Best General Repairs in Fort Worth TX

From the beginning of scheduling the service until completion, the team at Service Squad Plumbing was excellent. Loy the service technician explained all options to my wife, then had her call me to explain as well. He used laymen terms to explain all three options and recommended what he thought was the best option to save money and repair the situation for long term use. Greatly appreciate the honesty and workmanship.

Only company to immediately answer the phone without rerouting me when I had an emergency slab leak on a Saturday. Their service tech Mo came out quickly, figured out the problem and was on the phone arranging diggers for a Sunday to expose the leak for repair and recommending a great water damage restoration service. So kind, reassuring, and professional - and on top of that reasonably priced!

Excellent and knowledgeable customer service. Very personable. Willing to help with even the smallest problem. I've never had them try to up-sell or swindle me. They'll recommend the right part and service, not the most expensive one.

I have only good things to say about Wilson Home Services. I have been using them for 3 years. Jonathan did a good job with all three plumbing issues in the last 3 years. Adam was very detailed with my water heater installation and fixing of a water leak next to the water heater. Recently Morgan did a wonderful job with fixing my A/C unit. You guys do hire good people. Best of all, you guys are very responsive when I needed you.

I had a sewer blockage on a recent Saturday morning. Called ABC just because they were nearby. I didn't know who else to call. This turned out to be an absolutely excellent customer service experience. Bryan answered the phone and explained what he could do in a clear manner. He arrived about 20 minutes later after completing a job in NRH. Upon arrival, he very carefully went over what he would do and the charges I could expect. He was fast and friendly. He had the line cleared in about 15 minutes and then explained the 30-day guarantee and a future optional visit to send a camera down the line to look for possible problems that could cause additional issues. The fee for today's service was very reasonable. I highly recommend this firm and will use them in the future without hesitation.

I contacted American Leak Detection regarding a leak in my pool. The pool was leaking approximately 1inch each day. The technician Mitch Gonzalez was here Friday 12/6/2019. I was surprised at the amount of equipment he brought. He told me not to worry he would find the leak. He was here for many ours before he found the leak wearing his complete wet suit and air tank. I could see he recommended the best method to correct the problem and he did not try to over charge me. I highly recommend this company and especially the technician Mitch Gonzales to help you with any leak.

Great Service! I have had Mars Carpet Cleaning as my main Carpet needs vendor and they are AWESOME!! My favorite tech is hands down Dean! Russell came out yesterday and repaired the leak in the ac drain. The leak ruined the living room floor. He not only repaired the leak, he went beyond that and also contacted American Water Damsge to come out and give us a free estimate! He called me later to make sure they contacted us. Great service and wonderful company!
We've also had a kitchen drain issue and Lyle came out. He is very professional and a very nice man.
It's nice to know that there are still good people out there. I would recommend this company to anyone needing a plumber.

I love this team! They are all so friendly and professional. They responded to my leak questions and had a time to come out super quick! I will be using them again!

I purchased an entire new unit from Metro Energy in May 2019. Within 2 years the capacitor went bad. I paid for it not realizing it was a part that was under warranty. In Feb 2022 the heat went out. They came and said my unit was dirty and tried to sell me filters and a 3k cleaning system. Two days later the heat went out again. They came back out and repaired it. They performed maintenance on the unit late March 2022, still trying to sell me their filters and cleaning system. Fast forward to this month and the heat goes out again. This time the motor is blown. Their only reasoning each time they have to come out is that my filter is dirty and cause the unit to clog. I change my filters like clockwork every 30 days using the reminder on the thermostat. I googled dirty filters and my filter that has been in the unit for 20 days looks nothing like the filthy filters pictured. Even though the motor was under warranty, I got hit with a labor charge of over $400 for less than an hours work. When I called to speak to someone about the price of labor, I was told I would get a call back from a manager but that has not happened. From the reviews that I have read other customers have purchased new systems around the same time that I did and their units are breaking down every few months as well. It looks as if the product is subpar or we were not given new units that we were told we were getting. I used Metro Energy for over 15 years but now that I know I can use the manufacturer's authorized dealers, I will be finding a new HVAC company to service my unit because there is no reason for a brand new unit 3 years old to be having problems every 6 months and they are constantly blaming it on the filters while trying to sell their additional products. Something needs to be done regarding these bad units. #classaction
