I've used their services twice now and I'm happy. I've had them swap a water heater and repair a leaky arrow valve outside. I also had them look at a toilet because I suspected it was leaking. They were able to troubleshoot and tell me it was a simple issue without charging for a crazy unnecessary repair. Prices seem to be straight forward and up front, not sure how price compares to other companies.

Awesome service! I had a pipe with a leak and had to turn off all water to the house. I called that day and they had someone to me within a couple of hours and they repaired the issue same day. For same day emergency services, their prices were very fair. I will definitely use them in the future and refer them to friends and family!

Best most courteous team of plumbers around. They've redone my water and sewer line from the street to the house and also replaced most of the old cast iron plumbing under the house. They have the ability to finance those big jobs if you qualify. Don't hesitate to get that plumbing fixed if you're having issues. Highly recommend!

We had a stoped up sewer line and the technicians came out and did a thorough inspection and isolated the issue by running a camera through the line and isolating the problem. The technicians were very thorough and dis a great job flushing out the line and correcting the problem. These guys were great!

Liars and (would-be crooks). A couple of weeks before Christmas 2018, Michael ran a camera through our sewer line and said the problem was under the house and we only had one, maybe two more flushes. He said he could have a crew out the next day at 7am to rip up our new wood floors and jackhammer the foundation in our infant daughter's bedroom to the tune of around $10,000++. He told me this as my daughter is crying on my shoulder and that he understands it's right before Christmas. Like that matters. We got not one but two second opinions who said the line under the house was fine. Texas Plumbing had previously replaced a part of the line outside the house. We watched the work being done. It was all above board so we didn't think twice about calling again, therefore Michael's dishonesty was a surprise. I guess he wanted to have a big Christmas. My daughter is four now and the pipe under our house is still just fine. Thank goodness for second opinions.

Our drain line was backing up and needed replacing. After calling around this was the only place that could even be here within the week and they were here same day. They quickly got my drain cleared and got me a quote on replacing the old sewer line due to its compromised integrity. As soon as we told them we were ready, there was a team knocking on my door at 8 am sharp the next morning to begin working. They stayed most of the evening until the job was complete. All 90 feet of my old drain dug up and replaced with beautiful new PVC all in a days work. I am grateful for the speed, efficiency, and professionalism Texas Plumbing Repair showed when dealing with my family’s personal emergency. Even after receiving payment they returned next morning 730 am sharp to be present for the city inspection. I highly recommend this company.

Rarely do I write a review, but this was a no brainer! Michael and his team at Texas Plumbing Repair came to the rescue when we had an urgent need, fitting us in to their already full schedule. After fixing the first water heater, another unrelated problem arose the next week. Again, they went WAY above and beyond — getting parts replaced by the manufacturer for free even though they were technically out of warranty and coming right back out to get us up and running before a impending winter storm hit. We were brand new customers to them and they were working on equipment they didn’t install. The company that did install the equipment during construction told me that they would not service equipment after the first year — at all! Texas Plumbing pulled through and turned our frustration around. They could have taken advantage of our situation, but they didn’t. I recommend them without hesitation and hope you have the same experience we did!

All of the toilets in our residence stopped working & our home warranty (American Home Shield) refused to get anyone out to help us for a week. After going back and forth with them for days and having to go to a grocery store down the road to use the bathroom, we finally decided to go look for an independent plumber.

We called TPR at around 10 PM Saturday night. Michael with TPR showed up the next day (Sunday) to check what was going on. Then, they were able to get us scheduled & our main line fixed the very next morning. They were prompt, very kind, incredible communication & explained everything throughly, and did a great job quickly. They were able to show up, diagnose the problem, and fix it, all before my home warranty was even going to be able to get someone to come look at the problem. I was very pleased with how quickly Texas Plumbing Repair responded to my plumbing emergency. They had a crew at my house within 15 minutes of my call and they contacted a restoration company for me to start the water remediation who was here within 2 hours.
The person I first spoke to from Texas Plumbing also checked back with me periodically during the day to see how things were going and to make sure I was being taken care of.
Good customer service is hard to find these days but Texas Plumbing knocked it out of the park with their customer service.

