Best Water in Austin TX
Excellent electric company! They were very quick to respond with an estimate by email. Even though their appointment availability was a few weeks out, they were well worth the wait! I have an older home with a list of electrical issues, and their service was high quality at an affordable price. I will definitely be using them in the future for additional electric work!

From my experience with this company do not trust them when they advertise on their website for a free quote. We ended up paying $79.00 for a trip fee for the tech to come out and give us the free quote. Aside from that the tech was courteous and professional and his van has a great paint scheme on the side.

He was very nice and knowledgeable. But in order for us to get an assignment of a leak, the company wanted to charge is 634 dollars to cut a hole in the wall to “maybe” locate the leak. They call this their “leak detection charge”. And if he couldn’t found it there, he would have to continue cutting holes which would be an additional charge for each hole he cut. And this price would not even go to the cost of the leak repair or to repair the damage to the wall. So we decided to look elsewhere. For $634, I will cut holes in my wall myself, find the leak and then call a real plumbing company!

Ken and Wayne were out yesterday to fix a malfunctioning kitchen light. The problem was found quickly and corrected. They have been here before and greeted me with cordial good to see you again and also told me to say hello to my husband and happy bday to my granddaughters! So professional and personable, too; this is the company for me!

I submitted a form on their website over the weekend, looking for a consultation on a full system and ductwork replacement. I received a call back first thing the following Monday from Brian (good so far!), and set an appointment with Brian for him to come by that following Thursday between 10 and 12.Brian did not show up for the appointment. I have received no follow-up call explaining the oversight, no email contact, no request to reschedule, no excuses for unexpected delays, nothing. One star for the initial responsiveness, but that's the lowest Google will allow me to give, frankly.First impressions are critical, and they completely failed with this one. At this point, even if they reached out to reschedule, I don't think I could trust that they'd show up to the next one, or install a new system on time, or do the quality of work that they say they will. Trust is broken and I would actively suggest you look elsewhere for your home or business mechanical service needs.I understand businesses are busy right now. All it would have taken was a quick call/text/email to ask to reschedule when Brian saw he wasn't going to be able to make the appointment. Instead, by completely wasting a potential customer's time like this, it's clear that Brian and Efficient AC, Electric & Plumbing are not interested in any new customers.

While I was working out of the country, renters in my home reported that there was a persistent leak coming through the kitchen ceiling from the attic. When I got home several days later, the problem had worsened, and I immediately saw that there was a break or something in the PVC pipe that drains the AC condensation. It was a Saturday evening; I left a voice message for the folks at Int Home & Commercial, and they returned my call Monday morning, and put me on the schedule for Tuesday, first thing. I had to leave Tuesday, so I called and asked if they could possibly get the tech out to fix the leak early on Monday. They said they would try to accommodate that, and, just an hour later, they called to tell me that a tech could come to my house right away. Great news! Chris Wyatt, a senior tech, showed up promptly, fixed the break very quickly, and gave me a report on the state of my AC unit, telling me the heat-exchange(?) mechanism would soon rust sufficiently to cause problems with gas leaking into the AC ducts, and that I should probably replace the entire system. It is a 30-year old TRANE system, and has served me perfectly well for those 30 years, but I decided to take his advice and replace it with a new, more efficient, remotely programmable system -- and they put me on the schedule for a week later. The installation was done in one day by Branden, Ryan, and Tyler, who came on time and did an excellent job on a long, hot day. In sum, I really can't say enough good words about the service I received from 1st Home and Commercial Services,a dn I HIHGLY recommend calling them if you need AC-related work, especially. I had used them previously to repair some of my AC ducts after rats/squirrels had damaged them, and that experience was also 100% positive, and with fair pricing. Five stars all the way.

Darvin came out and was friendly and professional. He was able to get my water heater on but the company charged $150 to turn it on which felt like they were taking advantage of me in a desperate situation. Nothing was wrong with my water heater, I was just not doing it right.
