I am sad to give a less than stellar review. We had several great experiences with Sunbelt Electric, referred other family members to them, and for a couple of years, we considered them our family electricians. Those excellent experiences were 2 and 3 years ago. Our most recent experience (July 2019) was extremely disappointing. The electrician, Brandon, came to our appointment late, and didn't have the equipment/supplies to perform the requested service, so we rescheduled. We weren't upset at this point, however on the day of the reschedule, he never showed up and didn't answer our calls or respond to our texts until hours later. He texted saying that he had to take a couple of days off but could reschedule again if we wanted to.Reschedules are not a problem but as I explained to him, we expected the courtesy and professionalism of letting us know, not just no-showing. I had taken time off work to be there. I also left a voicemail for Gary at the office that went unreturned. Very, very disappointing.

Octavio and Xavier came first thing in the morning to install my new ceiling fan. They were efficient and professional and they did a terrific job at a very fair price. I will absolutely use them again and recommend them to anyone who needs a superb electrician!

I was in need of a electrician on a short notice because I was gearing up to have some renovation work done on a rental property. A few switches and outlets were not working and it was going to take some time to trouble shoot the property. Eric was kind enough to squeeze me into his schedule the same day he came out to give an estimate. Spend a few hours working through the challenges and at the end. All my lights and outlets were working. Would highly recommend.

Can’t recommend this company enough! They do exceptional work, are honest, on time, very knowledgeable, and professional. Recently Hunter Electric installed a 240V charger for an electric car and a separate 110 GCFI circuit for us. This went very well with timely arrival and willingness to stay until the job (with some unexpected obstacles in our older house) was completed – which was late on a FridaySome days later we had a sudden electrical issue with our 4 year old water heater. Hunter came out the same day and corrected it. Apparently the wiring had been done poorly by the plumbing company and the 240 volt connector melted. Fortunately the circuit breaker popped, so there was no fire.We were so pleased with this rapid and competent response from Hunter, that we signed up for their annular maintenance plan, Which we would recommend to anyone who does not have an established relationship with a electrician.

I hired Solarator Electric, Darryl Ford, to install a Generac Generator. I hired him because he is listed as an authorized dealer. His workmanship was so bad and unsafe that I have had to have it re-done. Come to find out, he did not pull any permits, the plumber he used to run a natural gas line did not go down the required 18 inches and in fact only buried the gas line about 3 inches deep in most places.Due to safety concerns the generator had to be disconnected and now I am having to have all electrical and plumbing re-done to meet city and utility company specifications. Darryl Ford has still not given me a refund for his unsafe and shoddy workmanship.Would absolutely stay away from this company for any electrical work!

Mark did a superb job on installing external outlets and replacing lighting in our house. He was honest, efficient, hard-working, professional, and friendly, and was able to help us help ourselves in those areas in which he did not need to make repairs (i.e., our smoke detection system). Mark was our second quote and he did not upcharge us or suggest unnecessary work, but rather, gave us multiple options so that we had the power to decide and save money. He showed up early for our estimate and for the next-day installation/repairs. Will definitely use Mark again if we ever have any electrical issues!!

I normally don't post reviews because I receive average service. However, my experience with Blackbelt was AMAZING. Gabriel came out quickly and was able to address the problem. It ended up being a relatively simple fix and he was honest about it. I value the honesty because he could have given me a whole list of things wrong and I wouldn't have been the wiser. He was very professional and friendly. I have dealt with other AC companies come and this is by far the best one. If we ever have issues with our unit again, they will be our first call.
