Best Commercial Electric Repair in Austin TX

Max originally came out a few months ago and did some work for us. He was awesome and extremely thorough. We had an issue today and I THOUGHT something might have gone wrong with the original work done. Max came back out and it turned out it has nothing to do with the electric work. Our disposal had locked up, causing it not to turn on. Even though it wasn’t his job, Max showed me how to reset the disposal and fixed the issue, and didn’t charge me or make me feel dumb for calling. I feel bad for wasting his time, but really appreciate that they were willing to come back out and follow up on the original work done and solve my problem even though it wasn’t related to their business or under their scope. I’m not sure if he will read this, but thank you so much Max.

Bon, Caleb and Edward were awesome. I thought I needed a breaker replaced but it turned out that my job was a little more complicated and, of course, cost more. TruTec has interest free financing, which allowed me to make the needed safety repairs without having to worry about how to pay for it all at once. The guys were great to work with, quickly diagnosed the problem and got the electricity back on. Communication was great too!

Appreciate that they don't lock you into a membership plan like many other companies, and they were able to come out next day to change a faulty breaker.

These guys are fantastic! This was the second time we have hired them. They were about 2 weeks out for scheduling after the walkthrough, but it rained the very next day so they squeezed us in! Alejandro came when he said he would and hooked us up with a new breaker and a dedicated line to our heater. It worked out great because we were able to use the heater on the coldest night of the Fall so far and we feel safe with the work they did. Priscilla is a pleasure to speak with and Luis is great also. I can't say enough about this company. We will hire them again and refer them to anyone who needs electric work in Austin. Dunman electric did a fantastic job. We got off to a rocky start with a slight miscommunication, but Becky took quick action and immediately made things right. The techs where both knowledgeable and professional. They even completed the job on a 40ft extension ladder (I rented) instead of insisting on a scissor lift. The amount I saved on not needing a scissor lift covered the entire bill from Dunman electric. I will use them again for my electrical needs. Refreshingly good customer service.

We called Malco Electric to replace our electrical panel after two separate recommendations from family and our realtor. We were impressed from the start when Randy, the owner, came out to our house to give an estimate - and the man is beyond gregarious. Unlike the other companies we called, Randy noted the need to ground the new panel. We were also anticipating a months-long wait time due to city permitting turnarounds but Randy also offered us an alternative to that - we had to move out for a couple weeks but are so grateful to Randy for thinking outside the box for us. Once we decided to move forward with the work, Randy called me almost daily with updates from the city from the time the power was shut off until we got word that the work was approved and electricity would be turned back on. The day the work was done (yes, just one day for a full panel upgrade), Randy was out there with his guys getting his hands dirty. We appreciated the excellent work and the customer service and we plan to use Malco Electric for all our future electrical needs.
