Their driver on e470 this morning at 8am Friday March 25, 2022. Driving a box truck was weaving lanes going at least 90 almost ran myself and every other car around off the road. Then proceeded to lane block people trying to pass him. Reckless and angry. Great representation of your company👍

Predatory pricing: Read the reviews from Horizon's other location on W. Thomas Ave. to see other customers who experienced similar scams. Horizon came out and its tech told my wife that the capacitor had gone out, causing the compressor to go as well. Since they don’t repair parts on R22 units, the tech claimed we would have to purchase a new AC . . . cool. The tech sent out a salesperson for the new AC unit a few days later and the scam escalated--she said I also needed to replace the furnace because my current blower was incompatible. If I was getting everything replaced, which I plan to do eventually, I wanted it done right, so I had a lot of questions and requests. The responses I got were incoherent garbage from a trained scam artist. I am an engineer and was shocked by the salesperson's claims regarding the superiority of their systems while she was unable to explain basic aspects of their design and function. The verbal quote she gave me for the AC and furnace replacement in my less than 2,000 square foot house was ~$16-18k. In the end, Horizon realized I was not going to be scammed by them and called me back to say they did not see us as a fit. A few days later, Northglenn HVAC came out and fixed my system for $167. There was no need for a new AC at all; we just needed a new capacitor and it was good to go. It’s been running smooth keeping the $15,833+ I saved cool ever since. Get multiple quotes but don’t let one of them be from Horizon.

A pleasure to have Preston come out. He diagnosed our short cycling problem quickly. Turned out to be the corroded coil for the AC and calcium build up blocking the air flow to the furnace causing OH.

They really stand by their work!!! I spent a little over $6000 to re-pipe our entire home and some drain lines. I had a small problem with the drains after and they came out and they rectified the situation with-out cost to me even though my problem really had nothing to do with the work they did in the first place. Detlef left my property nice and clean and even used a very refreshing smell after he cleaned up. Great company and great people!!! I really appreciate all of your employees and management!!!!

Our water heater was leaking and Befort came out and replaced it for us. They were on time and very professional. We will be using Befort for all our future plumbing needs.

Domonique the tech provided excellent service, explained everything he was doing throughout the process of cleaning a line and sewage discharge pump which was not installed properly by another contractor a few months ago. Definitely will use them again.

I really wanted to love this company, but my experience has been awful. I dont understand how they have such great reviews. I called for a swamp cooler start up, and to repair what needed to be. I put way too much trust into this technician. I had to reschedule my first appointment because they were going to be an hour late after the 2 hour window. The technician came at 530, then worked for 2 hours and charged me $972, I didn't care if my house would be cool! Next day it started leaking. My husband called first thing Monday, someone could not come until Tuesday evening. Then they no showed, while my family of 5 baked in our 80 degree house. I will never use this company again. Looking back I wish I never agreed to pay that amount, could have done it myself. I will update if they actually come back and fix their mistake.
Update:John finally arrived at 9 pm. My husband was satisfied with the completion of fixing our leaking swamp cooler.

Carlos and Max were awesome. They were extremely professional, on time, and got my swamp cooler up and running quickly. Communication with the main office was always fantastic, and all the staff took care of me at all times, including flexing around my schedule due to childcare issues. I truly felt like they listened to my concerns and did their best to accommodate. I signed up for the membership to manage the seasonal swamp cooler maintenance as well as any plumbing related issues I may have in this location.

Nolan was amazing. Very patient and informative with all of our questions and really spent the time walking us through all the options for the new hot water heater that we need (which they’re installing next day!). Would highly recommend!

Be careful when using Tony Capra Plumbing and heating... if they show up at your door and do no work, they will charge you $205!

On their web site they have a section that is titled Fair Pricing at Tony Capra Plumbing and Heating they go on to say We are a trustworthy business and only charge for products and services provided. That is why we have chosen to stand by our traditional method while other companies have changed to upfront pricing.

Clearly $205 to show up is an up from charge... One that they do NOT explain to you when you schedule an appointment.

I called to discuss my invoice and they basically said we don't care what you think...we don't care that this charge was not explained to you...our prices are the best in the Denver area (so not true)

Feels like they pulled a fast one on me, and I would highly recommend you get an estimate on the phone before they arrive or it will cost you $205 before they do any work.

When I called to discuss this I spoke with Carlo, he had no desire to discuss this with me and said that's they way we do it... I am sorry no one explained that to you up front.

I told Carlo I would pay their bill, but never use them again. He did not care at all, made it seem like I did something wrong. Great job Carlo, I appreciate your complete lack of care and your willingness to lose a customer.

Unless you want to be overcharged...
Stay away from Tony Capra Plumbing and heating.
