On Thursday, June 4th, 2020 we came home to a flooded home due to the toilet water supply hose breaking. I called Arizona Fire and Water to come and do the cleanup. Their reviews seemed rather good. Although we had to relocate to a hotel for the next five days, we felt confident that they would do a good job. We handed over a set of keys for them to use. They told us that they would be using a lock box on our house. On Saturday morning I returned home to pick something up and I had forgotten my keys at the hotel. I called my partner to tell him to call AZ Fire & Water to get the lock box code so that I could get in. To my surprise, they had not locked our home and I was able to enter without my keys. Anyone could have walked right into our home once they were gone. We informed them of their HUGE oversight as well. Upon entering I noticed items missing as well as damaged. They did inform us of damaging our bookcase which was unrepairable, but they did not inform us of other damage.
Once payment came due our insurance company requested verification for overcharged services and materials. AZ Fire & Water would not comply. This information was requested at least three times. Every time they did not respond. One of the fees was for HAZMAT PPE. We were at our home for a few hours before we left for our hotel on that Thursday and did not see one employee of AZ Fire & Water doffing HAZMAT PPE. I work in an industry in which I knows what this is. Jeans and shirts are NOT PPE.
Once they determined that our insurance company would not pay the $1500 overcharges, they came after us for payment. We told them that they had the chance to get paid. They threatened a lien on our home. I expressed that if they tried to do that, we have enough evidence to defend ourselves in court. I had to file a police report for my missing items as well, as they are valuable and very sentimental. They have not to this day replaced our damaged items or compensated us for the items that came up missing.
I would NOT recommend this company.

1-800 Water Damage is the only water damage mitigation and remediation company that I will ever use or recommend! They responded within 60 minutes of my call. When they arrived, they had all of the equipment they needed...no trips back to the shop! They were extremely respectful and very professional at every step of the process. I would really rank them as a 10 (STARS)!

Go To Services were FANTASTIC to work with! They were extremely professional, responsive, and most importantly DID THE JOB RIGHT. We hired them to fix a tenant improvement that our landlord's contractor performed that was not to code. Go To Services fixed the issues and did amazing work. Pedro was especially conscientious and a highly skilled worker. I would recommend Go To Services for any building maintenance repairs or tenant improvement needs you may have. They get the job done right, on time and for a very reasonable fee!

When a pipe under my kitchen sink burst and flooded my house, I was not only devastated but I felt completely lost. I am extremely fortunate that I found Ryan at Square One Restoration. He immediately put me at ease from the very beginning. His confidence and calm demeanor were extremely reassuring. I was unable to go to a hotel during the reconstruction as I couldn't leave my horses unattended, but Ryan provided daily updates on what work was being done and what time the crews were expected to arrive the next day. I feel like he moved mountains to make sure I was as comfortable as could be expected during this whole process, living in a home that had bare floors, bare walls, no kitchen sink, etc. Whenever I had questions, Ryan was always responsive and patient...no matter how silly my questions may have been.
I would leave for work in the mornings and I would come home to find noticeable progress towards completion each day. Ryan even made sure that his crew knew that my cats were locked in one of the bedrooms and were not to be let out while the construction was being done. He even had a back up plan if one escaped ( shut all the outside doors ASAP ).
Ryan dealt with my insurance adjuster(s), even when they were non-responsive. He politely kept on them to keep things moving. I had an upcoming surgery that would render me practically bed-ridden for awhile so it was imperative that the reconstruction be completed prior. Ryan made it happen. I have practically a brand new home and I am so thankful for how smoothly this whole process went. My home is absolutely GORGEOUS and I have no doubt the outcome would have been very different had I not found Ryan at Square One.
