I called Gabriel because I noticed his business was local and close by. I was having an issue with a new water heater that I had installed. I wanted a professional to make sure everything was done correctly since it wasn’t heating up. He came over, told me everything looked in order and said to run the water a bit longer than what I had. He also gave me some advice on other things he noticed in the house. He didn’t want a service fee because he hadn’t performed any work. Gabriel is a stand up guy and if I or anyone I know needs electrical and HVAC needs, I will be calling. I found him to be very thorough and knowledgeable. Thanks again Gabriel.

Gabriel was awesome in the repair and knowledge of HVAC system. Gave me peace of mind and even went above to teach me about HVAC systems of how it works when set to heat mode. I highly recommend for any and all HVAC and electrical repairs.

My Experience with Blackbelt AC & Electrical, was outstanding. The entire process from start to finish was very friendly, professional and no non-sense! They were super responsive with our initial request for service. The Company communicated very well providing estimated time of arrival of our technician. Our technician was on site and had our system back up and running within less than 4 hours of our initial emergency contact! Upon arrival Gabriel inspected the system, pin-pointed the problem and explained the repair. Gabriel followed through on every expectation that he set, and provided updates during the entire process. Defiantly recommend this company to any and everyone!!

We found Black Belt a/c and elec. Googling for a/c repair saw some good reviews and Gabriel's name came up alot. I called and made an appointment. Gabriel showed up on time when he said he would be there. He has some good communication with his customers and is very knowledgeable. Give black belt a call you wont be disappointed. A friend recommended Blackbelt AC to me when my AC went out in the heat of the summer last year. They came out within 24 hours, located my issue, and had it repaired for the same price that 2 other companies quoted as a base fee they charge just to come out a look at my AC (not fix). Since then, I’ve recommended them to multiple friends and family including my mom. Everyone loves them! They are definitely the most honest and reliable choice!

Over the past 13 years I have used Black Belt at 3 different homes and for AC services, electrical services, new install. In addition I have recommended Black belt to dozens of friends and family members. I always appreciate the honesty and communication in what must be done versus what is recommended.The honesty and consistency is priceless.I would put their work up against anyone in the industry.You can not go wrong with black belt for either AC or Electrical needs.

I normally don't post reviews because I receive average service. However, my experience with Blackbelt was AMAZING. Gabriel came out quickly and was able to address the problem. It ended up being a relatively simple fix and he was honest about it. I value the honesty because he could have given me a whole list of things wrong and I wouldn't have been the wiser. He was very professional and friendly. I have dealt with other AC companies come and this is by far the best one. If we ever have issues with our unit again, they will be our first call.

Gabriel was recommended to me by my neighbor, on a 100+ degree day when my AC went out. Gabriel came to assist me after work hours and managed to fix my AC even without having the exact needed equipment on hand. I was a 22 year old single homeowner at the time who had no idea what she was doing and needed someone to be honest and not rip her off. I felt comfortable with Gabriel’s presence and his work. He was professional, honest, and kind. My AC went out again later that same summer (this time the indoor unit) and he drove 45+ minutes away to get me the last motor for my exact model in Texas. My final time using Gabriel has been to correct inspections requested in the selling of my home. Even then, the inspector noted itty bitty things that were NOT wrong on the AC, and rather than charging me for the many things he could have based upon this buyer-preference report, he was honest about the things that were not actually wrong. He was straight up with me and never once charged me for unnecessary tasks. He has been so good and reliable that even during Snow-vid, when everyone’s pipes froze and it had NOTHING to do with AC, I texted him because I just did not even know who else to ask for help and advice and didn’t have anyone else I trusted more. Our AC is over 18 years old. It stopped working as it was getting hotter. When black belt diagnosed it, it was very sad to see the state our ac system was in. Some of our rooms have been getting hot while others were cool. The original builder that installed the system did a poor job. Some of the vent connections were never really installed correctly and we were air conditioning the attic. So when Gabriel told me we would need a new system we were ready. It has been a huge improvement we can actually feel the air moving through the house. The rooms are cool and we are happy. Thanks Black Belt a/c.

This company was referred to me through my insurance company. They came out did their assessment and stated they could fix my A/C problem. After being given the estimate my insurance company agreed. Blackbelt started its repairs then a few days later stated it would be 20,000 and stated I needed a whole new ac unit. Why was this not realized when doing the assessment and writing up the estimate? Why even start work on an AC unit that they claimed could not hold enough power. My insurance company and I did not agree and another company came out all that was needed was a new refrigerant line and more Freon. They also stole my thermostat that was worth over 100 dollars and replaced it with a very cheap model. I asked it be returned and Gabriel stated it would but never was.Mr.Gabriel I have all the documentation to back up my review. I am not a spammer nor competitor.

I would like to say Thank You to Gabriel for coming out to check on our AC on such short notice! He is a very honest person that I can trust inside our home. I liked that he wasn't rushing through the AC maintenance process and even made time to explain the process as he went. He also didn't make me feel like I was a bother to him after asking him so many electrical and AC questions. He even made time to have a small conversation with my husband and I which shows the great customer service that he provides. It's not only about getting the job completed but getting to know his customers! Thank you Gabriel!!!

