I have nothing but praises for my experience. I was given a window of 8:00am to 11:00am. Edwin and (I forgot his associate's name) showed on time. They were friendly, professional, warm and patient with me. They worked efficiently and were respectful of my home. This is completely contrary to the service I received from a competitor. He showed late, did not cover his work boots, tried to bully me into additional work and was extremely very unprofessional. The competitor, Happy Home, wanted to charge me $525.00. Pure-Line's cost was $236.00.

Note I had 3 plumbers look at the issue and only Out the Door Plumbing was able to recommend a sound permanent fix. Communication was excellent and they worked with my insurance company to help smooth out the process of quotes and coordination with a restoration company to do the replacement work. As a general contractor and home inspector, I have dealt with many plumbers and seen lots of plumbing work over the years. I have to say that Jamie and his employees are at the top. Their work is very good quality. In addition, they are polite, knowledgeable and follow through with everything they say they are going to do. Having hired many subcontractors over the years, I can testify that this is rare in any of the trades. I can't say enough good things about Legacy Plumbing.

We live in an older neighborhood where many houses have developed drainage problems with flooded basements, dampness, etc. Neighbors tried many services (anyone with a backhoe or shovel can bill himself as a drainage expert), and most attempted fixes were inexpensive, but ineffective. Drain Express is far from the cheapest, but the quality of the work is high and completed on time. If there is a continuing issue, they are easy to reach and prompt to remedy any work for which they are responsible. In the long run, Drain Express is definitely worth what they charge and in the long run the quality of the work easily makes up for any initial difference in cost. Drain Express is a family-run business, and Dickie takes pride in his work and is the most knowledgeable plumber I've dealt with in our 45 years in this house.

I recently relocated to Raleigh and had some work done on the house that required the carpenters to remove the toilet to lay down a wood floor. I called to make an appointment and everyone I dealt with was helpful and friendly. Sean and his coworker showed up at my house on schedule, re-placed the wax ring and re-seated the toilet. The charge was what was quoted. I won't hesitate to call them again for more work, or when I redo my bathroom.

So there are dozens of plumbers listed in the area and you never know if they are honest and competent. I got really lucky by choosing Dr Drain. I had an urgent issue with my shower faucet leaking and spraying water into the wall behind the shower. I had to turn off the water shutoff for the house. The first plumber I called estimated a repair cost of $900. I decided against them and called Dr Drain. The receptionist, April was very nice, professional, and understood the urgency of my problem. She promised to have someone here in a few hours. As promised, Ryan showed up and listened carefully as I explained my problem. It took him about 2 minutes to see what the problem was and proceeded with the repair. He didn’t try to sell me parts that I didn’t need. Total repair cost was $200. I highly recommend Dr Drain because of their honesty, competence and fair prices. I would definitely use them again.

A friend recommended Greene Hunt when we needed to replace our sewer main. Archie was the only plumber we talked to that took the time to explain how he was going to route the new sewer line and how big of a trench he would need to dig in the yard. His team was professional and left everything in better shape then we expected. Since then we've used Greene Hunt for a few additional small items and been happy with the results.
