Best Heating System in Anchorage AK

I had a washing machine hot water copper pipe freeze and burst so needed a plumber ASAP! Called all the ones I’ve used before but they were all very busy. Finally was told by Pacific Supply to call Sage Mechanical. The gentleman that answered was extremely helpful and said he could dispatch a plumber with a few hours!
Within 2 hours Richard called and was at my home within that 2 hour time period promised. Richard was very professional and had my repair done in an hour!
I can’t say enough good things about how happy I am with Sage Mechanical🤙 They are an excellent company that does what they say they’re going to do and fast🤙 Richard is an excellent plumber/mechanic and was not only professional but also prompt, courteous and friendly!

Received an appointment quickly, and Joe came early and did job efficiently.

Hogins Plumbing and Heating puts helping the customer as priority over making a profit. They could have easily charged me a service fee to come out to my house and tell me that I simply needed to change the batteries for my touch faucet (batteries that I had no idea even existed since I was completely unfamiliar with a touch faucet). Instead, they troubleshooted with me by text on a Friday night, after hours (as late as 11 pm), and they were able to figure out what the problem was so that I could get the sink working right away. I will definitely call them next time I have a need for service.

Had a service technician arrive to my home within 1-1/2 hours of my call for loss of water supply. Gentleman was able to resolve the issue and several other lingering issues on the spot. Mr. Fox helped us with an unknown wall leak and was able to come after hours and help us same-day. His expertise and depth of knowledge was unprecedented as well as his professionalism. Mr. Fox was able to assess the issue quickly and provided expert plumber repair. I highly recommend him to anyone. He has over 30 years of experience and is extremely capable.

Very happy with the service from Burton Repair. First call was to replace a toilet and valve. We liked the work so much, we called back for repair of both garage doors. I was surprised at the variety of problems they repair.

Tim and company are awesome! I called with a toilet leaking issue in our guest apartment after our guests reported the problem. It was middle of the day, but Tim said he could come out in about two hours. He sent two gentlemen who were professional, polite, knowledgeable, efficient, just awesome! When they got here I asked them to also fix the bathroom faucet which was loose and leaking. And, to check all of our toilets! They did not hesitate, and got the entire job done within about 15 or 20 minutes. I’m so grateful to them all, this is a busy season for guests and they made it work. I keep them in my contacts and will always use them.

Matt Akeson from Extreme Heating & Air, worked on my water heater today. Matt did a great job! Resolving a leaking pipe issue! Matt was friendly and professional and fixed the problem very quickly. Additionally, Matt took measurements & pictures of a rusty sink in my guest bathroom to prepare a quote for the work required to install a new sink and replace the PVC plumbing underneath. Extreme Heating & Air does it all! They installed and serviced most of my appliances; new water heater, new dishwasher, new garbage disposal unit, serviced my existing gas furnace and installed a new gas line for a new double convection stove! Thanks for another great job!

Cody Waite from Extreme Heating & Air, fixed a gasket leak on a recent new sink & faucet install. Cody worked fast! He was in & out and did a great job! Cody tested the new rubber gasket by filling up the sink and double checking the pipeline for Leaks. Cody was super friendly and professional and the work was accomplished very quickly. We can't say enough good things about our experience with Flow Star! Kurdel was fantastic to work with right out of the gates. Having used to work in construction and property management myself, I have had to work closely with numerous contractors and tradesmen, I can say with confidence that Kurdel is one of the best. We contacted him on a Friday afternoon (I called several contractors and he was the first and turns out only to call me back) He was able to look at the pictures I sent him and give me an estimate over the phone and schedule the service for the very next day. He showed up on time and prepared to get straight to work and knocked out the demo and installation without any issues, he also made the necessary upgrades to get us up to code since our existing unit was 30 years old. Kurdel texted me that night to make sure that things were running smoothly and reminded to to adjust the temperature to our liking. He followed up with me again today (Monday) to make sure that we hadn't run into any issues. Kurdel's communication is Top Notch!! We have definitely found our contractor for any future plumbing at our home or business and we will be sure to refer him to all our friends!!

The entire process from scheduling estimate-to getting the estimate- securing financing- and the actual installation was actually pretty amazing- everyone I dealt with was extremely polite and professional. By far and away the nicest group of people I have ever dealt with during my time as a homeowner here in Anchorage- My old furnace was 45 years and ready for retirement- and the estimator/Joe took his time and answered all of my questions- which was refreshing and greatly appreciated! CeCe in the office is a complete gem- she is a dynamo and a real credit to Diamond Heating- they have someone really incredible working for them!!!The installers were early to arrive- upbeat and very friendly- and the removal and install was over and done in 3 hours!! They took the time and showed me how to program the thermostat and they answered all the questions I had regarding my new Trane furnace! Best experience EVER! Would I use them again and would I recommend them? YESSSS!!!

My go-to plumbing and heating company. They are honest, fair, and reliable. Trey has always been responsive and helpful with his recommendations. And I’m not sure what that lady in the reviews below is talking about - Alaska Plumbing Service charges based on bids they write up - it’s basically a service contract. You don’t get charged extra for “chit chat,” but you also don’t get to negotiate for a different price after services have been rendered. It’s very fair, especially for the quality of repairs and services you get.

No call no show, I took the day off and waited for nothing

It took Circle three times out to fix my leak. One plumber complained that raw sewage poured all over him. Turns out it was gray water. The office staff was rude sounding over the phone. I paid the first days repair bill. Then after it was discovered the leak was not fixed they said they would comp the overtime fee and just bill me for regular hours. The thing is the plumber was NEVER at the house after hours. The leak still was not fixed. So a third plumber was sent out. Leak was eventually fixed. I received the final email bill with a threat that if I didn't pay by the end of the day at 4:00 pm they would charge me for after hours rate, they would charge me for all three travel times and turn me in to a collection agency. Freaked out I called immediately but the guy, Michael Dupree had left the office early. I had to call back the next day and make the payment. He denied being rude by sending me the final bill with threats of collection agency action. I was very insulted as I pride myself with my excellent credit rating and bill paying record. I will not use them again and I do not recommend them to others.

I called All-Star plumbing and heating expecting to be put on a wait list due to the earthquake. Within 20 mintues of calling Joe was dispatched to our house. I had no idea where my leak was happening. Joe came out assess the damage and was able to fix the issue within an hour. The price was reasonable for the job. Joe was respectful, friendly and efficient. I will always use All-Star for my family's plumbing needs!
