They took 20 minutes looking at the problem and cleaning the coils which did not help. They said we need to change the air filter and that they couldn't do it as they don't carry air filter with them. They sat in their van for 30 mins, the trainee smoking cigarettes. Then charged us $500 for an hours worth of work. Quoted us $1200 to add coolant. Decided to shop around as that seemed extremely high and I'm glad I did.Called another company who came and solve the problem same day, added 5lbs of coolant and charged us half the cost.The new company advised that there was leak in a coil and would eventually need to be repaired. How did Penguin not see that if they supposedly clean them. I feel completed taking advantage of because I'm woman with no knowledge of how these units work and they knew that. They knew I have 4 small children I have to keep cool in the house, I'm in a desperate situation and they wanted to capitalize on that and over charge me.

I had such a great experience working with Tom for the two repairs needed at my home. Tom arrived on time and was extremely friendly and professional. He took his time making sure that his work was thorough and correct. Without asking, he even added extra notes to my invoice as he knew I would be submitting it to the city for reimbursement. I am so pleased with his work and will continue to use this company should any further plumbing issues arrive in the future. Thank you Tom!

I’ve never realized how dishonest a once thought to be reliable company could be! Had a Parker and Sons tech come out to my house to repair our air conditioner. I was outside with my grandchildren when the tech who was on the roof looks over at me and says, “oh no, looks like the evap coils. There are very large leaks throughout.” He then spoke to me and my husband and quoted us $6600 to replace the coils. That didn’t seem right to me. I asked about just replacing the unit. He quoted me no less than $18000! He had me fill out an application for financing since we don’t have that type of money, causing a ding on our credit reports. He then asked us to sign up for their service plan which is $14.00/mo. I will be canceling this Monday. After he left I called another company referred to me by a family member. He came out and had my air fixed in 30 mins by replacing the capacitor for $180. I am so disappointed in Parker and Sons. I will be posting my experience on all social platforms, calling 3 on your side, Joe knows, and letting all my friends know about the dishonesty we experienced.

Excellent service from a company you can trust!There was a noise coming from our garbage disposal that sounded like gears grinding. So, we called ProSkill Services with the expectation of having to replace our garbage disposal.ProSkill Services sent Craig S. to our home to evaluate the problem. Craig arrived on time, and in less than one minute discovered a very small piece of a broken plastic spoon wedged in the disposal. Using needle nose pliers, he quickly plucked out the piece of plastic, and the disposal was quiet once again and running well.As it turned out, we did not need an expensive garbage disposal replacement as first thought. And, because we have an annual service maintenance agreement with ProSkill Services, there was no charge for the visit or the removal to the offending plastic object.As an added service, Craig also took the time to explain how we could extend the life of our present garbage disposal by performing a quick and simple maintenance task once every month (greatly appreciated).We have used ProSkill Services for over five years for repairs and preventive maintenance of our plumbing, water softener, water heater, electrical, and HVAC system. I had a great experience with this company. I found out about it at a home show. My house is about 19 years old and had some issues, especially in keeping the upstairs cool in the summer. As an engineer, what I liked about this company was that they came out, took measurements and pictures, and discussed the results with me in detail. After visiting my house, there was a follow-up visit with recommended improvements. Again, I discussed this with the sales rep in detail. There was no hard selling involved. In fact, I did not go with the full set of recommendations, just the set of items that I thought I would get the most benefit from.

Additionally, the fact that APS covers some of the cost via rebates, was helpful in my situation. The company sent out a crew of 4 people that were able to get the work done in one long day. Immediately the following week, my house felt much more uniform in terms of the temperatures. It was also much quieter as well as the AC did not kick on with nearly the frequency it had the week before.

The air conditioners are more quiet when running as well. I am not sure if this is due to more insulation assisting with the noise, or if the improvements to the intake of the units that I made allowed them to breath easier. Both of my units, the upstairs and down, had issues that were causing them to pull in quite a bit of intake directly from my attic (not good). I am looking forward to my first summer in 19 years where I have a good shot at having a home cooling system that will operate as designed.

This service is valuable as most builders really just build to the minimum code requires rather than having an interest in what your electric bill is 6 months after you move in. I would gladly do this in any future home, not only for the savings, but for the comfort factor as well.

I greatly appreciate all the work that Andrews Electric did. We were selling our home and needed a brand new electric panel, GFCI outlets and had a faulty outlet out back. Andrews Electric did an amazing job with getting everything completed for us in a timely manner. They were very communicative and efficient and price was very reasonable for all the work needing done. I would especially like our to shout out Randy, CJ, and John. I would recommend Andrews Electric to anyone needing work done!

They do AC repairs or any AC issues and they install a AC unit at my house. They're very friendly and have reasonable prices I recommend them.

Great customer service and great price!

The work was not done at my house but at friends and saw the progress. In the beginning they were nice but as items thebut once the job started it was different. The bathroom remodeling issues, the tile in the shower has cracked, the shower head is to low not for average person height, the towel rack n toilet paper holder has had to be replaced since what they installed fell out. The ac and duct work after installed the house was warmer on one side trying to get them put was a process in itself but each time they came they said everything is fine n was trying to upsell nsaying they need an additional unit. They had another company cone out and was told the wrong installation was installed, duct wrong was incorrect. I would not recommend this company at all and would give negative stars if possible.
