Best General Repairs in Houston TX

Following a partial home power failure including our AC and stove on a Sunday, Paul Richard Electric responded to my request for an emergency appointment (note: other businesses had a vm on a Sunday). Paul came as scheduled and diagnosed the situation, called CenterPoint Energy for us, laid out the potential scenarios and options. Paul's commitment to helping us, providing detail cost alternatives and understanding of the entire electrical design (from transformer to unit) was spot-on.

We were having problems with a light fixture. Nicolas Anguiano came out to test things. When he opened the breaker box he found and showed us wires that looked burned at the breaker connections. I already knew about some breaker boxes in older homes should be changed out so when we saw how things looked inside we decided to spend the money and get that done. We thought the price was reasonable and they did a professional job within the time they estimated. We are pleased with their work.

Francisco did a great job. We were very pleased.

Though we didn't go with Mr. Sparky, Thomas was very professional and thorough. We appreciate his honesty.

Right Touch has done a wonderful job and is very professional and reasonable! They fixed a short circuit, added grounding and a power surge protector for the entire house,, and Alex and Rafael spent about two weeks rewiring the house. Isaac will come next week to swap out the bathroom heaters. I highly recommend Right Touch!

I’d pay very close attention when using this company.On one hand with work that they do they’re very good, which with electrical work, is very important. But they’re also very expensive, much more so than the average.But with electrical work they’re not interested in, be very careful.With one particular minor project I had (that was part of a few larger ones), I had requested a quote in writing (email) on two separate occasions. On both occasions I got responses to the rest of my query but was (blatantly) ignored with this other issue.So I waited until they came to my home to do some other work and was given a verbal quote. The project was to properly map out on my circuit-box, which circuits controlled which outlets, and hardware (washer/dryer, stove, fridge, etc); a two person project but no real electrical skill. When I got the invoice via email a day or two later I was charged more than quoted, even though I did most of work (I ran around the house, the other person stood at the breaker box). I had enough of being treated so poorly and too many other things going on so I just paid the bill.Additionally, prior to the above, there were two scheduled appointments at 8 a.m., both no shows, with no call in advance saying they were running late or had scheduling conflicts, as if my day did not matter, did not cost me in time, effort, etc. We all have issues/conflicts, that’s not the point, the point should be how they’re managed. This company is awful, it’s their way or the highway, when it comes to managing disruptions.While I hate the thought of suing, unfortunately it’s the only way to remedy situations like this, I should have sued for the cost of their cancellations and their over charge. They get sued a few times and when they’re running late or have to cancel, they’ll learn to call well in advance, as soon as they know (like any one common courtesy would) or bait & switch on price, my guess is their behavior would change.So on one hand I’d recommend this company because the work is very good but ONLY when it 100% suits them, but on the other hand, I’d be very very careful as this company has questionable ways of treating customers

I was referred fo them by family ! He had a great experience with a single electrician who came and got the job done ! I got sent a team of 3, the lead lied about how the outlet needs to go over the roof and gave an unrealistic fake situation to over charge us. Tried reaching out to the owner and help desk to hear various excuses ! Charging 1700$ for installing a Tesla wall plug which costs $400 is outrageous! They ended connecting using a 8ft cord but quoted us a 50 ft quote ! Will try this method and will be reaching out to Texas licensing authority in Austin !

I Love Mr. Electric. They were so professional and knowledgeable. I especially liked how they took the time to explain everything to me. Jeremy and Nathan were so friendly and wonderful. They made me feel so comfortable that I wanted to invite them to dinner! I will definitely call Mr. Electric again!

USE SOMEONE ELSE. I recently made the huge mistake of using this company. We had several a/c plugs in the laundry room and one on the outside by the back door that quit working. Their electrician spent about an hour trying to find the source of the problem. He never succeeded and insisted on charging around $180 for his time, even though he failed to find and correct the problem. I tried to reach a supervisor or customer service and they wouldn’t even bother to return my call. Ripoff artists....

The installation of electrical sockets and switches was well executed by them. We've worked with this firm on a number of occasions and have always had a positive experience. It was a pleasure to deal with them, and we were pleased with their professionalism, expertise, and reasonable price.

Never use this electrician!!! We had given them a simple contract to change the low amps cable to higher amp & they blew up our credit card machine, icy machine, 2 big freezers & printers in our store. It costed us twice of what we were suppose to pay them!!

I was searching for a good electric company to do my house electrical works and found Mr. Electric. Thought to try this company since I see the truck in our neighborhood very common recently. I am impressed with their electrical service. Very professional, on time and the electrician know what he is doing. Very knowledgeable. Economical too. Highly recommended.

When the storm arrived, all of our power went out for a few days, leaving us without electricity. The electrician repaired the box and brought the electricity back, and he left us with even better than before!

This was the most horrible electrician I've ever called. Mr. Sparky has been bought out and new owner. The electrician they sent out was fiddling with my electrical outlets and now been burdened with an enormous repair with another company. He did NOT know what he was doing. He was all over the map on his quote and kept back peddling when asked with a question. The quotes came back all over the map and was $$$ exhorbitant for what was needed. Not only have I now been saddled with enormous damage from the electrician at my home but I called the owner back, asked for the owner. He never called me back, sent his wife to call me. She laughed at me on the phone, refused to return my $89 service call and said they pride themselves on making money 100-200/week calls of $89. They are looking at volume and not integrity. The old Mr. Sparky reputation is gone. Mr. Sparky is no longer the owner. I would never recommend this company. Horrible! Customer beware!
