Because of all of the recommendations on here I called Affordable Plumbing a couple days ago. I am so beyond disappointed right now I can't even see straight. On the phone I made it clear we were both disabled veterans and were having a hard time and didn't have a lot of money. I knew I needed a new wax ring in one toilet. Jonas came to our home and took one look at our upstairs toilet and said because the bolts were rusted we could spend $387 on a major rebuild of a 15 year old toilet or have him install a new one for $450. He made this sound like an emergency. I had him look at our other toilet just in case and of course it was the same situation. So... $900. I didn't have it, but they were kind enough to give me 5% off for being a veteran. Among other things they tried to get me to spend an additional $249 so I could get financing. Anyway, so I went to the bank and drained our savings and put part on our credit card. After all that and feeling sick, we have had 3 plumbers tell us we were completely ripped off and should have been given other options. The toilets that were used (Gerber's most basic) probably cost no more than $100 each so... $655 in labor? And I specifically asked about going to Lowe's and getting my own toilet and he told me he would charge $400 to install 2. Now I feel like a complete idiot for even letting them in my home. Very disappointing.EDIT- I've had 2 plumbers contact me tonight to give me estimates to prove price gouging. They took severe advantage of 2 disabled veterans and drained our savings account. I will be contacting BBB.

These guys are awesome they just saved me from thousands of dollars and having my basement torn up. Another company had quoted that I needed to replace my entire sewer line because of a quote collapsed line under my basement floor Jeremiah was able to completely clean out my sewer line in less than 20 minutes I'll use no one else ever again they are my heroes.

Tried calling several times to set up appointment. Middle of a Thursday morning. No answer, no way to leave message.

Jorge did wonderful job of new basement intall of bathroom and bar. Very personable and consciousness. Highly recommend. Very skilled but at a reasonable price. Completed shower/tub, sink and toilet. Bar install: garbage disposal, sink and dishwasher. Very kind even when we made last minute changes from tile to vinyl floors. He had to redo toilet drain but completed quickly and professionally. Really cares that customer is happy with job. Thank you GSES!

These guys were amazing. We had another company say that we needed a full repipe of our house and had given us an estimate at $6,200!! Western Peak Plumbing came in to give us a 2nd opinion and told us the problems were actually simple fixes and would cost us under $1,000. They were very professional, knowledgeable, and were great at communicating with us every step of the way. They really did come in and save the day!

I called this establishment due to the high reviews. I was greeted by a lady and briefly explained my plumbing symptoms and would like to setup an appointment two days out. She gave a quick thin-lip diagnosis and stated they were booked two weeks out with no follow up statement. I responded with “Great” expecting her to offer another date or a follow up call, but no. She said “it is great for us, but not for you”. WoW!!!!! could someone please tell me HOW do you obtain high reviews with a gatekeeper like that?!? The beauty of money is you can spend it anywhere.

James came out to our home to diagnosis an issue we were having with our AC. He was on time, friendly, and professional. He spent over 2 hours showing us and explaining, in great detail, issues he identified, as well as various options for resolution. Outstanding service. Chris J. Showed up to repair a leak and refill the system. Outside of the cost of the coolant, the labor fees were very fair and reasonable. Chris even combed the fins on the condenser unit while he waited for the system to fill. The system runs great now! Thanks a lot guys, I’ll be recommending you to family and friends.

Rick came right away for me when other plumbers would not come to Lake George. His prices are more than fair and his service is great. He actually called me the next day to make sure things where fine. For those who live in the mountains, you are lucky to find Rick. He did bring a helper and also he had me send pictures and write the info from the pipe. He brought the right pieces, which means a lot because the nearest store is 45 minutes away. Rick is GREAT!