I called Texas Plumbing Repair because one of our older homes was having plumbing issues. They came out the next day and diagnosed the issue (rotted old cast iron pipes under pier and beam foundation). They offered a fair price to replace all the old pipe with PVC.

Very great company! Will call again for issues. They installed a new tankless water heater and we had some issues with the electrical company that followed up (not associated with them) saying the T.W.H. was incorrect for our current breaker and a new wire for a 50 amp breaker (we had a 40 amp) would have to be ran. Texas Plumbing Repair pulled their own electrician (busy earlier that day) and their manager both personally came out on a Friday evening for a second opinion. Their electrician confirmed this T.W.H. can be updated to 50 amp breaker without rewiring. They covered the electrician charge due to the inconvenience. Just amazing. After completing that very evening, it popped the next morning but not since. I talked to the manager through this whole process and he was so helpful and professional. As were the related employees. Prices were fair for the new installation. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough about this companies excellent service they provided during a stressful time. I had a pipe break and Scott and Justin were very professional and reassured me they would stay until they found the break and fixed it. Steve came out because I had spoke with him earlier and they were the only ones I could find that understood I had a problem that needed immediate assistance. I felt very confident in their work. They were here until about 10:30 (and it was very cold) at night and found the break and repaired it. I could go on and on about I highly recommend this company and will use them again for any plumbing problems. Great customer service!!!

I called Texas Plumbing when our water heater went out last week and water was going everywhere. This was on a Monday morning. The understanding and kind person told me they would have someone here no later than 1:00 PM. Two men were here by 10:30 AM after keeping me updated on their arrival time twice. They were extremely professional and courteous. They were knowledgeable and in and out quickly and our problem was over as quickly as it started. Their rate was less than we paid a different company six years ago and we couldn't be happier with their service. Compared to the terrible experience and waiting all day for someone to arrive that day six years ago, this was a breeze. We have some other plumbing work to be done and I would never call anyone else. Thanks so very much.

Ask questions upfront! Was never advised to run a camera in the beginning for a guarantee. Cost $229 for a main pipe clean for my home. Way over priced compared to other guys with just as high ratings. The conversation that had with the tech vs what was out in their notes was very different. I was never advised anything. I was never suggested anything. It's my first time needing a plumber. Lesson learned. Had I been told about the camera being used I would've went that route. Instead, his price to run a camera was being discounted $275 and charged for another full cleaning at $229. They don't know if they fully cleaned it or not. All they did was run a snake through the main line and because the water didn't backup, it was resolved when it backed up again 3 days later. That's how they make their money folks. I called ace plumbing and they charge $249 for the camera and $149 for the cleaning. They are also rated higher in ratings. Do your homework before involving these guys.

Needed a sewer line to my building installed and did not know where to start. Texas Plumbing Repair came out for a Free On Site Estimate and I had a email sent to me with the detailed work and exact cost to get my sewer line replaced. Texas Plumbing Repair did not go a penny over the original quote and was extremely impressed with the detailed invoicing. Thank you Guys

What an awesome experience and very knowledgeable staff this company had. They responded very quickly and on time which to me speaks volumes. The price was great as well so that along with the others made it a no brainer for me and will definitely use them again. FYI even my neighbors called them and had an awesome experience as well! I had one problem with Texas Plumbing that brought my review from a 4 or 5 to a 1. I don't like surprises so was not happy when they came up with a Parts and Supplies charge of $24.50 after the service. I talked to the technician's manager and the owner and they both said I was told about the charge when booking the service and by the technician that morning. Not true. I feel Texas Plumbing just added this charge as a way to jack up the bill without telling me beforehand. This was a clog removal so there were no parts or supplies used. Not a legitimate charge. Don't reward them with your business!

The team was prompt, professional and cost competitive. My drain clog turned into a slab leak . The owner and his team kept me apprised of the situation and completed the work within one day. I'm completely satisfied.

I couldn't ask for better customer service! Our plumber showed up on time for our scheduled appointment, which is a huge pet peeve for me. He was able to quickly identify the problem and even explained how it happened and what we can do to prevent it from happening again. Plus he had all the necessary parts with him so the problem was resolved that day.

