Got home from work at 5 and realized the AC wasn't working. We have a 1 yr old so we had to get it fixed, 100+ outside and it was already 83 in the house . Called A#1 Air and they couldn't come until the next morning...maybe. Called Baker Bros and the scheduler was so nice, she found a service person and said he would be out sometime in the next few hours. Dale showed up not an hour later, assessed and fixed our issue (plugged drain pipe), cleaned our AC unit and installed a blow out valve so we can keep this from happening again. We signed up for the family plan which gets us a year of maintenance for our AC, Furnace, and plumbing which cut our bill by over half. Great, prompt, comprehensive service.

UPDATE: Turns out the tech didn't really fix the clog, just moved it down the pipe so we had to deal with a decent water leak ALL weekend. When we called Saturday morning to ask for someone to come out they couldn't get to us until Monday which meant we got to set a timer and wake up all hours of the night to empty the buckets. Once the clog was fixed we had to call a third time because our house was still not cooling.....he went into the attic and let us know that our attic fans weren't working. Why didn't he do that first time out?

But hey, we are friends and family now so we can call them to take a look at a lower cost....right? THEY CHARGED US $227 to tell us that our fans were broken and that it would cost lots to replace them. NOTE: they have high diagnostic fees...so keep that in mind if you ever use themand get pulled into the friends and family sham. The paperwork and estimates they provided us were ridiculous, didn't really break down the costs or give me any new information....already knew the fans were broken...I feel like we got suckered into this friends and family plan that really isn't that helpful if you need them to come give you valuable information to fix a real issue.

H&H Plumbing, 5217 Davis Boulevard 76180, was very adaptable to my needs mechanically and mentally. I needed a waterline hooked up to the icebox and a shower head with a long reach hose installed. I always fear ANYONE in my house due to CPTSD. I called the office the morning of my appointment, at the beginning of an anxiety attack. The Lady who answered the phone did not hesitate or ask why, when I asked her if she could describe the person who was scheduled to come to my home. After she describe him for me, I explained I had anxiety about letting anyone in my house. When Zac arrived, there was no hint of you’re nuts lady. He got right to work and let me ramble on and on, play my music, and ask questions to calm down while he worked. He left no hint of pushing or prodding feeling. He was very quiet, calming, professional, and respectful. I came into this (needing a plumber) scared and worried from way too many horror stories. Zac made my experience feel more like a counselor and friend than just a plumber. His work top notch, clean, and completed in a timely manner. If you are interested I found H&H Plumbing by searching the BBB web site and cross referencing reviews… you know because I’m paranoid, and wanted a legit company…

$700 down the toilet. AC repair lasted 2 months then unit died. They wanted $3000 to replace. Another repairman blamed dead unit on faulty wiring by WHM. Replaced it for me for $1500 and its working well. Obviously I am not happy with service by WHM.
