DJ Cooke from Max Electrical Services left our house so much better than it was before. He replaced two 50 year old bathroom combo heater/light fixtures, figured out why our outdoor lighting system (which had been installed 15 years ago) wasn't working, fixed it and also made it much simpler to use. He explained everything patiently. The charges were lower than I expected even though it took two guys many hours to fix everything on our list (switches, outlets, other light fixtures...). When I offered to write a review, DJ said the owner, Mr. Maxwell, was unusually knowledgeable and that he was a great guy to work with. I would recommend Max Electrical Services to anyone.

Great work! Dan gets advises as he works on what he recommends you should do w/ your project as it relates to wiring, outlets and lighting. Also -- he guides you according to code. Claudia is very helpful w/ billing -- she gets you the invoice quickly and processes payments with no hassle. Great team and great teamwork.

We have used Duhon for two different projects and will continue to us them for all of our electrical needs. They are a great company to work with and are very professional. William and Damien take the time to explain all of your options, and if they are suggesting something that is needed, why it is needed. It is very refreshing to deal with true professionals and not some guy with a truck that you find on Craigslist.

I hate giving negative reviews.This is for work done in 2009. His technicians took a $100 Surefire flashlight, stuck gum on top a brand new ceiling fan, and didn't follow their own workscope for installing copalum wire nuts. I only found the gum because the fan ended up FALLING DOWN off the ceiling after they did their work and that is when I saw the gum stuck on one of the blades (I had originally installed the fan a couple weeks earlier). In 2012 we had a electrical short with a flash in a receptacle that was supposed to have had the copalum wire nuts and SURPRISE, no copalum wire nuts. This was not a receptacle that was hidden behind furniture or had difficult access. It was clearly visible, and unobscured on a bathroom wall.Mr. Dunman is a stand-up guy and gave us a discount on the work and paid for the flashlight in 2009. I did not have them fix their mess in 2012 because I had no confidence in their work. I just feel bad that he is stuck dealing with such a poor labor pool, I suppose he may need better screening methods to weed out the derelicts, but all small businesses run this risk.

I have hired at least three -- maybe four -- electricians since we bought our house four years ago for various issues. Our experience with Bowne has been SO GREAT, relative to any others. Their technicians really know what they are doing, they are excellent problem solvers, they schedule quickly and efficiently and come when they say they will. I was especially impressed with Ray, he is very pleasant and figured out how to wire and hang my exterior speakers which wasn't easy to do. AND they clean up after! So great!

I found this electrician after trying a few others. All of the lighting was installed with incredible skill. They provide the lights if you don't have the money for them and their pricing are also quite reasonable.

In a nutshell, he is an excellent electrician. Bright, well-informed, affable, and courteous. His work was excellent, and I would have no hesitation hiring him again for any future electrical needs. Nothing short of first rate in every respect!
