Best Switch Replacement in Houston TX
I give this electrician company five stars because Ryan the technician and the owner provided excellent customer service! I called today and Paul, the owner, was able to get Ryan to come out and repair a breaker that was causing my garage door, and five GFCI outlets to stop working. The price was reasonable and I'm not complaining after having to open my garage door manually for two weeks. This will be my electrical company for any future electrical problems that I may have. If you need someone dependable and knowledgeable with reasonable pricing, just call Paul Richard Electric.

A1 installed a new Generac stand by generator - the price agreed was fair and the included a few minor, but important things that I would not have thought about while other quotes for the exact same project wanted to charge extra for those! The work was done professionally and efficiently - the project management was on top of everything from start to finish and was always available to me for questions or concerns - maybe the best decision that I have made in many years contracting A1 and will recommend this company without hesitation! It now looks like the new generator has been here from the time the house was built!Jay Silverman

Brandon Turner did an excellent job replacing and installing our recessed lights. He identified and corrected several existing problems. He was patient, diligent and did not stop working on one specific light that The builder installed incorrectly. He worked on that light more than an hour until it was right! We did not have a surge protector for our home and Brandon informed us about the problems and high costs that would cause. He installed that as well. We now have lights that we will never have to change the bulbs on. We have additional electrical work and we will be requesting Brandon again.

**DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY**After reading through the 2020 NFPA NEC Code Book, I found that there were, at minimum, 15 different code violations on this installation. I hired this company to receive a trustworthy electrician, and received a ridiculously absurd bill (Over $5300 for a new outlet and a pool GFCI to be added) and this install was riddled with code violations. To add, there are copper clippings, wire clippings, wire nuts, and other parts that are choking and safety hazards for children and my puppy. Please see the attached invoice and cost comparison. Mister Sparky has refused to resolve this in any way and has acknowledged that they should have informed the technician that if a customer has their own material, and it is up to code, they can use the customer's material in lieu of the businesses. I have never had a company so effortlessly and egregiously screw somebody over. I had the displeasure of having service done by Mister Sparky in Houston. I received some quotes while I was in a work meeting and understood the pricing was around $1800 for the work to be performed, but upon receipt of my invoice that amount was $5365.20. I was immediately appalled, because I only had one outlet run to my garage and a GFCI circuit breaker installed. I thought there had to be a mistake. And there was! I had material provided that was not used and I was charged an ABSURD amount for the use of their own material. In addition, I was double charged for two outlets when I only had one installed. I was charged $594 x2 FOR ADDING AN OUTLET COVER. $1999 for Cable that I HAD AVAILABLE. After speaking with one of the managers, I was told I could receive a refund of $365 to cover the parts I already purchased. But, in doing so, I would have to be fine with paying over $4500 in parts they provided + labor. Absolutely not acceptable under any circumstances. To add insult to injury, the installation was not even done how I wanted. I did not want conduit to be run at all, I wanted it to be installed in the box into the house and not be an eye sore. I would never recommend this company to friends or family, but I would recommend them to someone I disliked, so they could get screwed over, too.

Anthony (eletrician) was an hour late to our house. His excuse was that his phone was out of batteries and that he didn't have GPS. Very unprofessional right off the bat.He poked around the breaker box in the house and the meter outside. From what he saw and measured with the voltmeter, nothing was wrong. He said that there was no way he could troubleshoot. Then he said he would check the breaker box again with another gadget and miraculously found the issue. His solution was for us to call CenterPoint. This whole process took less than 30 minutes and he ended up charging the full hourly rate of $148 per hour. Because he did not have a working phone, I went inside to grab my credit card to call the office to pay. I was greeted by the lovely Laura (wife of the owner). I asked her a few questions about the rate and why it was fair to charge customers for the full hour when the electrician only performed half an hour of work. She immediately started to raise her voice and yelled at me. She said that the rate was fully disclosed and that there was a minimum flat rate of $148 for the first hour (which was not mentioned at all in a previous call when we inquired about the rate). After a couple more rude exchanges, I ended up paying. She mentioned that the electrician would stay the full hour and inspect the house (i.e. change light bulbs), which I declined because I just wanted him out. I went outside to get the invoice from Anthony but he was no where to be found. Again, very unprofessional.I notified Laura that Anthony had left. She said he would come back with the invoice, but he never did. This was one of the most frustrating and worst experiences I have ever had and would never recommend Harmony Electrics to anyone I know. There are glowing 5 star reviews on Yelp, but I struggle to see how this company could deliver such service.

Andre was prompt, efficient and professional. He explained what he was doing and why, he was very reassuring about priorities and safety. He stayed longer after the repair to check which circuit was overloading and why, and was able to narrow it down to a space heater that was pulling too many amps, so this won’t happen again, and won’t destroy any wall plugs. He was able to give me a quote to redo the whole thing but there was absolutely no hard sell or scare tactics. I’ve been looking for a company to be our go-to; and I’ve definitely found it.

We had a great experience with this company. It as very easy to set up the initial appointment, the tech showed up on time, was very knowledgable, and the price was fair. We needed a breaker in our panel replaced and also had him add a hook up to the panel for a portable generator. Shaderick was the technician and he explained all of the options, suggestions, etc.... and on top of that he was a very nice guy! Highly recommend.

A lifetime client was made. I can’t explain how amazing the customer service was in my experience. I contacted on a Friday night at 6pm to let them know a portion of my house had no power. They literally were on their way home for the weekend and turned around to come help me and my family. This right there should show you how amazing of a company this is. They fixed my issue and were very professional. It just impressed me that they dropped everything and made me feel like the #1 customer. Highly recommended!!!
