This is actually a tough review for me as I think the people (installers) at Dreamstyle were good dudes and overall I guess I'm satified with Dreamstyle for what it cost. But I am in the unique position of having both Anderson Windows and Dreamstyle work on my home. If I'm going to be honest, if you have the money ,go with Anderson Windows. The is nothing horribly wrong with Dreamstyle and Pella windows, but the process, quality, and follow through experience was night and day different with Anderson windows. I had the majority of my home (more than 5 windows and Sliding doors done with Anderson which was VERY expensive. So for the last three small windows I was looking to hopefully save some money and Dreamstyle was at least half the price for the last than Anderson quote. So even though I got the savings, I feel quality , workmanship , and communication, payment options are more organized and better with Anderson Windows. They all have disclaimers about cosmetic damage to the home and stucco, but for some reason for these last windows with Dreamstyle there was a LOT more damage/repair needed than with ALL the installs of Anderson windows. (I have included some photos to show some of the mess left and also the minor inside putty and paint work I will need to do now that the window have been installed as an example.) Again I'm sure these windows will be fine and hopefully last as long as warranty claims, and for cost savings I'll live with it. But I really feel this is one of those cases where you sorta get what you pay for. Im just trying to be honest.

My wife and I purchased our Home, a Midcentury Modern built in 1955 by Ralph Haver in the Arcadia neighborhood of Phoenix. The Home had original ungrounded wiring with exposed wire splicing. There were also two rooms that were added by a previous owner without permits.

Ultimately, we wanted to fully restore our Home to its original character, while at the same time, installing all of the safety, amenities and conveniences found in homes of new construction today.

We interviewed a handful of contactors for this task, Steve Shinn from Homework Remodels being one of them. Steve immediately stood out from the group. We found him easy to talk to, prompt and extremely knowledgeable with the historic characteristics of our Haver Home.

With Steve’s help, we nearly rebuilt most of the major components of our Home. When it was said and done, we upgraded the entire wiring and electric panel, installed new HVAC main unit and ducting lines, replaced all of the plumbing lines (both supply and drain lines including the sewer), installed LED recessed lighting throughout the Home, constructed a stem wall, a trench drain and added mini split HVAC units which the City required for issuing permits for the two unpermitted rooms, installed a 16” slider to the backyard, utilized steel beams to remove loan bearing walls in order to open up the kitchen and the living rooms, installed a tankless water heater system, applied sprayed insulation in the small attic, and performed various other upgrades.

We are very happy with Steve’s work. We found Steve’s work to be of high quality and found Steve’s expertise and creativity in helping rebuild our Haver Home to be invaluable.

We plan on hiring Steve in the near future to complete Phase 2 of our Home, which will include all of the finishes.

If you are looking for quality remodeling, Holtzman is the answer. From the time I met the sales representative, to the time the project manager debriefed me - the remodeling was nothing shy of outstanding. My bathroom remodel budget was going to be less than $10k, they wouldn't even come out and look at it.

I had a great experience with Brower Remodeling. Project was fair in pricing, we were able to get started right away and work was completed and cleaned up in a week. Ross and crew were always on time and very detail oriented. Would recommend to friends and family.

After months of looking for a contractor that I felt I could trust and understood my taste to remodel my master bathroom I found Spicegirls. Loved the concept that they are a women run business. I do not live in the US at this time and in so all of our decisions, pictures ect. were done virtually. I was updated regularly. My bathroom has turned out beautifully. Highly recommend.

Easy to communicate and very empathetic to the remodel. They not only managed my issues with bad weather and a whole load of old bathroom issues, but was open to working through the issues with patience and grace. I was a little pessimistic regarding this type of walk-in shower remodel with my older home - but found true artists of their skill. I'm not easily impressed but this time… Absolutely!! This review is written after contracting Stronghold Remodeling for our master bathroom remodel. We removed shower/tub combo and created one large walk in shower. Trevor and his team did an amazing job with our remodel design and install. He was professional, timely, and fun to work with. Trevor made the process easy from start to finish! We thought we would spend forever deciding what design to go with but he walked us through all the considerations. He turned around the installation in the timeline he promised (during COVID, to clarify) and was patient when other workers impeded his workspace. My master bathroom looks phenomenal. We will use Stronghold Remodeling again on any project, highly recommend!

Not happy with a tub. The jet tub installed looks like it has dirt ring around it. The floor of the tub is squishy. Not installed properly. Second bathroom looks like there is rust spots forming under the shower door rail. After less than 1 month.
