panel and update the wires connecting to the city meter, bringing my house up to code.
Mr. Norman was extremely professional and helped me understand my needs and make better decision for my house along the way. I value this immensely in any service provider. The work was completed in less than two days and I could readily move in.
On a separate note, Mr. Electric office has not been equally supportive (hence: not a 5-star experience!). They missed informing of delays in our appointments, and have poorly followed up on my phone requests (I think I spoke with 4-5 different people and usually had to call back before obtaining the information i needed). Overall, good price and great delivery. I would recommend working with them.

I left a message over the weekend and got a call Monday morning to set up an appointment for the following day. I set-up an appointment for Wednesday and they showed up on time. In addition I received email confirmations along with a picture of the technician which was great. They were friendly, professional, wore booties to keep the carpets clean, and vacuumed the work areas leaving it cleaner than when they got here. They did an awesome job. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars, is I thought they were a bit expensive.

Won a coupon for these people and have zero use for it so I figured I'd give them at least a 3 star because they advertised where I was able to use my points for a drawing

I have to express how satisfied I am with Mr Electric of Greater Seattle. I've been a member of their Advantage Club for a number of years but rarely need to ask them for a repairman. I did recently need an electrician and, after the service, I consulted with the receptionist, because I thought the fee was too high for the time the electrician was at my home. She LISTENED to what I said and immediately forwarded my call to the manager. He soon called back, agreed with my opinion, and refunded a very fair amount of money. I was so impressed they actually LISTENED to my complaint and took action right away. I will ALWAYS use Mr Electric for any electrical needs because I know they are fair and truly pay attention to the customer needs. Thanks, Mr Electric!!

Arranged for a quote on installation of a $500 ceiling fan and was quoted nearly $5000 for installation. My ceiling is high 18ft with electric already available and requires a man lift but still out of this world.

Upgrade to add 240v 50a for electric car charging and whole house surge protection.

Mr Electric has been working with me over the last 6 months with my ongoing projects throughout the area. I truly appreciate the promptness, and professionalism. I have had them tackle multiple projects, and they have always meet all of my electrical needs. Very please with their services.

Man what a blessing this company was tonight! My power went out for half of my house on CHRISTMAS EVE! Couldn't imagine having to go through Christmas with no power. An emergency electrician was dispatched and fixed the problem within minutes and since it was such an easy fix it was at no charge! What a blessing! Thanks Scott you made my families Christmas all the more special ❤ I will definitely use this company in the future!

Absolutely ludicrous pricing. I had Mr. Electric provide me a quote on replacing a bathroom exhaust fan. They said the fan cost about $200, a permit $150, and it would take 2 hours. The total quote comes to $1400! What crazy world do they live in where 2 hours of work is $1000?! Don't even bother with these guys, they're clearly trying to take advantage of people on pricing.

Only gave 2 stars instead of 1 because they were courteous, professional, and put on shoe covers.

Edit: the owners have responded basically insinuating that because I didn't actually hire their service in the end, my review is invalid. To quote, Thank you for the review of services you did not use. If they would re-read my review, they might notice that I have complained about their high pricing, and not on the work they have done. How many grandma's have agreed to pay them $500/hour for electric work?

I appreciated how friendly and professional the electricians, Sanjeev and Krishan were. They did great work and I appreciated them checking in with me on final placement of the lights. They took care to meticulously clean up. I would definitely call Mr. Electric again!

I am a residential home owner and suddenly all of my major appliances seemed to be getting partial energy with dimming lights and turning off. I spoke with 3 different electricians and Mr. Electric was the only electrician to advise that it sounded like a power company issue. Another electrician was scheduled to come out later in the week for a hefty fee but didn't mention that the issue could be a power company issue. Mr. Electric also mentioned that they could come out the next day if it wasn't a power company issue. I then called PSE and they came out and discovered it was their issue, they installed a fix same day saving all of the food in my fridge and keeping my house warm. I appreciate the level of expertise that pointed me quickly in the right direction. Thank you!

They charged me 20k for shoddy work.

Rick and Zach had to troubleshoot an old panel and replace it with a new one. Showed up right on time. Got the job done ahead of schedule. Very friendly.

Called with an emergency 3 hours before having a houseful of people on a Saturday afternoon. Of the 5+ electricians I called, they were the only ones who called me back. He was kind enough to walk me through the problem on the phone and fix the problem myself. I was able to have my party with the lights on which was very helpful. He could have easily fixed the problem in a matter of minutes and charged hundreds of dollars. He chose not to do that which should allow people to trust. Will call again but hoping I won't need to. Thank you again.

Hooray for a company that actually shows up on time! Thank you Mr. Electric for also hiring personable employees who are easy to talk to and make you feel comfortable in your own home...that's a huge plus for this stay-at-home mama. I will gladly do business again with Mr. Electric & I'll be sure to tell my friends & family.

I called 4 other companies before calling Mr. Electric. 3 didn't answer the phone and the 4th was a jerk and hung up on me. Mr. Electric came out the same day, fixed my problem and was out of there. All under 4 hours from my initial contact. Amazing company!!

Mr. Electric scheduled an appointment to meet me at 8:30AM in the morning. They were a no show. When I called, they told me their electricians were tied up at other jobs. The woman I spoke with was rude and unapologetic. I asked why they did not call me to let me know and she just said “What do you want me to do? I can’t just pull them off of other jobs.”

I've contracted their service for several commercial projects in Seattle and Portland and am very pleased with their response time, quality of work, and staff. They are thorough and offer true turn key solutions.

Terrible communications, expectation-setting, and cleanliness. Wasted my time with two appointments that they couldn't make, were not knowledgeable about the products they were selling, left my toilet filthy with no toilet paper. Don't hire these clowns.

I would NEVER hire this company again. Their work (replacing 10 electrical outlets) has yet to pass permit inspections. The cost was very expensive.

Now, I am getting the run around trying to get them to fix the substandard work.

Do yourself a big favor and do not use this company.

Great professional technician. Issue wasn’t fixed in first visit so they came back out a 2nd time and charged me their minimum visit cost again. Good experience but unfortunate they didn’t accommodate the cost when they had to come back out and revisit the issue.
