Loved our experience with Hunter Service Group. They installed our EV charger and it’s so clean looking installed. Love we got a text with a photo of our tech and the ability to track their arrival. Will use again for electrical work!

Booking an appt. was easy and Kaitlyn was very pleasant. Excellent communication! Received updates on when technician would arrive and received a picture of the technician as well, which was awesome! Colby walked us through the issue and offered preventative maintenance but we did not feel pressured to make those decisions on the spot.Overall, great service from everyone involved! We HIGHLY recommend Hunter Service Group!

I selected Hunter to install recessed lighting, light fixtures, and replace old outlets as part of a kitchen remodel and in my family room, and I'm glad I did! Hunter worked with my schedule and did the job on a day I would be home. John gave an accurate and very fair quote. He explained in detail the work to be done that there was no confusion and I was very comfortable with my decision. John and Chris were professional, knowledgeable and great to work with. John knew exactly what I wanted and executed flawlessly. My kitchen and family room have been totally updated. I can't believe the transformation. I am beyond pleased. Called Hunter Electric Friday afternoon. Techs were on their way home for the day & weekend. The office reached out to John A. and he agreed to stop by to look at a number of issues. He analyzed all the issues & systematically ran through each fixing them. He was professional and very courteous. So knowledgeable that he inspired confidence. There were wires fixed that had been arcing. A failed GFCI. A failed outdoor plug. A wrong breaker in the main box… And a bad three way switch in the Master Bathroom. He repaired them all the while explaining the problems and fixes for them. Very transparent. All is well now thanks to Hunter Services and John! Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I can’t say enough nice things about my experience with Hunter Service Group. In the middle of a remodel, I discovered an electrical issue that had to be promptly resolved to proceed. With only 30 minutes notice, John Alestas and his tech, Oscar, showed up and quickly identified the problem. They were professional, informative and their work was perfect, no shortcuts. During my initial call, the staff was extremely helpful in getting me to the right person and keeping me informed of my service person’s time of arrival. I would highly recommend Hunter Service Group to anyone looking for an experienced, knowledgeable electrician.

I cannot say enough positive things about Colby. Professional and down to earth. No-nonsense sales approach. Extremely knowledgeable. Response time was very quick. I would recommend this company hands down to anyone. I had several companies out to give estimates, he was the most thorough but was not pushy or demeaning as some of the other contractors were in his sales approach.

This is the third time I have used Hunter Service Group, and the second time I have had the pleasure of John Alestas as my service technician. Each time Hunter Service Group comes out they go above and beyond to ensure I am informed on the services provided, why they need to provide the service, and how much it will cost. Both times John as been out here he has been extremely knowledgeable on what he is doing as well as being extremely customer oriented. We will always use Hunter Service Group for our needs around the house because of how great they treat us and our house!

I really enjoyed my experience with Hunter Service Group, and that's not something you hear often these days. There technicians were knowledgeable, courteous, timely and they don't take themselves to serious. I especially liked the text message pictures of their technicians dressed up in costumes at office parties (Bumble Bee, Leprechaun etc). This is a fun, family oriented group...

Chris did an awesome job @ was very professional. He answered all of our ?’s & as requested gave us an estimate on other work. Oscar was very helpful regarding ?’s we had about possible upgrade of our ac/heater system. We definitely plan on using this company in the future.

Juan was a pleasure to have at our house. He diagnosed our outdoor receptacles and found a solution. After he found issue and gave us 3 options had it fixed in a flash. Will use hunter for all of our projects.

Called Hunter to install my dinning room chandelier. Kaitlyn answered and was extremely polite she asked a couple questions about my ceiling heights and type of chandelier. Once I got transferred to Melissa she had a great sense of humor and made things easy. She explained their homecare club which I signed up to. The technician was Juan Gutierrez which called 20 minutes ahead. Once we hung up I got a text with Juan's bio and made me feel good about the tech.once arrive he installed our chandelier in the dinning room and totally changed the look over our table. He also suggested a dimmer for the chandelier.

They were on top of the appointment and called to confirm it on a Sunday.