I received a call ahead of the scheduled appointment from Mike to discuss the problems I was concerned about. He actively listened to what I had to say and recommended a course of action which he conveyed to his team. When the team arrived at my house, Justin and his co-worker were extremely courteous and went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled and informed me what they were doing and what to look for in the future.

I have really enjoyed haveing Texas plumbing come out because every time they come out they have been very professional and walk me step-by-step about what they are going to do how much everything will be and they are more then willing to work with you on prices.They showed up 30 minutes early before the job and made sure I was satisfied and showed me that everything operated like it was suppose to.I recommend Texas plumbing to anyone.

My Roman style faucet, in my master bathroom, started leaking so I turned to Home Advisor to connect me with a good plumber. Texas Plumbing Repair (TPR) was quick to call me and get me scheduled. TPR sent their plumber out the next day to assess my problem. The plumber, and his assistant, could not figure out how to get the hot water stem off to get access to the cartridge below. I kept watching him pull and pull on the stem, so finally I walked over and said that I think it’s screwed in. Instead of unscrewing it to continue the investigation, he took pictures of the Moen fixture and said that he needed to see if his distributor had parts. He also jokingly said that Moen is a “Buy it for looks, replace it for life”. He went out to his van and came back a couple of minutes later to tell me that he had good news and bad news. Spoiler alert, I never received any good news. The plumber said that parts for my fixture were not available any more, from his distributor or directly from Moen, and that I need to replace that fixture. He also told me that Texas Plumbing Repair would be happy to replace the Moen fixture with a new one that I went out and purchased. I said great, how much will that cost and he told me that it will be $1,138. To say I was shocked is an understatement. When I asked him why it would cost that much he told me several things that didn’t make since, including that they have to lift the entire face of the tub to get underneath it and that with a potential risk of breaking something there is a cost associated with that. I said that I would have to think about it and in my haste to get rid of him he then told me that he has to charge me for this service call. When I asked him how much, I thought he said that it will be $31.50. That seemed reasonable since he did not really do anything. I did not get a receipt and when I looked at my bank transactions the next day, I saw that I was billed $169.95. I called TPR and the lady I spoke with said that my breakdown of charges was: $131.50 service call + $12.00 supplies + tax. I said that I would like to speak with a manager and she said that she would have the owner call me. It’s now a week later and still no call, so I’m posting a review to warn people. I did call another company to come out, Master Tech, and I told the plumber, Justin, what happened and he too was floored. He told me that Moen is not carried on a lot of plumber’s trucks but Moen guarantees the fixture for life. He pulled the face of the tub off, capped the lines so that I could turn the water back on, and told me to call Moen. I spoke with a representative at Moen and they sent the entire valve system (both hot and cold) for free. Texas Plumbing Repair, in my opinion, is incompetent and they charge way too much. They give plumbers a bad name.

I want to follow up with a last response since the owner decided to comment. Yes, I was told that there was a fee, prior to arrival, but I assumed that they were actually going to do something to fix my problem. Before they left I signed the statement, on an iPad, and then paid. There was never any question that TPR didn’t have documentation and I said that I misunderstood the price the plumber told me in person so that’s my fault. I was mislead about having to replace my fixture and if I had followed through with the suggestion of TPR’s plumber then in addition to it being expensive, it would have likely been a catastrophe since they would have gone about the installation all wrong. Lastly, to the owner, please call me. My address is 5001 Spanish River Trail, and you should have my cell number. Perhaps you spoke with another customer thinking it was me but I never received a call from you. I have no reason to give a false statement, I’m simply unhappy with the service I received. Honestly, I waited a week to post this review because I wanted to give you a chance to make things right (or at least address the fact that I was not satisfied even if there isn’t a satisfactory resolution for both sides).

Had my sewer line backed up and Texas Plumbing Repair came out and cleared my line the same day I called. I received a phone call as well when the technician was heading my way. They advised me of what the repair would cost and when the job was done it wasn't a penny more! Placing this company on our community page and would use them again in a heart beat.

