After looking for a trustworthy company to repair our AC, I finally came across Prime Plumbing & Heating Inc. Their technicians were highly polite and answered my questions patiently. I am thankful for their efficient AC repair services and have advised everyone in my family to hire this company for all their needs.

When my kitchen sink clogged up, I knew I could trust Tipping Hat to get here in a timely manner, send qualified techs, and get the job done properly at a reasonable cost. Buyer Beware. This company is disreputable and will absolutely price gouge you. I contacted them for routine maintenance on my HVAC system in my 600 SQFT Condo. They told me that the entire HVAC unit would need replacing, and they quoted me $15,000-$20,000. Reasons cited were low Freon levels, internal rust to the system, and a failed stop-safe mechanism.

Some of you might be unfamiliar with HVAC systems, as I was, but that price is absolutely absurd. Initially I had sticker shock, but I was not schooled enough on HVAC systems to know if their price was fair. I did my own research and found out that a unit for a 600 SQFT apartment should cost ~$3000-6000 with labor. I called Horizon back and told them about my research, and they immediately started making excuses about their prices, trying to justify it with professionalism, high quality, and precision measurement (lol $10,000 for a tape measure).

Fair enough, but when Im spending $15,000, I like to know exactly what Im buying. I asked for a detailed breakdown of labor costs, parts, etc. so that I could see what I was paying for, and they said oh, yeah, we dont do that. How ridiculous! Imagine going to a grocery store, not knowing what you're buying, and not being able to get an itemized receipt.

I got a second quote from another contractor. They told me that my Freon levels are exactly where they should be, that internal rust happens normally and can be cleared out, and showed me that my stop-safe was working by demo-ing it.

I asked the second HVAC professional what he would charge if I needed the entire unit replaced (which he advised against), and he said it would cost no more than $6000, and that's if I let him have free reign to put in a state-of-the-art unit.

Again, buyer beware. The folks they sent out were very nice and professional, but this company is predatory and looking to take advantage of inexperienced homeowners and people without HVAC knowledge. They should be ashamed.

Cody was fantastic. He was informative and helpful with explaining how my AC worked. He provided the different options on how to approach our issue and even provided professional opinions. We decided it might be time to replace our unit and he helped us get setup with a consultation meeting. I would recommend Cody to anybody in need!

I couldn't be happier with JD's Plumbing.Adam was our technician he was extremely professional. My furnace was a bit of a mystery. He worked really hard to get us heat back. The prices are very reasonable. I have nothing but positive thing's to say about this company. I will absolutely be using them again in the future for any of my plumbing needs.

Have had them install A/C, new furnace, new hot water system, and remove old solar unit. They are very professional, arrive on time, work well, and do what they say they will, and are very helpful when something unexpected arises. Their prices are fair and I recommend them highly.

Charlie was awesome! I live out of State and one of my rentals water heater was not producing hot water. Got a hold of Charlie on a Saturday, he went over within a few hours and told me the problem and gave me my options at no charge. He was so professional and helpful! Definitely would recommend Charlie for any water heater needs!

Horrible service. Left my bathroom dirty, didn't review the work with me, the service person just disappeared. They left the water pressure too low and after a month of several contacts, finally returned. When I asked what the water pressure level was the tech replied, I don't know, I don't have a water pressure gauge A plumber who doesn't have a water pressure gauge wants me to guess what water pressure is sufficient?! Follow up to management was useless. I'll pay the bill, but will never use Tony Capra Plumbing again
