We had a leaking water heater and contacted HSA for a service arrangement. The initial estimate came out quickly from After Hours Plumbing and the drama started. The technician handed over me an estimated invoice which surprised me with over $500 charge after the warranty company's coverage. Only 3 accessories, which the warranty company claimed that they don't cover these parts, for the water heater were in the invoice. I checked the prices for those 3 parts from Home Depot and Lowe's. The total average price for all 3 parts was only about $50. The price was $375 in the invoice plus $50 installation fee. I contacted the company right away after I realized that I got ripped off with these unreasonable charges. The secretary kicked the ball to the technician, then the technician told me that the prices were determined by the owner, Mr. Jones. I requested Mr. Jones to call me back but got denied. I complained the ripped off price to the technician and secretary. Guess what I got rewarded? The secretary lied to HSA and claimed that we didn't want to pay the fee. The company demanded to receive the payment before the service. I was stuck with this company because HSA refused to change another service company for me.

Stay away from this company if you want reasonable charges and great customer services.

Set up was real easy through Thumbtack. Came out the next day. Walked me through the process Josh explained everything he was gonna do before he did it. Definitely would recommend.

When i called for quote, the woman on the phone hung up immediately. It was very rude and unprofessional. It should be a family bushiness. A reputable company wont do that.

We had a sump pump go out and 8 plus inches of water filling our basement. He came out after a late call on Friday afternoon and found a portable pump and stayed after 5:00 to get our water pumped out of the basement so he could get the sump pump replaced and our basement is now clean and dry. I had called three other places and no one could come out for days. This was awesome in every way! I am impressed!

They were scheduled through Lowe's, came three times to my house and always found a reason not to do the work. They have traded Lowe's reputation for me, don't waste your time with this garbage company. They come to your house, and say they left the tools; if not that, then you don't have the right parts, then when you buy said parts, they out their own on and charge you since yours didn't work.

Absolute joke of a plumber, never shop with them.

I called a little after 5 within an hour Melvin was here and within seconds he knew what was wrong. He fixed the problem, checked it out to make sure everything was working and left. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Thank you!

Our plumber was punctual and friendly, taking his time to explain the process of drain clearing thoroughly and answer any questions that we had. He clearly knew his trade well and had all the necessary equipment on hand, including the spare part required to complete the job fast.

The plumber came promptly, but was not prepared to do the job I had told them was needed, and then after quoting one price $360, tried to jack it up by $250.00 for merely cutting a small hole in subfloor, without warning me of any extra charge.After several phone calls, got this ridiculous charge removed. The new valve is good.