First off I can never say enough good things about the following gentlemen; my electricians John and Chris. John came out to my house for the initial quote and took the time to explain the three offers of good, better and best with the pros and cons to each price level. They definitely are able to work within every price range. He answered all my questions on what would be necessary to bring my 1959 house up to code. There was no pressure to make a decision. When I accepted the quote with Hunter Electric they were in constant communication. The front office was always pleasant and happy to assist. John and Chris were a delight to have a around. They were pleasant and always took the time to answer my questions and concerns. It was an overwhelming task, but they were quick as could be with a whole house rewire. On top of re-wiring my house they installed can lighting through out the entire house. I walk around in awe of it. I don’t think my house has ever been that bright. They truly were amazing professionals and I would definitely recommend and utilize John and Chris again! Thank you is not adequate enough!!!!To My HVAC crew Michael and Oscar! They worked miracles! They took an old heat pump that constantly froze at 40° and cost me over $400 a month to cool my house to a brand new Trane HVAC system and created incredible furnace driven A/C. They had to build everything from the ground up. It was a daunting task, but they did it. They were professional and delight to have around. They always answered my questions. Michael found the best systems for my house! It has only be running for less than 24 hours and it all ready feels like a night and day difference. Much like the electrical quote I was offered a good, better, best.John, Michael, Oscar, Chris are incredible and Hunter Service Group is lucky to have such professionals!I do want to add that the more I think about everything they did, I realize they all went above and beyond what was expected! It was already an overwhelming time for me. This was not a task I wanted to take on, I am glad they made it easier.

I found John Alestas and his company thru some really good reviews on neighborhood website and sure enough, he has been called 3 times to my home and I will definitely continue to use him for all my electrical needs. Clean, honest and very knowledgeable. I have recommended him to other people as well. He is definitely worth every penny for the peace of mind.

Alex, the technician that was assigned to these installations for Electrical Vehicles charging stations, was outstanding and very knowledgeable. Every aspect of replacing two breaker panels and upgrades was absolutely professionally accomplished by Chris Carker and his assistant Chris Dingus. Chris Carker performed a detailed safety and serviceability inspection explaining every aspect as he conducted the inspection. We developed a game plan, he sourced the parts, and they arrived the next day and superby accomplished all the work in one day. Outstanding assessment and technical expertise combined with attention to detail resulted in a finished project that is second to none!! Hunter Services earned my highest recommendation!!

Five stars for Hunter Service Group! Our air conditioner went out on a hot weekend in August. After getting a few quotes for repair, we opted to go with Hunter Service Group as they were clearly heads above the rest! They found the parts that were needed and got them ordered. Oscar and Chris showed up, on time and ready to work, replacing the coil on our air conditioner in the attic. They worked hard all day long, not even stopping for lunch. They wanted to get us up and running and they did just that! They saved us $900 off our first quote from another company! They were polite and courteous and did the job with a smile! We highly recommend them for any of your needs! Professionalism and integrity at its best! Thank you Hunter Service Group!

My experience with Hunter Service Group was great. They responded immediately and gave me all the details I needed for my service appointment, that we were able to schedule on my day off. Justin was so professional and knowledgeable and was able to walk me thru everything explaining everything to me in layman's terms. The work was extensive due to the electrical being as old as the house, so after giving me a quote they were able to start the next day also my day off which worked out perfectly. That day it was Justin and Jonathan and they both were great. I will be giving my friends their information and using them again in the near future.

I was happy with Chris that did electrical work for us on our pool equipment. He was courteous and professional. Upon completion, he asked me to come back and explained the work he had done. Although the parts they ordered were delayed, they were able to install when they received it, and I look forward to using this company in the future.

Chris was so personable and patient. Stayed until the problem was fixed. It took him 12 hours to complete the job, but he didn't quit until he had the problem fixed.

This company is the best. They are so professional and honest. I’ve used them for upgrading my entire house’s wiring (pigtailing from aluminum to copper), getting a new panel, installing hardwired smoke alarms, doorbell repair, and more. They show up when they say they’ll be there and are incredibly responsive and friendly when it comes to scheduling. They really make you feel like part of the family, and they explain what’s going on when diagnostics are needed.

On time. Very friendly and was able to help us get repairs and upgrades done very quickly. Gave us a few options and explained each one in detail. Didn't try to force us into extra work! We will definitely continue doing business with them!!

My obsession with this company is real!!! They came out and switched out my current switches to smart switches! Who even knew I needed or wanted this until the Tech filled me in on all the benefits and I was blown away! I am a little old school so technical stuff isn’t my forte but I love it all the same! They did a free inspection while here and created a few estimates on a few things that can improve my home and make it more safe for my family! I feel so confident in making them my go to for all my electrical needs! The office staff was absolutely amazing as well and so easy to work with!!

