Best Bathroom Remodel in Durham NC

I contacted Carrboro Plumbing for my 80 year old mom. She had a leaking water heater that needed replacing. Was easy to make an appointment, they communicated well and were on time. At first the two men that showed up were very nice, helpful and ready to get the job done. It was a tight fit into a closet in my mom's bathroom. They did inform us they would need to remove some of the door molding to get the water heater in. But they would replace it back the best they could.
The job ended up taking about 6 hours with 4 men eventually. The water heater was installed and works fine. The mess left by the 4 men proved to ruin the good work they did do.
The walls around the closet were left with black finger print marks and scuffs. The floor in her bathroom around the closet was left the same way. The closet door frame was barely put back together. And most parts of the framing was just left off. I cleaned the walls with a Mr Clean sponge,something they could carry, and my 80 year old mom cleaned her own floor before I got there. I repaired the door frame. The door does not close properly any more. This was a $1250 job.
Will not be using Carrboro Plumbing again.

Update:The owners response was inaccurate. The invoice was not reduced. We were told via email the charge was $1250, but if we felt we should only pay $1200 that was fine. I emailed the company about the issues with pictures and never received a response. They never offered to rectify the damage they did. Positive now I would never use them again. Very unprofessional.

Doug is fantastic, excellent work with great attention to detail. He installed a point of entry water filtration system for us and I would definitely recommend him and his company.

I'm very glad I used Pure-Line when my garbage disposal started leaking. Jackie is always so kind and helpful on the phone. She called me as soon as she knew the tech was running behind (which happens in this business). I really appreciated the call so I could plan the day better. Edwin was my tech and he replaced the disposal quickly. He took the time to explain a few things with the new disposal and it's working beautifully. Their prices were more reasonable than some other plumbers. I'll definitely use them again.

Daniel and Josh did an amazing job of explaining everything and providing excellent service! We had several outdoor lighting fixtures installed. Great job! Highly recommend!

The workmanship, quality, professionalism, knowledge of my recent repair, and very courteous was more than I expected. The amount of time spent on the outside plumbing and drain repair was impressive--time management!!! I would use Bar D Plumbing again. Give them a try!!

I normally don't post reviews of companies but Warren and Sons was such a pleasure to work with. I had them come out today to troubleshoot what happened to my well and he started with the least expensive solution first but when that didn't work he called me to discuss further options. He was not only pleasant to speak to, but he answered all of my questions and he's reasonably priced. I will be using him a lot more in the future for sure!

Was provided with a fair quote over the phone to replace a water line in the yard, and they stuck to the quote. The price was very competitive for the work. They showed up when promised (in N. Raleigh), worked hard and focused, and completed it that day. Everyone was very polite. Very happy with the results and I will call on them again, as well as refer them to neighbors. Good business to work with.

Bernie added an entire door to the a stairwell in our home. He had to build out a wall and match existing finishings/style - and he did an amazing job. It looks like the door has always been there. Bernie is genuinely honest and concerned with doing excellent work (as well as being highly talented). I am happy to recommend Bernie for any home repairs, renovations or other work!

We had an emergency caused by a lightening strike. They made us a priority and had people here the next day to address our hot water heater issue. The specialist was courteous and understanding, answered all our questions and gave us good advice. I will have them back again for any further plumbing work.

Had a problem with our sewage line Saturday night and by Sunday morning we had Justin out to fix the issue. He was professional, explained everything clearly, was kind, and COVID safe. We appreciate how quickly he was able to fix the issue so we could go back to enjoying our Sunday.

I recently had two appointments with Sparrow and Sons inside of one week at two different locations. They got us on the schedule within 24-48 hours, were excellent communicators, showed up exactly in the time frame they said they would, and did excellent work quickly and efficiently. They are highly skilled and competent, and they don’t dawdle. They get in and they get out. 10/11 would recommend.

Dp&m was the company assigned through my home warranty company. May be an ok company for unclogging toilets, but anything beyond running a snake down the drain, I advise anyone using this company to watch the result of snaking the drain, as they will not bring anything to your attention, and will claim you need something beyond their ability, like a camera. You'll find out they (Elaine) says they assume finding something in you line, because they cant fix the issue, thus voiding the warranty company from fixing or addressing the problem further. I did not feel valued as a customer, and will never use or recommend this company. Elaine was rude, argumentative and unhelpful, just responds with this isn't our first rodeo.

There was no evidence of any blockage from the line that was run, I did not sign any report, and still have a blocked drain. Thanks for nothing, both the technician and Elaine.
