Updated: Based on the excellent experience with Alfredo we didn't look elsewhere for our next repair. And looking forward to working with him more on upcoming projects. I really can't speak anymore highly for Alfrefo and the team at After-hours. Alfredo was punctual, courteous, positive, friendly and fixed my double flushing toilet in a snap. Fair price, weekend service, easy scheduling, easy payment with detailed invoice. Could not ask for a better experience!

We called After Hours because our water heater wasn't working. He called me to let me know GPS showed he was 15 minutes away, and showed up at that time. He was fast and efficient. He was able to relight the pilot and did so without charge! AND he told me that if it went out again, it meant that a particular part was bad. He put notes in our file and pictures and serial numbers, so that if we called again, they'd know exactly what we needed and could bring it with them when they came out. I was very impressed with the service and courtesy. Definitely recommend!!!!!

I could not be more pleased with the service and solution I received with this company. Call out to Alfredo who did the work. The well water to my commercial space is light orange with tons of iron, including tiny chunks that consistently clog up the flush valve(s) on my toilet. Another company came up with an over-engineered solution and wanted to charge me 3x more than what I ended up spending with After Hours. Alfredo and team came up with a cost-effective solution to filter out most of the particles and to use a type of flush valve that was less likely to clog. I got an estimate immediately, the work was true to that estimate, and *BOOM* I can flush with impunity now.

Alfredo and Omar were terrific. I had a part go bad on my water heater and Alfredo went the extra mile making sure the manufacturer warranty paid for the part. I was impressed with the effort Alfredo took with me to educate me what to do if I ever have trouble again like where the water shutoff is on the tank, how to restart the pilot light, where to look to see the pilot light, instructed me about importance of keeping clutter away from the tank. All this was very much appreciated

Our hot water heater went out unexpectedly and based on recommendations on Next Door I contacted After Hours Plumbing. They were able to send someone within a couple of hours which was awesome! Nate called to let me know when he would be there and he arrived right on time. Nate let us know everything he needed to do to fix the water heater and provided an estimate. He was able to fix our water heater quickly and professionally. I can’t recommend After Hours and especially Nate enough! Will use them for any future plumbing needs!

I came home Friday evening of Labor Day weekend and discovered that I had no running water. One call to After Hours plumbing and my problem was solved in under 24 hours. The answering service actually answered on there first call.. And Nate called me back promptly, gave me a next day service window, and kept me updated throughout. Once on the scene, Nate took completely in stride the age of my well pump (40 + years) and very systematically found and fixed the root cause. I am endlessly grateful for his professionalism and skill!

The American Home Shield assigned a plumbing technician Nick Pleasants come to my home and suppose to repair the Toilet and the upstairs two shower tubs cartridge, garbage disposal, and the master bath aerator. I have requested the After Hours Plumbing and Pump company to wear the shoe protective cover before walk into my home. The plumbing technician his name is Nick Pleasants did wear the protective shoe cover when he left his service truck and walk through the dirty driveway and the dirty garage floor and try to walk into my home with the white carpet. I give him the clean paper towel to clean the bottom of his protective shoe cover and he don’t like it. When he walk into my home and look at the Toilet and the upstairs two shower tubs, garbage disposal, and the master bath aerator and refuse to repair any of the above items and make the un-professional judgement to report to American Home Shield that all of my claim is not covered by American Home Shield Home Warranty Nick provided un-professional and non experience judgement and not listen to the home owner explaining the problems and refuse to repair and said they are existing condition and refuse to repair. I purchased the home repair insurance over one month ago and if something not working that according to the American Home Shields should be cover by the home repair warranty. Nick Pleasants not doing his job and not perform any repair and not following the customer instruction to wear the protective shoe cover before step inside the customer home and provided the faulty information to American Home Shield and not performing any service repairs. I will stronger not recommend Nick Pleasants from After Hours Plumbing and Pump company to provide any plumbing services to any Home Owners.

