Economy Wiring replaced our ancient fuse box with a fully modern breaker box, including an exterior emergency shut off and an exterior outlet. Their employees were extremely courteous and respectful of our property. They did everything possible to minimize the need for drywall repairs, left VERY LITTLE mess, and even remembered to protect my dogs by closing the gate behind them, even if they were just going to their truck for a minute. They were also very friendly and polite when asking for access to a closet or other space. They showed up on time, and worked efficiently and quickly. I was completely comfortable having them in my house and will call them again in the future.

We ordered a gas fireplace insert from Economy Wiring. We are very pleased with the installation, service, and reliability of the unit. Our dog is especially fond of the heat it generates. It has a remote control and always works! Yes to Economy Wiring!

I had Economy Wiring come and install two new gas fireplace stoves. They had to extend the gas piping and punch it through the wall. They also had to cut through the wall in two places for the vent ducting. The installation was great and very thorough. All sealed, square, aligned and looking good! Tyler and his helper (so sorry I forgot his name) were fast, courteous, always wearing their masks, and the clean up was excellent. Pricing was super fair and Tyler spent extra time making sure I fully understood the fireplaces and how they should work. I had purchased the new fireplaces somewhere else and had installed an aftermarket thermostat prior to them installing the fireplace and I had installed it incorrectly. Tyler knew exactly what to do and didn't give me any grief about having to fix my error. I'd say that he is a true salesman and has all the best qualities of customer service, repair technician, carpenter, electrician and gas piping plumber! A new addition to Economy and a good one!

I had Tyler from Economy Wiring install a fireplace, outlet, and a bathroom exhaust fan. He's been excellent - always on time, great communication, and as a person is very courteous, friendly, and professional. The price seemed very reasonable, he broke down the quote pricing by item (fireplace), and worked with our other contractor (fireplace surround) and coordinated with him to make sure our fireplace was installed and set up perfectly. Tyler was honestly great and I will definitely go back with him again the next time I need any electrical work done!

We have a Monessen gas fireplace, purchased from and installed by a local company, that was not working properly. Because the company that we purchased it from had proved its incompetence in both installing and servicing the unit, when it began to malfunction - turning off after as little as a few minutes - I wanted to find a repair service that was more competent and reliable. After calling a number of places and being told that “we only service what we sell,” “we don’t service that brand,” or, “we’re happy to help you, but our first available appointment is four months out,” I struck upon Economy Wiring and Tyler Tillman. Tyler was fantastic - he was able to successfully diagnose the problem and repair our fireplace and did it in a timely fashion. Although it took two trips (not his fault but mine) to get it to 100%, at no time did I question his ability to get the job done or his competence in doing so. If you have a need for a gas fireplace repair, I would highly recommend Economy Wiring. I’ve dealt with a lot of technicians and repair people over the years, and none of them were more capable than Tyler. And based on my experience, I have to believe that everyone at Economy Wiring is cut from that same rare cloth. Highly recommended.

I have to say I was quite impressed with Economy Wiring after calling them to replace our electrical panel. They were the third quote I had received for the job and were the only company that I felt priced fairly. The first company quoted over $2000 higher!! Ed was extremely helpful in providing an honest quote and his team was able to start work the next day. The team did great work quickly. I will be returning to use EW for my next job!

I called several heating and air establishments in need of a new furnace and air conditioning unit and Economy Wiring Company had the best offer by far. Economy Wiring exceeded all expectations and did a fantastic job. Workers were here on the job everyday they said they would be, very friendly, and did a very professional job. Best of all I love my new furnace and look forward to using my air conditioner this summer. Great experience all around!

My girlfriend hired Economy Wiring to upgrade to 200AMP service at our house as well as replace the existing panel board with a new panel board that allows to add electricity to an area in the house that had none including 220 and light switches and receptacles. They left without finishing the work, the work they did do was not what was needed, and they didn't return calls or emails. We had to hire a new electrical company to correct their work and finish, adding thousands of dollars of cost. She called me several times while they were there and Im kicking myself for not running back to the house. While there, Economy Wiring even cut one of my extension cords in half out by the outside power box which must have been in their way, rather than just reaching over and unplugging it, literally within an arms reach. When trying to speak with Economy Wiring after they left, they did not return calls or emails to address the problems and they didn't even send a corrected bill with the work they didn't finish removed. The only time we heard from them was several months later when they demanded payment out of the blue. They had never sent her a bill until then so we thought they had just gone away knowing their work was shoddy. Instead They waited to demand payment until the last few days they are allowed to file a lien in WA state against a home owner for non payment which they did. These guys are real losers. WA state does not protect consumers from shoddy electrical companies like Economy. They didn't finish the work, didn't return calls or emails to fix it, and didn't send a bill subtracting the work they didn't do, but waited several months, demanded payment a couple days before their lien deadline, and then filed a lien against her home which is terrifying easy for a contractor to do. Summary, Work done wrong, work not finished, damaged items on the property, no follow up, and then demanded payment months later lying about the situation.