Shop around. Paid for an evaluation and only went with this company because I had already paid so much and they said they would credit that amount towards my bill. They almost forgot to do so until I brought it up at time of payment. But they were pricey and not very helpful or informative. When I asked for photos for my insurance company I was given blurry pictures that won’t help at all. They were also late both times even when they gave a window of arrival.

Big emergency at our house with water gushing from old pipes under the floors. Within an hour of calling Texas Plumbing Repair, plumbers were here. Service like that is wonderful especially when its this serious. Thank you, fellows for a great job.

I did not use this company. The reason I did not use them is because they never returned my call. I had a plumbing issue this past Saturday. I called them specifically because their web site states that they answer calls 24/7. It's even part of the company name. I called around 11:20 am and my call went to voice-mail. I left a message with my problem and my contact information and never heard from them. Needless to say I will not be calling them again.

Our water heater went out on a Saturday and they were able to come out as soon as possible and install it in our attic. Great pricing, great timing, professional, and super friendly guys. 10/10 recommend.

These guys are true professionals and so quick! I was having ongoing issues with my hot water heater and tried multiple times to fix it myself but it still wasn’t working. I called them and they came out right away and fixed it without any issues! I will definitely be using them again!!

Very unhappy with this company. They quote a price for the job before they pick up a tool, and will not explain how that figure was arrived at. Our old main water line broke at a tee in the pipe. They quoted 685.00 to fix it. We had no water and said ok. They cut the tee out , repalced it with pex and compression fittings, turned the water on and it blew a hole 8 inches farther back. He warned us this may happen and it would be another 100.00 to fix it. They extended the pex pipe and the pipe blew out again but now under our foundation. They then said it would be 2,000.00 to fix the pipe outside near the foundation. 4,500.00 to replace the line all the way to the meter. We said NO. so they left after spending 2 hours at a cost to us of 768.00 and we had no water. But wait...there is a happy ending!
2 hrs after they left my husband connected a temporary line from our other house, so we would have water. Today we replaced our whole main water line! Total cost $56.00
My advice would be to call a plumber that charges a trip charge, 200.00 an hour and charges for parts, you will get a better deal than we did.

We had this company come out to check a clog in our kid's bathroom. They identified the problem quickly, and got us back up and running. The techs were friendly and knowledgeable, and they're very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend them.

They came out to unclogged a toilet and found a pipe that was busted. They fixed everything, showing my husband what all they were fixing. Very efficient, they were here less that two hours and very courteous. Will definitely call again.

Never ever ever call this company I had a pipe clogged up was given a price of 187.50 they was here about 15-20 min said they needed to cut a hole in the wall and use a camera would charge 385 which I was given a price of 187.50 they did not fix it and still charged me the 187.50 and only tried for 15-20 minutes. Most plumbing company’s I desl with if they can’t fix it they charge me 50 to 75 for coming out not only did they want the 187.50 they wanted 225 I am writing the BBB and having my lawyer go after my refund. Company’s like this is the reason we consumers don’t trust other plumbing company’s. This Company is not recommended and I had another company just come right behind them and fix the problem in 30 mins without putting s hole in the wall at almost the same price they walked away with, I was total rip off man .Bad name for Texas Texas means more than that treat people right and you have a loyal customer for life .

Did not notify they would be 1hr late. Would not respond to my calls just my text messages. Didn't offer to change my appointment they just canceled it after I told them I couldn't wait longer because of work.

I would absolutely recommend this place. I had major sewer problem and they responded same day within a couple of hours after I called them and fixed it. They followed up with me too to make sure everything was still working.

Stay away from these people. I had a leak in my front yard around 4:30am. I marked the location and called. I was told that it would be approximately $170 do dig and find the leak. I had already found the leak, which was about 18 inches below the top of the ground. The technician called me and told me it would be $865 to repair the leak. We are talking about re-gluing a piece of PVC pipe, which I fixed when I got home.
I had forgot that these were the same people that charged me $325 to repair a leaking outside water faucet.

From the initial phone call to the tech Scott service was timely and professional, fair and honest pricing. I highly recommend this company for anyone in need of plumbing needs!