I highly recommend this company. This is the second or third time we've called After Hours Plumbing for plumbing repairs. Each time they were professional, provided a clear explanation of the repair and completed the repair in a timely manner at a fair price. Today Alfredo and his partner replaced an outside water faucet for us and the work was excellent. We will definitely use After Hours Plumbing for any future plumbing needs.

We had a leaking water heater and contacted HSA for a service arrangement. The initial estimate came out quickly from After Hours Plumbing and the drama started. The technician handed over me an estimated invoice which surprised me with over $500 charge after the warranty company's coverage. Only 3 accessories, which the warranty company claimed that they don't cover these parts, for the water heater were in the invoice. I checked the prices for those 3 parts from Home Depot and Lowe's. The total average price for all 3 parts was only about $50. The price was $375 in the invoice plus $50 installation fee. I contacted the company right away after I realized that I got ripped off with these unreasonable charges. The secretary kicked the ball to the technician, then the technician told me that the prices were determined by the owner, Mr. Jones. I requested Mr. Jones to call me back but got denied. I complained the ripped off price to the technician and secretary. Guess what I got rewarded? The secretary lied to HSA and claimed that we didn't want to pay the fee. The company demanded to receive the payment before the service. I was stuck with this company because HSA refused to change another service company for me.

Stay away from this company if you want reasonable charges and great customer services.

After Hours really saved the day. I had a leak in my kitchen and the sent a tech named Nate! His professional work ethic and conversation skills were outstanding! Every company needs an employee like him to give great representation of the company image and customer service

Matt Cribb just left my house after installing a new well pressure tank. I have never posted a web review. But I feel compelled to do so now.A neighbor recommended After Hours Plumbing to replace a failed well pressure tank. I called the company yesterday and found a friendly and understanding voice on the other end of the line. She clearly understood my problem, mentioning that she would make sure that the responding plumber put a spare pressure tank on the truck in case the only solution was tank replacement. I was THRILLED when she told me that a plumber would arrive today. Matt called prior to his arrival. He was friendly and professional upon arrival. He competently assessed the problem, offered several possible solutions, and provided cost estimates quickly. Initially he told me that he’d likely need to order a larger tank and return on a different day. But then he made a few phone calls and let me know that he’d found a tank and could do the job today. Two hours later he completed the job. He made sure that I understood the fixes and changes that he made to the system and the warranties on the equipment and his work, and he encouraged to call if there are problems. I certainly will call After Hours for future plumbing work.

The technicians were not the most professional. They changed our faucet and garbage disposal but left everything they pulled out from under the sink on the kitchen floor. They didn't return it to the condition they found it in. They sat at my kitchen table without asking, which is not a big deal, but you should have the courtesy to ask as it is not your home.

These guys are excellent. I have had them replace a faucet and a garbage disposal. They also replaced my water heater. They are prompt and their techs are great!
I would recommend them to anyone in need of a routine or emergency repair.

Alfredo and Omar did an amazing job replacing the hot water heaters in my crawlspace. Additionally they installed flood stops to prevent a leak from damaging my crawlspace and active anode rods in the hot water heaters that completely eliminated the rotten-egg smell! As a bonus, those rods will more than double the lifetime of my new tanks! My crawlspace is sealed and is part of the house air system. Alfredo and Omar were incredibly careful to protect the crawlspace and left it cleaner than when the arrived. I will absolutely be calling After Hours for my future plumbing needs!

My husband and I noticed a high pitched screech coming from our water heater under the house when we turned on a faucet in the house. We called a few places but they were either booked up or didn't answer their phones. We contacted After Hours and they were thankfully able to come out the very next day! We were really worried about it getting worse with the Hurricane weather on the way and we were so thankful they could fit us in so quickly. Matt was so wonderful to work with. He took the time to explain to us what was happening and what we would need to fix the problem. When we discovered that our Home Warranty wouldn't cover the replacement parts, Matt told us what he recommended we replace and what could wait a little while to help with our budget. Matt was brought in to service my Navien tankless water heater. He installed bypass valves and serviced the water heater for one great price. Doug and his team of expert technicians are top shelf. We had a well issue on a Sunday afternoon. His schedule allowed for him to come over at dusk to inspect and see if he could fix it that night. We had those horrible gray pipes that were used in the early 90s. They started to leak and they damaged the house. A friend recommended Doug & the After Hours Plumbing team. I was fortunate enough that my Home Warranty Company put me in touch with After Hours Plumbing. My experience with obtaining contractors through the warranty is very up and down, but that's my experience when I've tried to vet and locate contractors on my own as well.

