Awesome experience. Our AC went out on a Tuesday night and they were out here by 11:00am Wednesday morning. AC was back up and running by 1:00pm. Kam was amazing from seeing if she could find one of the guys to stop by to take a look and to calling me right back! Jeff arrived within a few hours of me calling and he too was very professional. He explained what the issue was, replaced the failing part and gave us tips on what to keep up with. Cost was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend Merz to others! I'm currently upgrading my basement and decided to convert my wood burning fireplace to gas. I received a fair estimate from Merz and have been very happy with their work and understanding of the job to be done. They took their time in evaluating the scope of the project and completed the job as discussed. They connected to my gas line outside and brought this into my house. They then made the connection through my brick fireplace into the inside.

During the upgrade of basement, I decided to replace my old Furnance and AC Unit as well. I again used Merz to complete this task. They did an awesome job with installation and even recommended/completed a small redesign in utility room to make everything fit better. They re-ran new main heat duct up in trusses (were below ceiling before) and redesigned cold air return for better efficiency. Dan and his crew were exceptional during all phases and communication of project was great. During clean up, his crew detected a small gas odor too (nothing from their work) and were diligent enough to fix and correct. Very..very happy customer and would 100% recommend this business. All things working great with new Trane System, and looking forward in keeping comfortable with new units.

I noticed water leaking from my water heater and called Merz at 12:55. Having never used them, I was expecting the usual...they'd be out tomorrow to look at it, realize it needed replaced, order a new one, be out the next week for install. Nope, not with Merz! Within 2 1/2 hours of finding the leak I had a new water heater installed. For having an unexpected expense, Merz made the whole situation as painless as possible. I will definitely be using Merz for all my plumbing needs in the future. Thanks!

We hired Merz to come out and give us an estimate on what it would be to replace a main drain under our house. He crawled under took a look told us it would be 400 and the office would get back to us. We never heard back from them I called once to follow up the receptionist told me she would find out and I never heard anything. This is unprofessional and it's inconsiderate and for a business to act this way.
I really wanted to support a local small business and unfortunately we were not able to do that and going forward I will not be able to recommend Merz as a quality company to do plumbing work. We hired Summers and they were able to do the work the very next day. The work was quality and the men were very respectful, going forward when someone needs Plumbing work Summers will receive my recommendation. This is an incredibly sad as in today and the hardship small businesses are facing you would think that making sure that word of mouth is spreading positive reviews would be the most important.

We had a leak in the copper water supply line to our fridge which was jostled by getting floors replaced. I called and Gregg came out within 20 minutes, confirmed what was wrong, replaced the rigid supply line with a flexible one and had everything cleaned up in under an hour. Solved our problem in an emergency and it cost less than $200. I’m THRILLED.

With a simple description they found and fixed an obscure leak that we've had problems with on and off for almost 20 years. Very happy and well worth it. Greg, Josiah and the rest of the crew from Merz went above and beyond. We had a total system installation that included putting ductwork into the attic. Even with the extreme heat, they took their time in the attic and did a wonderful job of installing our vents and ductwork.
From the moment Greg first came and gave us a quote, to the moment he left, Greg was honest, concise, polite and didn’t treat me like a dumb woman. The crew cleaned up after themselves and I haven’t found anything inside or out. They respected our pets too!
I would recommend Metz for any job, big or small, not just for the quality of the work, but for the value as well. Out of three quotes, Merz provided us with the most efficient system, with the lowest cost, and installed it where we wanted, not just where it would work best for them.

They fixed three valves under my kitchen sink and were very efficient. Reasonably priced and very professional.

Jeff, Josiah (and Cam in the office) did an amazing job. Our hot water heater died yesterday, I called them today about noon, and they were finished by 6pm. Friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.

I had an appointment on a Friday afternoon and the repairman attempted to contact me mid-morning (about 10am) that day. He left a message saying he was going to be at the location in 15 minutes. I was working outside at another location and didn't get the call until after 11am. When I returned his call he stated I had missed the window for my appointment. When I attempted to call Merz office no one was staffing it, but left a message. Turns out he made the 1PM appointment just fine. He, along with a shadow, installed a new faucet in 15 minutes for $200 and had a sarcastic, pompous attitude. He even quizzed me on why I wasn't available earlier. I think he was lying about my appointment being earlier and he was trying to get a longer lunch on his company. Every previous work with Merz has been good, but this person was unprofessional and the cost was ridiculous.

We had a heating company come out and tell us we needed a new HVAC system. In a panic, with no heat after this snow storm, we called Merz for a second opinion. Jeff was at our house within a half hour, diagnosed the issue, gave an honest and helpful opinion- along with noticing something that was done incorrectly previously. We chose to replace the part, along with the piece that was done incorrectly. He went above and beyond- calling a colleague to grab the part at the warehouse before it closed, got it to us and replaced within 2 hours. This afternoon, we had no heat and fears of spending 10k+ on a new system. Tonight, we are going to bed with a working system, new parts, and a new favorite heating company. They are honest, straightforward and so nice to work with- going above and beyond to keep us as comfortable and make it as seamless as possible!

They made the process simple and easy from start to finish. Their prices were very reasonable. We called on a Friday and they were there Monday morning working and had the job done that day.
