I had American Electrical upgrade my wiring for a new higher amp cook top. With having an older house, Lynnell and Caleb were able to rewire even though there were issues with support studs in the wall preventing them from easily running the wire. lynnell gave me options on how it could be done, which worked out well. Lynnell and Caleb were very professional and a pleasure to work with. Even with the added work, American Electrical honored the original quote for the work. I would highly recommend them for any of your electrical needs.

But the strangest thing the 4 point Adjustor wanted to know how much I was charged ? And he was serious ...

We had Empire Electric out to our home this morning to install our new Tesla Wall Connector. They did a fantastic job and both techs were personable and professional. They worked quickly and left my garage clean. All this for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Installation team showed up late, was told the tech had an emergency. Found out it was due to working on a trouble call for a previous job. They tried to reschedule for another but I took the day off work for install. Tech showed at 1 PM, then the apprentice went to lunch. They worked late got system running. Came back on Monday to finish, finished the job, left hardware all over the steps in garage, wife stepped on them doing laundry, didn't clean up. Had to return, tech didn't blow out the drain line properly and it clogged, replaced thermostat unnecessarily, failed city inspection, they fixed it. Today went to change the filter, I asked tech what the size was, he told me it came with one and it was installed. None installed, been running month, now coils are dirty, Salesman quit, supposed to fix it tomorrow. We shall see, until then off to Lowes to get a filter. I was going to have them do some electrical work, not now. The people were nice and the air has run very well since install. Its just been frustrating. Saga continued today, 9/24 received call from my wife who was angry she was chewed out by the owner for my review, I retuned the call and an argument ensued with the end result being 1. Owner stated he was going to send a tech out to show me how to clean the filter, um sorry sir, there was no filter, your tech didn't finish the job. 2. Owner noticed where I work using caller ID, made derogatory comment about Civil Service workers, liked my money though. Finally and most importantly this unit has a 1 yr parts and labor warranty and 10 years part from the manufacture,r the owner left me with the impression he would not honor the warranty. Caveat Emptor people, Buyer Beware. My comments about being happy and satisfied in his reponse are in regards to having A/C when it was the hottest part of summer. As for smearing a company, this is the first Google Review I have ever given in my life, no intention to smear but to inform others about our experiences dealing with this organization.

What a breath of fresh air! Called Lin’s after a recommendation from a coworker and was super impressed! I had a simple issue that could have resulted in a lot of money flowing from my pockets. Paul promptly called me back and guided me to the hidden GFI switch in my garage. He could have sent out a guy & charged me hundreds of dollars to simply press a switch and/or repair something that didn’t need repair. His responsive service has made Jax Electrical Contracting my go-to electricians for all my future needs.