Michael and Oscar from the HVAC team solved in two hours what took us and other vendors months to try and figure out unsuccessfully. From the day we met them for an initial intro, they had the service scheduled within 36 hours.They clearly know what they’re taking about and doing. The office spaces that weren’t being properly cooled are now usable spaces again.They documented their work, explained the problem in clear terms, and were prompt and courteous. Hunter electric was awesome with us. When I had concerns about the cost of something, I believe it was the owner himself that called to talk through it. Our technician Justin provided literally about the BEST customer service job I've ever had with electrical work. He was patient, good spirited, informative, and professional. He walked us through step by step on how to use our generator panel. This company even went to the lengths a few weeks after the install, to proactively call me and inform me of a recall. They came out to fix it all up free, and even provided a longer connection cord to honor a promise they had made earlier. They could have easily ignored that and left us with the far shorter cord. Can't recommend this company enough.

Based on other reviews, I chose Hunter Electrical Service to install my manual transfer switch and home surge protector. I wanted this installed after being without power in February 2021 for 3.5 days. The service was excellent. They came out and gave me a free estimate on all the work I wanted done. Communication was also excellent. I'm satisfied with the work performed and am planning to have them come out soon to complete other work. If looking for an electrician, please consider this company.

I just bought an old house on Hausman road, and so much needs to be done ! I needed new outlets and new ceiling fans ! They helped me out and they were so understanding and had such a flexible schedule. The technician that came bye was very respectful and was super helpful in letting me know what was wrong. Definitely recommend them!

Hired them to run Ethernet cable throughout the house to include outside for security cameras. The ones ran outside were not put into faceplates, the cable was left hanging, and the holes that were drilled for the cable was not sealed. There is one cable that was ran and terminated on one end, but was not terminated on the other end. But all the cable that was ran inside the house was ran really well and are all working. The employees were very professional, nice, and cleaned up very well after themselvesUPDATE: After writing a review, Hunter Electrical was very quick to contact me and schedule a fix. Everything is great now and I would highly recommend their services. Juan was the main person on site and he did a great job!

I wanted to have a couple of lines connected to 2 outlets. I already had the hardware (Commercial outlets, Outside rated, Oil resistant (OOS wire) and circuit breakers). I also already drilled the openings and connected the house to the shed (24 inches apart) with a PVC pipe to run the cable through. They only had to run the cable under the house. For that they wanted $1800 and tried to hard sell on quality of work. (Not much work left to do if you ask me.) I hired a pro electrician for $360. Don't toss your money away. Get several bids and do your homework.

We were so fortunate and blessed to be referred to Hunter Electric. After having multiple electrical issues from a previous contractor renovation. We searched for a reputable electric company that could help us and obtained multiple bids for repairs. Hunter electric not only gave us the best price but were the most professional and provided us excellent service with Juan. He took care of all the issues we had in one day. Their quote came in WAY lower than one of their competitors that shall not be named. They fixed a bunch of electrical issues on my 35 year old house, installed a whole home surge protector, and installed a 220 outlet for my electric vehicle. Couldn’t be happier with the results and I highly recommend them.

Now we know why.We got to work with Juan and he was EXCELLENT!! Juan wasted no time in diagnosing our electrical issue. I had called Hunter Electrical Service because of the Google Reviews. I was not disappointed. I needed some help because our garage lights were not coming on. Colby came over and fixed our issue right away. The house that we purchased was remodeled by the previous owners, when they remodeled they also did some really bad work on the electrical lines throughout the house. He made us aware of the hazards in the work that was done and very possibly prevented our house from catching fire. He gave us a quote so that our house could be brought up to code and the office was able to get us scheduled within three days. Thank you for your thoroughness, professionalism, and help!

I used Hunter Electrical before and Juan came out for a consultation. I told him everything I was looking to have done, he gave me his insights and provided estimates for everything. When I got my new system I called to schedule, they had a quick turnaround on openings. Juan came out and got everything hooked up quickly and did so many tests to ensure everything worked correctly. Always professional and efficient. They are my go to for electrical services.

The two electricians, David and Alex, were great to work with. Every time my wife changed her mind on the height of the lights they quickly changed the height. David called and asked if he could arrive early. We met at the house. He completed a difficult diagnosis on a misbehaving 3-way light circuit (bad wiring buried in the wall). He ran new wiring and corrected code issues (power run on undersized neutral!) and installed a new two switch set-up that allowed separate control of our inside garage and outside lights. Recommended replacement of two light fixtures in the garage (we didn’t bite on that deal despite the attractive price). Work was completed in a professional manner and he cleaned up the dust and work debris when he was finished. Professional, friendly and efficient service for a reasonable price. Based on David’s work, we will use again if the need arises.

On time, and quality work. I will always use Hunter for our electric work.I wrote the above review in 2020 when Hunter relocated an outlet and added another outlet in my home. I just had them out again to pull wiring for an outdoor security cam and floodlight. They also installed the security system and Ring doorbell. The technician was very skilled, efficient and professional.

