Best Residential Electrician in Jacksonville FL

Another great service experience with Ethan and American Electrical. I called on 12/27/19 to request yearly preventive maintenance for our Kohler generator. The call was scheduled for today 12/30/19, Ethan arrived on time and performed and explained the service call. I am very pleased with this experience and would heartily recommend American Electrical and Ethan for anyone needing home generator service.

These guys arrived on time responding to an emergency call due to me having an old (43 yrs) breaker for my a/c. It was a hot day in Florida and they were very understanding of my situation. I had the unpleasant event of having only 50% power in my apartments for about 3 days and I had to wait until the leasing office opened to get it fixed. Cameron and Keith came and found out that my main breaker had melted to my power box. They fixed my electric in less than 30 mins. They were extremely friendly and courteous. Burbank Electric came to my restaurant and promptly repaired a very important outlet that is integral to the operation of our business. They arrived within an hour of me calling them on the weekend. Jacque responded quickly to my emails. My house has old wiring and they were unable to hook up new wiring to the old for insurance reasons. Jacques was incredibly helpful in referring me to a company that could help.

Fantastic experience. Seeing dimming lights etc. throughout the house is certainly a very disconcerting experience. I thought I knew what the problem was but their tech Fred set me straight. It turned out he found the problem to be with the neutral connection on the JEA pole. Who knew (lol)? Fred kindly called JEA for me to report it and they were here in short order. The JEA guy concurred with Fred's diagnosis and fixed the issue. All is now fine and I can sleep peacefully tonight.
I highly recommend these guys. They are prompt (actually a little early), very competent and very professional and I will certainly call them for any future electrical issues.
