We had an incredible experience with Carrboro Plumbing. We have used them twice so far. The company is run by a local couple. They are very responsive, professional and they do great work in a faster time frame than most local companies.

Rob called en route (right on time!) and was a pleasure to work with. He spent some time investigating, addressed the exact issue and when I shared I was a new homeowner, he encouraged me to learn alongside him so I was more informed about how the different pieces worked and some tips for the future. Pricing was very fair and transparent, Rob was very skilled and personable, and the job was done quickly and well. Will certainly be my first call for any future plumbing needs!

On New Years Eve, I discovered my water heater had been leaking/spraying how water. I immediately shut every valve, turned off the water and taped the leak. I reached out to every local plumber with good reviews and BBB accredited and Jayk was the only one who responded/kept 2-way dialogue going. Originally they said they couldn’t make it out until Tuesday but after trading messages Sunday and realizing the urgency, they were able to send Ephraim & Abel out Monday morning (ahead of schedule). I can not thank them enough-definitely a reliable company and I would absolutely recommend them!

We were referred to Faison Plumbing + for a second opinion. Corey came out to assess the problem. He took the time to explain what was going on and what needed to be done.He was friendly and professional. We are also pleased with the reasonable price. Great job and service.

Reached out to Dylan based on good reviews to try and find a leak around my kitchen sink/dishwasher that I could not locate and was causing my hardwoods to warp and make the subfloor damp. Was afraid it was the supply or drain lines out of sight/reach.

Dylan responded to an email inquiry and set up a time. He messaged the morning of the appointment to give me a heads up he was on his way and arrived about 5 minutes early. He found the problem was with the supply line(s) leaking behind the kitchen cabinet in the wall. He gave me a quote and he started work right away. He removed the bad supply lines and added new lines and cutoff valves. He completed the job earlier than anticipated and adjusted his quote accordingly. Will give the area a few days to dry out completely to be certain all is well, but seems like everything has been resolved.

Jeffrey did a great job. He was at our place in under an hour to help with our plumbing emergency. He was extremely friendly and communicative as he was working on the repairs. He worked quickly and the price was reasonable! Highly recommend.

Wallace Chambers was punctual and thorough. I had several issues for him to address and he did so efficiently. He did have to go in the crawl space and while he was down there he looked around for potential issues. He explained the work he completed and possible issues very clearly. I highly recommend him.

I was impressed with Modern Plumbing from my first call with them. They came out and thoroughly accessed and diagnosed our situation. We have a very large pressure tank that died. It was a special order, and had to be shipped/delivered. They also called several companies to find us the most affordable, quality option and ended up saving us a lot of money compared to other companies that had provided a quote.The staff knew that we were without water in the meantime and kept us on the schedule each morning in case the tank arrived early. When it came in, they were at the house and installing it at first thing in the morning. We have water. With strong pressure. And we are very happy with the experience.
