I am so happy I called 1-800 Water Damage. From the very first phone call, I could tell they were an amazing company. Not only did they make it to my home in less than an hour after I called them, but they answered all of my questions and helped me understand the entire process with my insurance company. Calling them was the best decision that I made. They handled all of the flooding in my home in LESS than 72 hours. And that's say A LOT since I accidentally flooded two bathrooms, a hallway,my master bedroom, a closet, and a connecting wall! At first I felt totally embarrassed because I had left the bathtub running for well...a very long time - but they were so professional and I instantly felt like I was in good hands. Communication to you as a customer is terrible. Even after repeatedly asking for communication, long lengths of time went with no response just for me to reach out again. Communication within the company is also very poor. Empathy and assurance are no where to be found.
Some contractors will be sent out by GoToServices that they contract with, the work is not actually always done by them, just so you are aware when possibly planning some type of repair. Don’t always believe them when they say “we are sending out one of our best people” yet a company truck will pull up for a different business. Can be very… “snake in the grass” with wording and approach. Listen carefully.
VIDEO RECORD ALL REPAIRS AND COMMUNICATIONS WITHIN YOUR HOME. I unfortunately did not. People will say that communication never happened, items will be broken and you need to supply proof of them damaging items. Yes, some things were owned up to and taken care of but others are ignored.
Project was not completed. Left over work to be completed. Left over trash after EVERY visit. Promises to clean after repairs, that never happens.
Took a repair that should have been done within a couple weeks and have now gone 5 months with no resolution. Contractors sent out continue to damage items or other parts of the home unrelated. Company now stating that no resolution is available and they are ending communication based on actions.
If I ever have a choice to go elsewhere, it’s high on my consideration list considering my most recent experience.

The difference between a good, great and amazing company is not just the quality of the finished product, but also how the company interacts with their clients and addresses any issues that may arise. That is what makes ASAP an amazing company! We were displaced from our home for 5 1/2 months due to water damage caused by a plumber installing a water softener. We called ASAP to complete the reconstruction on recommendation of a friend as we were not happy with the ethics of the remedial company the plumbing company had called in. From the very beginning ASAP was by our side. A few bumps in the road were handled quickly and efficiently, and it was quite evident that this is a company that cares about the quality of their work and the client relationships that they build. A very special thanks to Tony for taking the time out of a very busy schedule to meet with us to address some minor concerns; Doug - a huge thank you! Your personal attention to our situation and helping walk us through the muddy waters of dealing with a 3rd party claim was amazing! Couldn't have kept my sanity without your help. John, our project manager - words cannot express how thankful we are for all of your hard work and support throughout this entire process. Your personal attention to your clients is unsurpassed! You are a gem! Last, but certainly not least, a huge Thank You to all of the crews that worked on our home over the last several months, not only did you meet expectations, you exceeded them by far. The water line on my fridge busted and flooded my kitchen late at night, the Technicians responded quickly and promptly and were very helpful. Clean up was fast and they got drying equipment running the same night. They did the demolition efficiently and got my kitchen put back together in less than two weeks. I was very pleased with their kindness and helpfulness.
