This was for a household generator, natural gas. Craig was our initial sales consultant and he was excellent. There were many issues with PSE and the gas supply calculations. It took a lot of time and perseverance for Craig. We are very appreciative.

The installation was also professional and flawless. Michael did the electric and I did not get the names of the natural gas/heavy lifting people. Unfortunate because they were top-notch and should also be acknowledged. They also said the installation went so well because Craig does excellent work up front, making the installation problem free.

DJ Houie came to our house after calling and letting me know that he could be here sooner than expected. After he arrived, he did an effective analysis and quickly took care of the situation.
I'm pleased to recommend him to others.

Check the number of complaints they have with the BBB. According to their bid, their work was Adding new switches and outlets in stair well, kitchen, customer location. They didn't replace the switch to the stair well and left the other outlets and switches just wired, with no actual outlets or switches! Some of them were also not put in the locations as shown in our drawings. Their contract also states Pay Schedule: 50% To schedule - 40% Trim - 10% Final Inspection. We paid 50% to schedule, they didn't do the trim (which is to install the outlets and switches) and then they charged my credit card in full without my permission. Their total was $4,950 for 5 1/2 hours of work which is about $900 per hour. Their response to my complaint to the BBB was a flat out lie. They said they finished their work and that we refused to let the inspector in. We allowed the inspector in and they failed the final inspection because they weren't done. Now we have to hire another company to finish their work. Total waste of time. I'm sure they'll post a response to this review that will not be truthful but the fact is they didn't fulfill their contract.

Used them years ago, great service. No complaints.
Now nothing but complaints, the workers show up late with no call. Had to cancel due to Brennan crew not showing up in a timely manner. My original sales guy was wonderful. This time I had a J. Curdy, he explained nothing really as to why, or suggestions. Said it would be 14 thousand dollars, I said ok. Due to schedule of Drs we needed to pre arrange this to meet schedules. I paid I. Gull got AC install, I expected they would show. Which they did late, with no call to let anyone know they were going to be late. Acted as if it was no big deal. Again Brennan failed not just once, but twice. 20 days later I am Re signing refund papers! In 20 days billing couldn’t even get the proper number. My salesperson had made a human error on the refund amount. So for the second or so time I’ve signed for my refund. This has been going on for 20 days- I just want my money back. This should’ve been done and handled by now. Everyone has an excuse- I just want my $ back! They’ve got down hill tremendously. I wouldn’t use them at any of my homes ever again based up this experience. Please look at the recent reviews.

Great professional service beginning with Todd who came out and assessed my home and helped me determine what would work best. This was through Costco and I am very happy with my purchase. Brennan Electric and it folks, Pat, Ryan and Mikey as well as several other folks were prompt, careful, cheerful and quick. The whole process took under 6 hours from arrival to departure. Very good for needing to work in a crawl space and pull wire under the house. When my local building inspector came he made the comment that Brennan always does good work so their work is easy to inspect and approve. Big thanks for great work and a wonderful experience with a very quiet system that doesn't interfere with patio conversations when it comes on.

We recently hired Brennan through Costco when our furnace stopped working. Even though the weather was getting colder, Dillon was able to schedule an install within a few days of contacting them. Their installers were polite and did a good job. They had the new furnace up and working in no time and it easily passed our city's electrical and mechanical inspections.

Hopefully we won't need these services again anytime soon, but if we do we will certainly keep Brennan at the top of our list.

The morning the electrician was supposed to come to my house for an estimate of our project, he requested we send photos of the location where we wanted lights installed instead. He never followed through providing an estimate but merely suggested changing some nearby lights with brighter ones that I could do myself. He must not need the work I guess.

Sergio and Mike also did a great job installing the new furnace unit and took the time to explain exactly what they needed to do in order to complete a very professional installation.

They originally installed my heat pump and did such a great job I had them do some more electrical work. They electricians were great, we had two guys DJ and Tony. Very professional and clean. They were courteous and helpful. I wanted to get some can lights installed, they saw the job and during the installation said they would install a portion of them take a look and see if the lights will be too much before cutting and installing for all 5 lights. But that kind of forethought is important, I cannot uncut a hole in the ceiling but they were thinking about it. Turns out we wanted to the extra light anyway. I have nothing but good things to say about Brennan Electric. I will be using them again for future electrical needs.