What an amazing company. I called them to get a second opinion on a huge job and Gabriel steered me the right way saving me a ton of money. There is a definite lack of quality, honest trades in todays world but this is a stellar example of how business should be run. Military and SAPD can’t go wrong, you’ve earned a customer for life.

Gabriel came to look at an issue with my AC, and was able to give me multiple options of what I could do. I ended up getting a new unit. 7/11/2020. The weather this week has been a steady 100 degrees. My A/C stopped working last night!!! I called Gabriel this morning for help. He arrived within an hour and didn’t took him long to figure out the problem. He was able to fix my A/C with parts he already had in his truck. WE HAVE COLD AIR NOW!!! Gabriel is the type of person that will bend over backwards to assist anyone in need. His police and marine background is a statement that he is the quiet warrior that is willing to go above and beyond to help those in need. Gabriel is the type of person that is honest on his work, sincere on his advise to save you money with quality work and a true professional in everything he does. We sure needed him today! Great company! I had some very serious electrical problem at my house. I had Gabriel and his team to check it out and fix my problem. Very detail orientated and very knowledgeable group of guys! Looking forward to using this company again!

Blackbelt A/C and Electrical installed a new air conditioner in a home I had just purchased. When I moved in, I noticed the air wasn't circulating thru the home and I called the owner. Gabriel was very polite and explained about what the problem might be. We decided to have the duct work checked out. While waiting for the inspection, my a/c iced up and my hallway had water coming up thru the floor. Gabriel came out to the home and checked on the unit himself. He was extremely polite and very knowledgable and calmed my nerves down immensely. He pulled out the filter and it was filthy. He suggested I turn off the a/c and let the ice dissipate, and to try replacing the filter before running any expensive tests. He easily could have suggested any number of expensive fixes on top of replacing the filter and gouging me for hundreds or thousands of dollars. Instead he suggested I try replacing the filter and he showed me the exact type that was needed and how to put it in. He was available when I had a question and he made me feel heard and not rushed at all. Gabriel generally cares and is truly a person and a company that I would recommend without blinking an eye. In this day and age, it is almost impossible to find a person or company that you can trust, and it is nice to know that Gabriel and Blackbelt A/C and Electric are knowledgeable and beyond trustworthy. From one former military servicemember to another, thank you for your service- not only to our country, but to San Antonio, too!! It is nice to know that honesty and integrity still exist.

Honest and Ethical. We didn't utilize his services because the project required a significant upgrade in power service, which caused us to cancel the project, as the power upgrades caused the project to be over budget. Let me day it again: Honest and Ethical.

I recommend Blackbelt for HVAC and duct work.I researched 10 a/c companies and sought estimates from 6 for HVAC unit and duct work. Not everyone was helpful, patient, or professional.Gabriel was professional in response, knowledgeable in equipment and process, and patient in providing assistance with all of my questions, even if it involved me possibly selecting another a/c company. His employees were safe and courteous while doing installation and clean up of work.I am very satisfied overall with their work. The system is quiet, my home is kept warm/cool, and my bills are lower than I expected. ?

Blackbelt AC & Electric did an outstanding job correcting botched electrical previously done. What I thought was saving money ended up costing me more to correct. Blackbelt not only corrected this but their work is built it to last. Honesty and integrity is their motto and let me tell you, they mean it!

Gabriel installed a brand new Amana a/c a few years back. I was out of town visiting family when my daughter called and said it was 90 degrees in my house and that my two cats really looked distressed. I phoned Gabriel and he got in it right of way. By the time I got back home a couple days later, he had it up and running. That’s what I call service !This past Thursday, my A/C started running hot. It was 96 outside. I called Gabriel; he said he would be there Friday after he handled another scheduled call. He arrived around noon and promptly got to my A/C. It was 87 inside my house ! To my surprise, Gabriel said my A/C didn’t have any problems, that everything checked out ok. I don’t know what happened; I was just glad that Gabriel got it up and running. He told me to call him ASAP if anything happened over the weekend. The kicker was that he didn’t charge me for the service call. I’m very impressed with their quality of service and manner of doing business.

Black Belt AC and Electric explained the entire process before replacing my entire home AC system. The efficiency we gained as a result is nothing short of amazing! Our home is so much more comfortable, air evenly distributed in both wings. This had never been accomplished before and we were told by another company to install an additional unit to get even air flow. We are so impressed with Black Belt, give them a call before making a decision on another business to install or repair your AC system. You will not be disappointed.

Gabe arrived on time for a yearly A/C check. Gabe installed this system 6 years ago and we have not had one issue to date. I have found Gabe to be very knowledgeable when it comes to our heating and cooling needs. I would and have recommended him to several other people in the past six years. Gabe is a good guy, reasonable, honest and trustworthy in my opinion!

I'm very thankful that Gabe was recommended to us. Our AC went out back in December which we didn't have an urgency to get repaired because it wasn't hot. Then March and April came. This was our turning point. We needed to have our whole system swapped out. What I thought was going to take a week or 2 turned out only to be a couple days. Gabe and his team arrived at 9am and had everything completed by 3pm. I couldn't have asked for better service. Everyone was courteous, professional, and efficient. Thank you thank you thank you!