This outfit though..... Top notch! They didn't keep me or my wife waiting, were on time, performed the job quickly and effectively but most importantly GREAT PEOPLE. Smaller company with under 10 employees means that they value character in the people they bring on as employees and coworkers. THAT STILL MEANS SOMETHING TODAY.

Alfredo (just a good dude- great hair too!) was incredibly informative and honest about the CPVC pipes that are littered throughout my house. Was not only able to replace with PECS but give me an honest answer to some of my concerns about how the previous owner had repaired previous problems.

Replacing a kitchen faucet should be simple, but alas, I have found it very difficult to find plumbers that will work on mobile homes. Most plumbers have expected me to reinstall a whole new piping system underneath my home. When I objected, they reluctantly agreed to making simple hose connections, but with an astronomical estimated cost. Is it that hard for a plumber to connect pipes? 'After Hours Plumbing' took care of the problem without the fuss at half the cost. They are wonderful!

We called them to get a second opinion after a previous plumber told us we had to replace all of our toilets and he was able to fix 2 toilets without replacement - saving us thousands of dollars according to the quote from our first plumber. We had Matt come over today and fixed our leaking shower. We have also used After Hours back in February for a water heater replacement. Both times they showed up as promised (the same day for the water heater replacement) and were a good value. They were half the price of the competitor who seems to run lots of TV ads (I guess I now know how they pay for those). I would recommend After Hours and would use them again.

Matt did a great job. Was quick and professional. Took time to teach me about the water heater, as well.

Nick came to the rescue - at 4:00 on a Friday night, in the first snow of the year, I called After Hours when my water pressure had become a trickle. Within an hour I had someone at the house to replace my pressure regulator. Around 30 minutes later, the job was done and now I can shower! Excellent work, highly recommended. Thanks, Nick!

Nate did an excellent job helping fix our plumbing issues with a leaky spigot, and I’m very happy with his service. Nate responded promptly to our after-hours request, communicated clearly through out the process, and worked diligently upon arriving to quickly diagnose and fix our problem. I have used this company several times and won't call anyone else. They are reliable and fair. Always willing to offer suggestions but they don't push you into services that you don't really need. Great prices that you won't be able to beat. I have shopped around with other plumbers and they were not comparable to service and price. Highly recommend.

Matt was very professional and courteous from the get go. I called the company out for replacing an electric hot water heater and Matt explained everything that would be needed and what to expect. The price was very competitive and the installation went without a hitch. Would definitely recommend.

Great job on service but took a while 2 and half hours (35+ mins going to store to get part). Had to ask them before entering to wear mask they replied “we’re vaccinated” then only had one mask so I had to provide them with one, Asking me for my own Tupperware or bucket for the water to drain and paper towels to clean area. Shouldn’t a business/service have this and not ask the customer! One of assistants without asking starting using my toilet paper (expensive quality) Very Unprofessional…

After Hours Plumbing and Pump Service, Inc. came to my home in Wendell to check out my well pump yesterday afternoon after I put in a service call. Doug Jones, the owner of the company, determined that I needed a new submersible pump. Doug ordered the new pump, 100 feet of pipe and wire and a new well head and switch and gauge for the pressure tank. He arrived early this afternoon with Eric, a service technician and they completed the job quickly. I'm so glad to have water again! I'll be recommending After Hours Plumbing & Pump Service to friends and family! Thanks very much!

Matt did a great job repairing our tub and shower faucet. After patiently trying several fixes, he concluded it needed new valve stems and was able to complete a temporary fix while we waited for new parts being shipped from California. The delivery took longer than expected (3 weeks!) but Matt kept us updated on the shipment and installed the new valve stems soon after they arrived. He was exceptionally courteous and professional throughout..

