These guys are fantastic! I called for a quote on Tuesday to see about getting some heat in a room over my garage that had no heat to it. Shane came out at noon on Thursday to see what could be done. Had his guys out by 1:00 that same day to install a new heat duct from the crawlspace to the second floor. Heat was flowing by 5:30 that same day! They did amazing work and for a very fair price. Just found my new go to heating folks. Thanks!

Just purchased a new home and a few months pass then the blower motor starts to hum. I put a claim in with my home warranty company and they dispatched Flow Star. Sean the service tech did his due diligence and confirmed my suspicions about the blower motor. He also checked the airflow at the registers and discovered we had a CO2 leak and because of that he wouldn’t be able to repair it and we were looking at a new furnace in our future. Sean was very polite and knowledgeable and even took time to tell us his back story and how happy he was to be working for a union company. Steve, the man behind the phone, was also very personable and took the time to answer all my questions and got us an invoice and on the schedule for the install very promptly! Joe (journeyman) and “Tini” (apprentice) arrived on time for install and were extremely personable and professional! Being a former sheet metal Union man myself I was very happy to find out this was a union company! I couldn’t be more pleased with Flow Star and will definitely recommend them for anybody’s HVAC needs and will definitely keep them top of my list for plumbing and heating needs!

I called Denali Sewer and Drain when my sewer service froze. The steam hose became lodged in my service. The technician tied it to his truck to free it but ended up breaking my cleanout and tearing the hose. He drove away, leaving the hose in my sewer. The company didn't offer to help even though I called repeatedly. A full 24 hours later they offered to send someone out but I had already called another contractor.

I feel like Denali Sewer and Drain took advantage of me and I hope they don't treat other customers this way. They didn't communicate any of the risks to me and they should have stayed to fix my sewer after they broke the hose.

Their answering service answered their phones early on a weekday, got details and dispatched help as soon as they were able. By noon we had heat going in the apartment again.

No call no show, I took the day off and waited for nothing

Derrick was great! Very professional, scheduled quick (even though it wasnt an emergency) and very reasonably priced!

John was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He was able to fit us into his schedule on the same day we called and was very helpful. We will call him again for our plumbing needs.

Hot water heater went out. These guys responded, and were at my house fixing it within a couple hours. Would definitely recommend.

This is one of the worst plumbing and heating companies in Alaska. They “sold us” on a Wells McLean ‘Ultra’ boiler system which completely failed after a few years of use. We had a few leaks and other problems after installation too. The quality of work was not good. When we called to complain we didn’t get much help. The technician turned out to be a relative of the owner? and at that point realized what a mistake it was to use them. We definitely don’t recommend using this company. Extreme Heating & Air are a much better choice.

Furnace went out and they lent us space heaters until we could get the furnace fixed. Newborn at home and they understood the importance of having heat in winter.

They were late to reply with a quote but absolutely made it right by trying to take care of us. Will be using them to replace out hot water heater when it goes out, would absolutely recommend in the future.

They actually care about people, which is hard to find. Love this company and these people.

Highly recommend Handy Tom's Plumbing. He was there the same day I called. Did excellent work and reasonably priced. And a very nice person. What more could you ask for? Will definitely use him again.

They were able to squeeze me in the same day to fix a pin hole leak. They fixed it in about an hour or so. I would definitely call them again