The install team from Brennan was on time, courteous and did a nice job of cleaning up. They also did a great job of walking me through what they would be doing during the install...and reviewed again at the end of the day. I purchased our system through Costco and would recommend Brennan for any of your HVAC needs.

Brennan electrics is a great shop to work with. We used them for electrical services in remodeling our kitchen, dining, and living room. A decently complex job (for me), but they made quick work of it. They ask a lot of questions to make sure they gave us our vision and told us the process as we went. The whole job took 4-5 visits (because of us), but Joe and crew were accommodating and flexible when needed (I broke ankle half way through so we didn't have the backsplash done in time), they worked around it. Really great team!

Alfred and everyone at Brennan has been great to work with. They installed a heat pump and replaced the air handler in our house, and a mini split in our mother in law apt. The work was on time and looks great. I apologize to them for not moving the paving stones far enough out of their way to install the mini split. Our experience has left us with no doubt that we can entrust Brennan with any jobs within their scope of practice!!

This is the second electrical project in my home I have used Brennan to complete. On both occasions I have been extremely pleased. This time, I hired them to install outlets for under-cabinet lighting in our kitchen. The price they quoted me over the phone was confirmed when Jim arrived. He installed the plugs exactly as I had envisioned them. Afterward, he not only vacuumed out the cabinets and countertops, but he even vacuumed the kitchen floor. I was totally impressed! My next project will be installing a transfer switch and Brennan will definitely be getting my business. Thanks for another great experience and I tip my cap to Jim!

I needed several outlets change out after a home sale inspection. Tony arrived, I showed him the list from the inspector and he went to work. He was knowledgeable of his job and answered all my questions. He was quick and got everything done. I was pleasantly surprised at the cost as I expected it to be more. I highly recommend Tony and Brennan Electric.

I got an estimate from them but too much time had passed so they said they needed to come out and update the estimate. Even tho it was the same exact project.

So I went ahead and scheduled a second appt for an estimate over a month ago and today they were a no show. They didn’t even call me. I had to call them to see if they were showing up. And they aren’t coming. They said They are happy to reschedule me in another month!! What a joke. I found another place happy to come out and do an estimate next week. I would not recommend Brennan Electric. .

When my heat pump needed replacement I got bids from several companies. I decided on Brennan because of the Costco connection. Their bid was comparable but the rebate card made them the best deal. They arrive to do the job promptly And completed the installation in a day even though there were significant problems getting the heat pump into my backyard. There were a couple of problems that they dealt with promptly and professionally. From the office staff to the field team this company works hard to do a good job. Overall, even given the issues with my particular installation, I would give these guys five stars and hire them again.

The first company I arranged to come out, didn't even bother to show up on the date we agreed upon. I called Brennan Electric after a friend suggested I try them and they were able to schedule our project in a reasonable time frame. Jim, the electrician that came out was professional, knowledgable and put us at ease. He did a professional job. He came back again to install our cooktop on short notice as well. I felt like he took care of our project as if it was his own home. We will use Brennan Electric again in the future when we have projects that fit their service. We worked with Tony as our electrician and we had above and beyond service. He was kind and thorough, happy to explain in detail the issues we were having and our possible solutions. He worked seamlessly with his colleagues and office staff to ensure a major and dangerous issue was fixed with all haste. Will use Brennan and Tony for any future needs and recommend them without hesitation.

Aaron was very helpful in explaining the electrical side of what he was doing, how it pertained to the units, and what I needed to do if something went wrong. He was on time and did his part so the other installers could do their part. Tarran and Ray did all the reconstruction of my new furnace, the refrigerant lines and drains, and install of my new thermostat. I highly recommend having Brennan install your heat pump and upgrade your furnace.

Brennan Electric just completed the electrical portion of our new heat pump installation. (Dec 2018) The electrician, Bobby, was just great. His excellent knowledge and top notch expertise re-enforced our decision to rely on Brennan for our heater replacement / conversion to a heat pump system. We have several electrical system challenges in our older home and I look forward to engaging Brennan Electrical, to service those needs in the near future.

This is my 2nd service with Brennan and my experience has been great! Alfred installed a new circuit and outlet with a 35’ run on the ceiling for EV car charging and took great care of working with my garage setup. He let me know what kind if wiring would be used and that it was suitable for sustained load charging. Will definitely use Brennan again for my electrical needs.