I called yesterday to get a plug charged on an appliance and to have some work done on an outlet. They scheduled me for the next day and showed up and hour before their window started which was awesome!David do extremely professional work and was very friendly. I cannot say enough great things about Colby, David, and Demetrio at Hunter Electrical. They are extremely professional, kind and caring. They showed up on time and went above and beyond, and so thoughtful. You don't see that too much in the service industry anymore, and it was a great feeling to see that they treat you like family. They did a bathroom remodel, rewiring and moved fixtures, got our old home functioning right in two days and worked incredibly hard. I would call them again and recommend them to anyone. Colby Hunter did an excellent job on several repairs on our home. After a CPS power outage, our AC did not kick back on. Colby quickly found the problem and repaired the burned out outlet in our attic. He checked all of the power panels, tightened up loose wires, and installed a smoke & carbon monoxide detector. He was very professional and thorough in all of his tasks. He kept us informed and answered all our questions. We highly recommend his services as an electrician.

Was very pleased with the quick response of sending an electrician out for replacing a ceiling fixture.Mr. Flores had such a pleasant personality and certainly knew his profession. We would certainly recommend the quality and speed of work. The price was a bit high would be the only concern.

Hunter Electric has done several jobs including installing a generator. They have done a great job thus far, and do quality control as well.

I found the service with Hunter Electrical to be excellent. The electrician, Juan, arrived as scheduled. He was personable, knowledgeable, and skilled. He diagnosed the problem within minutes, had the part on his truck, and was in and out in 30 minutes. I can recommend Hunter Electrical without hesitation and will use them again.

Middle of the night we lost power, ended up having to replace the main meter box. I had lost use of my AC’s, my well and just about everything else that I needed. Called HES at just about 6:30am thinking I would get an answering service. Was shocked when someone answered, turned out it was the owner. From that point on they took care of me, I never felt like My job wasn’t a priority to them. From the office staff to both service techs (Juan and David) these guys were awesome. Here is his message along with my response:Owner:I was made aware that you took issue with work that we recently performed for you. It is my understanding that you took issue with the following:-The motion sensor that was installed for your bedroom lights was meant to be installed for your bathroom lights-The Nest security camera that we installed for you resulted in a bush in your back yard sustaining some minor damage.I have spoken with the technician who did the installation and my estimator that priced this work for you. I have also reviewed the invoice. The invoice clearly states that the motion sensor was to be installed in your bedroom and you signed for the completed work. This would indicate that you were satisfied with the installation and the location / function of the motion sensor. Furthermore, the technician says that he advised you not to install the motion sensor in your bedroom. If you would like us to move the motion sensor to another location, that can be done, but at an additional cost.After speaking with both my estimator and installing technician, we will not compensate you for “damage” to a bush. Your vegetation in the backyard is overgrown and both of my employees advised you that there may be some minor damage to the vegetation because of where you wanted us to mount the cameras. You indicated that would not be a problem and asked us to proceed. Again, your signature on the invoice and payment would indicate that you were satisfied with the work performed.My response to above message:I was NOT informed that there would be damage to my plants and was only informed after-the-fact, once I approached installer in the backyard during installation.As for the bedroom light, also not correct. I directed the installer to install motion detector device in bathroom. He informed that he couldn't. At that point is when I directed to install in bedroom.You're right, the signature represents my sign off on work performed. However, it doesn't always characterize the context of the situation. If you choose not to redress, that's fine - I'll simply share my perspective /experience in the appropriate area.To be clear, the installer was very courteous and professional. Just because the invoice states one thing doesn't reflect what actually occurred.As for the bushes - my Lantana plant which is situated just under my bedroom window was damaged and the installer DID NOT engage me prior to install to raise any concern with damaging the plant. It was only after I came outside and discovered the damage that installer apologized and said it was necessary in order to install. He also said the plant should bounce back up with some water suggesting he didn't damage it.Last, to make it seem as though I wanted to get something for nothing is disingenuous. All I asked for is that Hunter Electrical make it right. There's no reason a customer needs to pay extra for the issues mentioned above.10/27/20: No smear here. All truth and facts. I called Hunter to perform an upgrade of the outside and inside panels of my home. Both were not up to code and outdated. I previously called other companies and they were either charging too much or did not explain things well to me. Danny from Hunter showed up and started evaluating the work needed to be done. He was very thorough in inspecting the work needed to be done. This being a critical part of a home, it was important for me to get it done right. They kept me updated on the process as they worked with CPS to get all the work and permits approved. On the day the work was to be done, David and Colby showed up on schedule and they even helped me address a problem with some GCFIs while we waited for CPS. Everything went smooth and there were no concerns. They even grounded my AC unit as it wasn’t properly grounded. These guys went beyond what I asked them to do and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again for future electrical work.

