I had a number of concerns about my AC system after a home inspector tagged a few different areas of concern. Preferred Air had every opportunity to find a bunch of problems and charge me for each, but the contractor spent close to an hour crawling around my attic, taking photos, testing the drip lines, checking all my vents etc only to tell me everything looks fine and recommend regular maintenance in the spring. The assessment was affordable and I felt the contractor was honest and genuine. He answered all my questions, showed me photos and examples, and gave me a full range of options. He gave me prices for maintenance and future, non-urgent repairs and encouraged me to focus on other areas of the house before worrying about the HVAC. I will definitely return as a customer.

Will did a fine job and was professional once he arrived. But Please note the arrival time frame was supposed to be between 7 am and 12 noon but tech arrived around 12:45. I called customer service at 8 pm to obtain an estimate of timeframe and was told I was first on the techs list. The estimate provided was approximately 10 am. That wasn’t very professional to give false expectations. Don’t make any plans for the day!

We called Marlin to be put on a regular service program twice a year. Robert was the technician for the first appointment. He was very knowledgeable about our unusual system and advised us of all he was doing. We encountered some issues later Friday evening so we called and he returned the call in just a few minutes, gave us instructions and then returned Saturday morning to solve the problem at no additional cost! We will ask for him in the future and are glad we contracted with such a reputable company.

We called Walker Plumbing based an a recommendation from a coworker. We had other estimates, but what made us choose Walker was responsiveness to our request for an estimate, our technician Jodi was on time for the quote, and it was a better price then the others. The work was able to be scheduled quickly. Jodi was on time for the work, and a bit early, which we were grateful for. He was professional, kind, and communicated with us throughout the whole process. We will definitely use Walker Plumbing in the future!

The Director of Operations Steve Stahl is unprofessional and made racist comments about Mexicans during employee meetings. I gave my lead Charlie the reasons why I had put my 2 weeks notice and it included Steve Stahl making racist and disrespectful comments about Mexicans. As a result I was let go early for putting my 2 weeks notice and with the reasons behind it being the racial discrimination and the comments Steve Stahl made. This company does not offer equal opportunity. I've used Alliance Plumbing for almost 10 years and just referred them to my son who is board president of a small non-profit organization. They are affordable, honest and did as great a job for him as they did for me for many years. Thanks, guys!