I can't criticize Brennan Electric too much, for we were without heat and they showed up a couple of days later with 5 trucks and did a great job installing our new furnace and air conditioning unit. I only gave them 3 stars though, because they married the new furnace up to an existing electrostatic filter and left it dirty. Also, the vents were supposed to be cleaned but the guy never showed up and my attempt to reschedule vent cleaning was fruitless.

My old Seattle home needed a complete conversion from knob and tube wiring to a completely new 200 amp wiring system. Jim originally came to the house and spent over an hour reviewing the out dated system, evaluating my needs while making suggestions for light fixtures in select areas. Scheduling the project with Mercedes was a breeze as she kept me informed of the start and stop dates. DJ and Jim (who did the original walk through) showed up a day before the start date to block in some outlets. The following Monday they both arrived on time to start the work. The project evolved into a more complicated project that originally anticipated due to adverse access issues. Brennan was able to schedule additional days and times when Jim was able to work well into the evening and even on a Saturday. Jim was also very accommodating when he came back to install temporary outlets and switches so we would have electricity for the remainder of the project. All in all, Brennan was very easy to work with and the electricians (Jim and DJ) were very professional throughout the project. I highly recommend Brennan Electric to anyone needing an electrical system update.

Mikey and his team were professional and completed the project in a timely manner and spent the time ensuring we were up to date on the specific work that would be performed to install our tankless water heater. I would recommend Brennan Electric and welcome them back for future work.

Michael did a thorough inspection of the electrical system of my 1904 built house which helped me understand how he would upgrade the knob and tube wiring. And the quote he gave was very competitive! I've used Brennan previously for an A/C install and a hot tub install and they have done quality work each time.

Had a generator installed by Josh Delaney. During a six hour power outage I realized that my garbage disposal was not hooked up to the generator. Josh returned and quickly hooked up the disposal.

What a terrific representative of his company. Josh Delaney was friendly and explained everything that he would do for the added hookup. He was very self assured and did not waste time with unnecessary chit-chat.

I will definitely call on Brennan in the future. Josh Delaney recommended that I get on the annual maintenance list so that I can take care of my new equipment!

Brennan Electrical did a professional job at replacing a 40 year old furnace, a 30 year old water heater and placing a new AC unit. The team was very thorough in evaluating the job and placing the new conduits to keep them out of the way. Alfred had a challenge in routing the electrical wires to the AC unit, when finished it looked awesome. He followed the house lines and kept them away from future projects. He also provided valuable service in diagnosing an electrical box challenge. Looks like a future project for Brennan Electrical. I highly recommend the team for furnace, AC and water heater upgrades or new installs.

Brennan electric did a great job installing my new HVAC system. I would give a 5 star rating but didn’t get knowledge of where to purchase a new replacement filter. As it’s a special filter I’m having trouble locating it and now 6 months after installation I need one.

Anthony has done work twice at our house, he is a skilled electrician but more important is an honest and ethical service provider. We had an issue that he could have made larger than it was but his integrity led him to give us the easiest, cheapest solution! Highly recommend!

Josh Dulaney from Brennan Electric provide excellent troubleshooting skills in resolving some electrical problems that other electricians could not troubleshoot to find the proper repair.
Brennan Electric also completed a very efficient install of our new heat pump/furnace last fall and the system provides reliable heat/cool at a lower cost than our previous system.

I will definitely call Brennan Electric again should I ever need an electrician for a fix or enhancement. Marty was very helpful in quickly identifying the cause of what I thought was a rather odd electrical problem which appeared to be happening randomly. It took him very little time to diagnose, explain the problem to me, and then fix it. He replaced a part in the garage electrical panel. I’m a happy customer.

Jim H. arrived on time and walked through all of the options for replacing our old, noisy wall heaters. He even recommended a heat pump for our main floor after asking some questions about where we spend the most time. I greatly appreciated his ballpark costs of various solutions and look forward to scheduling work when the estimate comes in.

The electrician they sent to our house arrived more than a hour late and first told us that he didn’t really have all the necessary tools necessary for his work.
He then proceeded to spend about 1.5 hours at the house and then said he was unable to fix the problem at all. I am hoping that they will be able fix this problem with Brennan at the next appointment.

We’ve used Brennan twice for installation of outdoor lighting and replacement of all exterior light fixtures. Both times Josh Dulaney was the electrician who came out. He was very helpful in our initial meeting, offering suggestions and answering our questions. When it came time for installation, he arrived promptly (not easy since he had to take a ferry to reach us) and got right to work. He was professional, efficient, and friendly. He disposed of all the old fixtures, wires, bulbs, saving us the hassle. We now have much more (and better quality) outdoor lighting than before. We highly recommend Brennan Electric.