Fraud! Do not use this company! My husband Johnnie requested a quote to repair a wood stove fireplace in or basement. We were not home initially when they arrived but our cousin let them in. My husband arrived 15 mins later and the fireplace was lit and running. We signed the paperwork hoping the issue was fixed correctly (although it was supposedly fixed before we agreed to have them fix it). When the two guys left we turned off the wood stove and it would not restart l. My husband then called the older guy back who supposedly fixed it and he said the Igniter was working when he left. He asked us to throw a match inside to light it. Hmmmm that’s why they “repaired” it so fast before we arrived. They never fixed the igniter, they started it with a match and pretended like it was fixed to steal our $179.00.

This should be a zero star review. My first review did not post, so here's what happened: we ran into an emergency situation where my heater would not run (I have two small boys) I called this company at 12:40 pm. They said a tech would call me. I called back at 1:40 pm, and was told a tech would call me. I called back at 5:30, 6:30 and 9:30. Nothing. I asked them not to come at this point.
I called this company back this morning hoping they would, make right what was wrong, a quote from their responses to these reviews Instead I was told, we're not going to be doing work for you. We don't work on Sundays. Well their answering service told me they did. So please, for your own sanity go elsewhere. These guys are absolutely awful, and beyond rude, in fact Tyler told me I

WONDERFUL COMPANY! Economy wiring came out to FIX a new panel/mast problem that two previous electricians had messed up. Everyone at Economy was extremely nice, went the extra mile to make it all perfect!! I really can't say enough good things about them, and I will never call another electrician again. I learned the hard way that I should have called Economy first.

My husband and I had this company come to our home to install some wiring for our new stove. First, they were 3 hours late. Mind you, they came to our home at 3:30pm...Second, they had no supplies in their van, not even a wrench. So the 2 hours of them even starting any work, they spent it at Home Depot getting supplies. And third...they quoted us between $1,300-$1,400 for the work. By the time they got my oven to start it was 9pm. Late. They said the man who is in charge of taking the payment was not in the office cause it was so late, so they will send me the updated invoice thru email and we can pay over the phone. We were happy that night. They were happy. They left all good. The next morning my husband woke up to a $1,999 invoice! Obviously we were shocked and angry, so we called and talked to the accountant. Supposedly, the men that did our work put the “time” that they went searching for supplies on their time cards when they knew they were not to. So they took that off. But as we were looking more and more at the invoice, we noticed that they marked up all the supplies 3X! A supply at Home Depot that was only $3.00, they were charging us $15.00!! So after many attempts at calling them, and telling them that this was not fair practice, they reluctantly got the invoice down to a price that we thought was fair! But not until after the owner said “We will get the invoice down to this price as long as you promise to NEVER CALL US AGAIN for any type of service to your home! We are shocked by this type of behavior from a supposedly 20 year long business. Never in my life have we ever had to deal with someone so nasty. So rude! The dishonesty your business has presented was by far the worst experience we have ever encountered! We will never call you again...you don’t have to tell us twice! The even sadder part was, when we FINALLY got the invoice, of course on their time table, it told us to pay by the end of the hour or they will put back the “discounted amounts” as full price. Who gives a customer an hour to pay after they’re the ones who messed up and tried scamming a customer out of money?!?! That’s right! I said scam! Your business is a target for the weak, a prey for the rich and you target and scam the innocent. The voice calls that we audio recorded would make anyone roll over in their grave. Karma will catch up one day.

First a 3 hour last minute reschedule, then a complete No Show....thanks for wasting the time of 3 people with jobs who took time off to be there and seemingly not caring one bit. Also-FYI-the Call Center setup you have is not very personable or good to deal with....it’s is also just too much. You seem to not care at all about a mutually respectful relationship with your customers. Good to know.

I called their dispatch two seperate times hrs apart yesterday for service... no technician called me back. I called again this am third time. Finally get a call back, the tech said he was busy till 4, maybe I should call someone else. Horrid customer service.

They tried to bill me twice! Paid my bill in full in October 2017 and just got an email stating that I still needed to pay my invoice (in April 2018). I checked my checkbook and bank account and it showed they cashed my check in October. Total scammers, beware!

We had them install a fireplace, the work was sub-par and the owners seemed to have no concerns about the quality of work. We do not recommend them for fireplace installs, go elsewhere.