Juan Gutierrez is super awesome and professional, he came ten minutes early and told him the situation that my dryer 220 outlet wasn’t working so he check the breakers and notice it was old. So Juan replaced the old breaker and also put a surge protector in my breaker box as well incase thunder storms fried my new appliances. Justin came out and installed an outlet in the attic and put some other outlets on a switch. Our wiring turned out to be very idiosyncratic so it wasn’t as simple as it could have been but he found a way to get it done and improve the overall power outlet situation in the garage as well.

Their professionalism, speed, service and personal touch seems to be unmatched right now. David and Juan, as a team, converted what needed to be converted and repaired what needed to be repaired quickly and so smoothly. This is sincere...if google had a 10 star rating..instant 10.

Had him come in and move 4 outlets. 2 in my island needed to be lowered and 2 in my wall needed to be moved up. The end outlet on the island couldn't be moved so he cut power to it. He did not cap the end of the wires when he was done. Just left them sitting in the empty cover. Charged me $488. Had another electrician come out and he told me it was not done correctly by not being capped off.

Finally had my service done today. Being a holiday weekend I was hoping my 2-4 scheduled time slot would happen earlier. I called Hunter Electrical Service (HES) this morning, to see if I can have someone step down my water heater quick disconnect outlet from 240v to a dedicated 120v outlet for my new tankless water heater.I didn’t know if they would have anyone available on short notice; but, they came through. Everyone I interacted with within the company was professional and pleasant. They texted and called to let me know the electrician was on his way, the problem was fixed within that first hour of work, I was able to pay with credit card on site, and they did a follow up phone call several days later to make sure things were still working. Only taking away one star because it took a couple of days to get an appointment but I would definitely use them again.

My oven decided it wanted to trip the breaker on Christmas day. I call Hunter Electrical Service and spoke with Raquel. I explained my issue to her and she was courteous and professional! She took my information down and was able to fit me in their bust schedule for the following day. Juan Guiterrez was dispatched to my home and showed up right on time. He was also very courteous and professional as he explained everything he was doing. He quickly identified the problem and had it fixed within 30 minutes. He double and tripled checked his work and I cannot be more thankful for his thoroughness. We had a doorbell issue and wanted someone to come look at the chime and transformer. Ended up the chime was bad- we already bought one so Hunter Electric enstalled it for us. It was a very fast process and he even changed out the bell at the front door. It was a little pricey. He said he only charged me the call out fee ($150).

We hired Hunter Electric several months ago to do some electrical work to include outdoor lighting with receptacles, installing new smoke detecters throughout the house, lighting and outlets in our new shed and finally LED lighting in our garage which made a big difference in the brightness. I hired HES add two new 120v 20A circuits to go out to a future shed pad. They tied into the inside panel and cut some holes in the wall and ceiling to route through the outside wall and brick. They were in and out in a day cleaned up after themselves inside and out and did a professional job with the work. Employees were friendly and discussed the scope before and during the work.

I had a service call scheduled with Hunter Electrical Service for a circuit breaker tripping when using my laser printer. The electrician who came out to my home to diagnose the problem was Mr. Colby Hunter. I explained in detail what was happening when using my printer, and Mr. Hunter did some basic preliminary test and new what the problem was immediately after trouble shooting. It was a faulty arc fault circuit breaker. Prior to Hunter Electrical Service coming out to my home , I had three other electrical companies come out to trouble shoot the circuit breaker problem, and they couldn't find the problem, and didn't have a clue.The first electrician blamed it on the laser printer causing the problem.All three prior Electrical companies wanted to run a new dedicated 20 amp circuit for my laser printer which didn't make any since to me or Mr. Hunter. Recently Hunter Electric installed a 240V charger for an electric car and a separate 110 GCFI circuit for us. This went very well with timely arrival and willingness to stay until the job (with some unexpected obstacles in our older house) was completed – which was late on a FridaySome days later we had a sudden electrical issue with our 4 year old water heater. Hunter came out the same day and corrected it. Apparently the wiring had been done poorly by the plumbing company and the 240 volt connector melted. Fortunately the circuit breaker popped, so there was no fire.We were so pleased with this rapid and competent response from Hunter, that we signed up for their annular maintenance plan, Which we would recommend to anyone who does not have an established relationship with a electrician.