Yesterday Blake and Brian from Brennan came and installed my new heating cooling system. They not only showed up early, they were quite professional, they took extra pains not to get my house dirty, they answered all my questions in a professional manner and as far as I can tell, did an exemplary job.

Great communication and execution. Bobby explained what would be done and gave specifics on how things would be done including routing of cables and placement of wall and ceiling penetrations and boxes for the installation of an air conditioning system. He and Josh made certain that everything was complete before they left, and they didn't leave a mess. They opted to do things right over doing things the easiest way. The result is a functioning system without a negative appearance. Great work! And done with a smile.

Requested to install NEMA 14-50 plug for EV charging. If I didn't ask first, electrician would install non gfci breaker when gfci is now required by the code. I would not pass the inspection. He did not have parts so job needs to be rescheduled. I was never contacted back.
This company does the very basic install, and if you want to customize it a little (like recess the outlet) they would not bother.
I ended up pulling the permit and doing all the work myself. $60 in parts (I hardwired charging station instead) and 2 hours of work. My quote was $700-800 plus tax and permit for the plug, they do not hardwire.
Very unprofessional for what you pay.

Jim and Lamin fixed an outage at my house quickly and well. They first tried to discover the problem quickly but, when that failed, came back promptly and did a more detailed analysis requiring a wiring mapping and were able to return us to working order with minimal fuss. Seem to be good guys too. I only don’t give them a five-star rating because I don’t give that rating.

Called Brennan about electrical issue with a bathroom heated floor and Jim Hohenstein had it back up and running in 30 minutes. It great to find a knowledgeable and professional person like Jim and i will call on him if there are other electrical issues in the future. Thanks again

They arrived on time and were very professional about all the aspects of our new furnace, air conditioning, and coil. At the end of their work day, Jim explained in great detail what had been done with all the electrical. We passed inspection the next morning in a breeze!

Josh was on time and highly professional. Diagnosed and did repairs quickly, including suggesting that I return a $50. LED closet light fixture that I didn't really need, and just get a $6.00 flourescent replacement bulb. (A big box store clerk convinced me I needed the LED fixture.) Josh couldn't have been nicer and he will now be my go to electrician!

Brennan Electric did a great job installing the new furnace and air conditioning systems. The work was completed as scheduled and they cleaned up the work area. Plus they disposed of the old furnace.

I was referred to Brennan for some minor electrical work and I was very disappointed in the lack of customer care I received from both the electricial department and electrician. I had to call several times to get my appointment scheduled in the first place. When I finally got an appointment scheduled, I was given a 2 hour window of when the electrician would arrive. After not showing up w/ in the 2 hr time frame I called the main office to get an update. Was told he was on his way. An hour later I called again and couldn’t reach anyone and left a voicemail. Almost 2 hour after my 2 hr scheduled window he arrived. It took him longer to ring up my charges than it did to fix the problem...$200 later. I am only giving one star for actually completing work!!!

I can't say enough about Brennan Electric's Jim Hohefstein who installed 2 dedicated circuits in my Daughter's home this week. His work was neat, efficiently accomplished in record time, no wasted material and best of all, it works splendidly! Many thanks again Jim! Job that was supposed to take 2 days was finally finished after almost 6 weeks. Two no call/no shows for scheduled work days, and a cancellation/reschdule the night before work was to be done. Very poor communication not only with me as a customer but within the employees of the company as well. Satisfied with the finished work but it was extremely unpleasent getting to that point.

Eric has been wonderful. We have had him help us with a number of projects and he has been wonderful with each one. Would recommend him to everyone.

They were on time, courteous, put down a drop cloth so the carpet didn't get dirty. They cleaned up inside and out when they were finished and went over all the components with me(the ones that were not in the attic). They were fantastic!

Crew ran over my corner nandina plant while moving the AC to the planned area and did not even inform me. They planted the broken branches and left. I just figured out while watering the plants and reviewing video. Did not install the plug nor was I informed what will be done before installation. Very unprofessional and bad experience.

It's been over a month and I am still waiting for an estimate for a light fixture repair. I contacted them about this and they promised me that it would be done by the end of the week. That was 3 weeks ago.
