Big Red Electric

I recently used Big Red Electric (June/July) for some work on my commercial business and then again on my residential this past September. He did amazing work and had the cutest helper with him (his son). I asked to be quoted for a panel upgrade at my house, I needed to make sure to budget it in properly . I decided to move forward with the upgrade, called and Red was able to explain to me that due to inflation and cost of supplies rising that the quote would have to be adjusted. Being that it was over 90 days ago, I understood and agreed! I can’t imagine how hard it must be to run a small family owned business with so many changes in costs right now. He did amazing work at the house and was able to even help fix some issues we had at the panel. I’ve referred him to all my friends and family and will continue to do so.

Big Red did a great job diagnosing and explaining the problem and the solution. They were able to answer all of my questions and provided some suggestions I didn't think to ask.

June of 2022 I hired him to do some work in my house, outlets , installing of a fan and connecting my microwave and put in a few more outlets . I should of know best to hire him when he arrived over 1 hour late and then he was on his cell with his kids and wife. then he did a terrible job and made a huge hole on my new cabinets which I had to ask him tom cover-up with a larger light plate. He gave me one quote then try charge me more, the fan in the bedroom is loose and now my panel trips up and my appliances go off.to add to this he brought his under age son to work and the young man seem uninterested in working and they made a mess of things.While he was here he gave me quote on this and I called him yesterday and he was trying to charge me $1,000.00 more than the quoted price.I only called YOU BIG RED to give you the opportunity to good on your word. waste of my time at the end when you quoted me GRAND more and said things went up in two months, You have a lot of personal drama that doesn't allow you to work well. Yu also have a passive aggressive way of being. of being .PEOPLE DO NOT USE HIM AT THE END HE IS AS EXPESSIVE AS ANY OTHER ELECTRICIAN AND MAY BE THE MORE UNPROFFESSIONAL ONE.

Shane and Benjamin were on time and did a professional job installing 2 bathroom heater/exhaust/fans with lights. A++

Very responsible and safety conscious, I would recommend him to anyone, Residential, or Commercial He will get the Job DONE!!!!

Big Red Electric is my go to electrician.The owner, Robert is very knowledgeable, professional and goes above and beyond to to ensure that you get what you pay for. He kept in constant contact with me every step of the way and made sure that I was 100% satisfied before he left. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking for an honest and professional electrician.

They did all the electrical work on a build out and finish work on Cabrera Funeral Home, all the electric for a walk in cooler, new drops, new lights, new outlets, repair/replace existing wiring, installed and started up low volt control systems for the Walk in cooler, installed ventilation fans, repair/replace exterior lightFixtures. They worked quickly, and met or excited all scheduled completion dates, and we’re under budget. They gave the required warranty that the contracts required.We will definitely use them again in the future for any projects that we bid.

I was having issues with an outdoor outlet. They were able to fit me in to their schedule quickly, and arrived promptly. Turns out my issue was minimal - but they were quick to troubleshoot and didn’t make me feel bad for calling them out for something I should have been able to do on my own. Thankful I called someone with integrity who didn’t overcharge or condescend me for my lack of knowledge. Will recommend to all my neighbors for these reasons!

I can't recommend Big Red Electric enough. I was having electrical issues and smelling something burning and eventually lost power to all plugs in our office bedroom. Robert was able to come out the next day after I had called him. He was able to locate the problem which turned out to be a loose wire in a outlet plug behind our bookshelf. It had been causing a slow electrical burn and eventually causing loss of power to that room. That was repaired and the breaker switch that failed was also repaired in the garage. Robert also fixed the wiring and wobbly fan in the room next to our office that was also flickering due to loss of power on that same circuit. My house literally could have caught on fire from the wire burning inside the wall and the failed breaker. As a mother with 3 small children I am so grateful our electrical issues were fixed and in a timely manner. I grew up with an electrician in the house and Robert surppased my expectations . He was very professional and also great with communicating his ETA and what was the issue with our electrical problem and how he would be fixing it.Thank you Big Red Electric for literally saving our lives and our home.P.S. My 3 kids are so excited the computer is working in the office again so they can get back to video chat with thier dad who has been stationed in another state the past year!!

Very nice, polite, super cool young man who's making an honest living. My wife and I needed to have a small amount of electrical work done.... she made contact with him at one of her friends home where he was doing electrical work. Very impressive. He's very reasonable !!!!! I would highly recommend him for any electrical needs you may have.

Big Red was on time, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He walked me through everything he was doing, asked me if I had any questions, and volunteered more information than any repairman I have ever conducted business with over me entire 40 years! For anything electric in the future... Big Red is my guy!
