Best Water Heating in Fort Wayne IN

My furnace fan blower motor went out Saturday night, and I called at 7am Sunday morning. The technician showed up shortly after and had it fixed in less than an hour. He was very professional and I appreciate him being considerate of his time spent on the work in order to keep the cost low. I feel like like most would take advantage of the weekend/abnormal hours rate.

Cannot recommend Northeast Mechanical enough! We have been using them for the last 3-4 yrs. They call and schedule bi-yearly servicing for our systems but also they handled our new heating install Nov 2021. We had some recent issues with the system (not due to Northeast) but they were so helpful and understanding in frustrating times. Treat their customs like family and just all around pleased! Josh and all of his team were so professional and amazing!

I called A. Hattersley based on a recommendation from a friend at church. I spoke with Mark Hollenbaugh over the phone and explained that I thought I had a water leak. Mark called me in the evening (7:15 pm) and spoke with me for 45 minutes. He came out and looked at the area I suspected had a leak. No leak!!! But he took the time to do a walk through my home and discovered a few other small issues that I had that I didn't even know about. Mark and Ricky came to my home today and completed all the work under the supervision of my two cats..LOL. All this work was done while I was at work and everything was cleaned up when I got home. I have never met Mark in person. We've spoken several times on the phones and he truly cares about his clients. Especially his clients who are widows, like I am.
The cost of the repairs were a bit steep but I had a lot done so that was to be expected.
This company has been around for a long time. A nice family-owned company.

I reached out online this morning about scheduling service, after about 20 minutes I had a rep call me to set the appointment. They worked around my schedule and Aron showed up right after I had gotten home. He was super nice and professional and showed me what I needed to know about my system and we talked about future services. I’d highly recommend HCE if all their technicians are as great as Aron is. If he’s free, request him even. He’ll treat you right.

A gentleman named Jacob showed up to fix my furnace. He was very kind, patient and knowledgeable. I would ask questions at times and he would explain what he was doing. I appreciated his work and professionalism. I would highly recommend him to everyone. In the future for other services or maintences I will them again given they send Jacob. Thank you again for your hard work!

Called North Side Plumbing for some water leaking through the ceiling into the basement. The plumber did not do a thorough job and stopped looking for causes once he found a crack in the garbage disposal. He was repeatedly told that the leak happened when the dishwasher ran. He failed to pull the dishwasher out and check for leaks. He just replaced the disposal and did not run the dishwasher. When he left, he said everything was OK. When we ran the dishwasher that evening, it created a tremendous flood into the basement. A manageable leak became extensive water damage. Northside has refused to accept any responsibility and actually blamed me and lied and said that I never mentioned the dishwasher at all. We are now looking at having to completely tear out part of the kitchen flooring and cabinets and all of the ceiling in one part of our basement and having to file an insurance claim when this could have been prevented. This is not how you should treat loyal customers.

Great experience here, they were referred to me from a friend and I was completely satisfied with the work, knowledge and price I was charged. Our furnace went out in the middle of the night, I called Josh and he walked me through some troubleshooting tips (as he was still on a job). Once we realized there was nothing else I could do, Josh offered to come by after his other job was finished or first thing in the morning. He came by at 8:30AM had the furnace up and going in no time, he fixed the furnace and went back through the entire system to make sure all of my settings were adjusted properly. He never once tried to sell me any parts or things I didn't need. Top notch service company!

Met with Seth to discuss options and pricing for a new Heating and AC system. Came to an agreement on price and got in the loop for installation. Seth and technicians , Kegan and Tyler, showed-up bright and early on a Monday morning. By the end of an almost 90 deg. day, my house was once again cool and liveable. The installers attention to detail and workmanship was impeccable. I would highly recommend Poormans for any mechanical issues one might encounter.

New installation of furnace, AC, and water heater. Arrived on time, technicians took the time to explain system operation as they were working. They helped load scrap metal and old systems in my truck to take to junk yard even though they would have taken trash with them. Price was right on quotes compared to other venders. Office phone calls were easy to work with. I wanted Trane, Carrier, or Bryant. The email quotes were easy to understand along with Trane pdf files.

Nathan was very professional and competent in servicing our air conditioning unit. He explained about the new contact rules very well. Very polite young man. *****

Tech made it out same day, called me within 30-45 minutes to tell me what exactly was wrong and that he could fix without needing to order parts. Joe Michell and Summers saved the day!

It is so reassuring to know that every time I call Jason for a plumbing problem, he will respond very promptly, do a quality job with repair or new installation, and do it at a very reasonable price. I will never use anyone else because I know that he is so trustworthy and friendly.
