I contacted Standard Plumbing to take care of several plumbing issues we had at our home. They were quick to get to us and showed up on time, very professional and went above and beyond to take care of all of our concerns. I was very pleased with the quality of their work and would recommend them to anyone for their plumbing needs.

We purchased a 90+ year old home in Oakland back in June. One of the most urgent things we needed to get done was to get our sump pump replaced. As simple as it may sound, to our surprise, it took us MONTHS to find someone that offered an expert solution at a reasonable price.

What do I mean by expert solution? With city codes of not mixing rain water with drain water, proper drainage, etc. different plumbers offered different solutions (over 10-15 different solutions), which was beyond overwhelming as first-time homeowners.

Finally, November/rainy season rolled around and we couldn't wait any longer. I found Andy on Nextdoor who was highly recommended by neighbors. I texted him on a Saturday or Sunday, Andy came over on 8am Monday morning, offered to fix the sump pump right there and then with a proper solution, all at a reasonable price.

He did a great job - his work was clean and aesthetically pleasing while fixing our problem! He is honest, transparent, fair and will not try to oversell you on things you don't need. He will be our go-to plumber! Thank you, Andy!

The Technician came out and did a great job of installing a tankless electric water heater.

Elise did routine upkeep on hot water boiler as well as some plumbing improvements around my home. She was skilled, knowledgeable, and polite. Company had amazing communication from appointment booking to invoice break down. Can’t endorse enough.

Ronnie is top notch!!! We had a main sewer line backup into our home. Ronnie came out, on an emergancy call and helped my husband not only find the problem( and called the city to have it cleared) but spent several hours helping my husband clean up the mess. Way above and beyond!! Don’t call those other chain companies, local and small businesses like Ronnie’s care about the people!! Thank you Ronnie!!!

Joseph's plumbing does awesome professional work, he came after work hours to solve my drainage problem at a price that didn't make me feel like I was getting taken advantage of, if you have any plumbing issues don't hesitate to give him a call, I surely will the next time I have any plumbing problems!

Disappointed with choosing small business/Mom and Pop shop. Should have gone with the more expensive plumber. Replaced a sink basket under kitchen sink - didn't ask about color so now I have two sink drains that don't match. Left putty all around drain - will hopefully rinse away eventually. Then asked to replace shower arm - should have left well enough alone. Old shower arm broke off so we had to scramble to decide what we were going to do (didn't want to rip out all plaster/tile, etc.). Our painter who was there actually jumped in and helped. Plumber did not test to make sure new shower arm would properly attach. Didn't discover this until the next day so called him back out and was charged for service call again. I spent $300 for something that should have really been about $150 max. The extra $95 service call fee is what capped it all off for me. I feel like I got completely ripped off. The plumber just acted like he wanted to hurry up and be done. From now on, I'm calling Mullin or RotoRooter.

I'll start by saying we are very pleased with the completion of our kitchen remodel. We hired George and his company to do the remodel based on other quality work they did for us in our condo. His quote was competitive. Overall the job was completed on time and within budget. The minor hiccups that occurred (what major project doesn't have any) were handled professionally and quickly by George and his team. Great care was taken to minimize any mess. GR Repair and Maintenance is highly recommended.

Awesome is an overused term, but it's the same response my wife and I both had. Since our addition has been completed, the water pressure in the shower has never been what we expected. Recently, after having another plumber come out and make it worse, I asked a friend for a recommendation. My friend highly recommended Joshua Tree Plumbing and said they always fix the issue. He said they were 5/5 for him, so I figured I'd give them a try. I called Josh and he was at my house within an hour. He gave me an accurate up front price and was finished within about 45 minutes. The shower has NEVER worked better, even when brand new! The water pressure is...awesome. Josh was as or more professional and knowledgeable than any plumber I've ever dealt with before.

In summary, after years of searching, Joshua Tree Plumbing is now my go to plumber.