Matt came out & was incredibly helpful & polite. He answered my questions & shared information as he was looking for the problem. He also tested my water. I would highly recommend After Hours Plumbing. Kayla in the office is really awesome in getting the information needed to get help out. She was also wonderful to work with. I can honestly say that I now have a regular plumbing company that I will use and it is After Hours Plumbing!!!

After having used a variety of other plumbers and plumbing companies, with less than desirable results, we gave After Hours a try. They have continued and will continue to be the only plumbing company that I use and recommend to others. Their response time is always the quickest, and they are always upfront and honest about the work that needs to be done and the cost involved. Nate specifically has been fantastic; I’ve never had a service provider warn me about having to charge more for certain tasks, as most would just keep working and put the extra costs on me later. In fact, in the 3 previous times After Hours has come out, they only charged me once, and that was after they inspected the leak and told me what I should do next. Most companies would charge the service costs just for coming to your house. Thank you all so much for setting a standard that all service providers should strive to match!

I would give this business ten stars if that were an option. Matt did just an amazing job with the repairs and was courteous and professional to boot. This actually was the best experience I have ever had with a home repair!! I could hardly believe my luck. I had to replace my washing machine and found that the water shut-off valves would not shut off. A bad moment. To make matters much worse, I could not operate the water shut off valve to my house. Matt appeared at the time promised, quickly diagnosed the issues and the needed repairs and was back out to do the repairs in a day. All the valves were replaced with amazing efficiency plus Matt explained everything as he went. I could not recommend this business (especially Matt!!!) more highly.

Both Matt & Joey arrived at the time they said, very professional and asked questions to better help them. Work was quick and no mess was left. We even shared a lil moment about cars lol. Thanks again Matt & Joey..

This week we’re were fortunate enough to have Chris replace all the ancient parts in our shower. As is routine with this company, he was on time, polite, knowledgeable, competent and fast, and neat! These guys get five stars every time!

After Hours plumbing was great! The technician Alfredo, wore a mask, was efficient and left the services areas clean.

We met Alfredo through our contractor during demolition of our kitchen in June. In addition to the demolition, he and his assistants have found and repaired a leak to our main water line, repiped the house due to discovering corroding pipes, installed our sink, faucet and dishwasher. Service is prompt and cheerful. Would definitely recommend.

Got an appointment scheduled quickly. Nate came in, super friendly and professional. Helped with diagnosing the issue (clogged faucet) and found another issue (dead expansion tank) in the process that he fixed on the spot. The expansion tank on my water heater was leaking. After Hours Plumbing was quick and ready to take on the job. A gentleman named Matt made contact with me before arriving to let me know beforehand. They fixed the expansion tank quickly and professionally. They even added in some straps to hold the tank in place and not have its own weight pulling on it. Matt and his helper did an amazing job and were insanely quick at getting us hot water again. Thank you so much.

Outstanding work on a new kitchen faucet installation! Matt at After Hours Plumbing executed the task efficiently and had the job done, including picking out and picking up the faucet for me, within two hours while I worked in the field today. It was fun to come home and see how cool the new faucet looked and how nicely it worked! I have used After Hours several times for my plumbing needs. They are in my opinion the best! Nate and his helper (whose name I've forgotten) were polite, tidy, professional and friendly. They did a great job installing our new water heater, including dealing with some special requirements we threw at them. I was particularly pleased by the fact that they showed no displeasure when I asked them to mask up inside our house - very different from other tradesmen, who roll their eyes and groan and otherwise let you know they think you're stupid. After years of searching, I have finally found a plumber I can welcome into my home with confidence.

I called After Hours Plumbing when my garbage disposal stopped working, after seeing a recommendation for them in my neighborhood Facebook group (Hillsborough, NC) - and I am so glad I did! Best experience I've ever had with a plumbing company. Not only was their response to my call quick and professional, Nate who came to perform our service was extremely friendly - he not only efficiently repaired our garbage disposal but also gave me helpful maintenance tips to ensure things will keep running smoothly.
